TOMMY CASTRO is a Brooklyn-based DJ, musician & record label owner (Our Starry Universe Records). Former host of Cool Runnings. Tommy has a monthly radio show, Grand Street Sounds, w/ Planet B & William Robbins at The Lot Radio & a bi-weekly show, Our Starry Universe, for the Brighton (UK) radio station 1BTN.FM. Additionally, Tommy & Brooklyn Record Exchange owner Ben Steidel play together as Spicy Boys & made “Spicy Little Clouds” for the Lot Radio’s “A lot of love” compilation. In 2020, Tommy co-founded Our Starry Universe with long-time musical companion, friend and studio mentor Tim Wagner. They’ve released six records by extended family members A Separate Reality and Birds of Pandæmonium and UK's Dan Wainwright. and have managed to coax stellar remix material from stalwarts Each Other, Juan Maclean & Hardway Bros.Their RA profile lists Dither Down.Recently at Eavesdrop, Jupiter Disco, Good Room · often with Planet B, gabby cocco, Mickey Perez, none of them here that night
