Just like the ‘80s soundtrack bangers she’s known to slip into many a peaktime set, Lauren Murada’s origin story is a classic coming-of-age movie straight off the big screen—but make it NYC, and definitely make it disco. In search of the perfect dance floor to call home, she booked a one way ticket from Sydney to the City That Never Sleeps in 2014, and never looked back… One step into the world of her infamous party series Love Games and it’s clear that she’s made her dreams come true: It’s a love letter to disco made manifest, forged in part from her nine-year tenure as Production Manager at Good Room, and carefully honed through countless nights spent on Brooklyn dance floors and behind the decks. Championing beloved pioneers from the Golden Era of disco with reverence, the party equally sets the stage for the joyfully abundant expressions of the next gen. Lauren and fellow party resident Finn Jones host legendary DJs and devotees alike as they spin across the spectrum of timeless classics, leftfield treasures, mind-melters and guilty pleasures. Swept off their feet by undeniable grooveladen sets served by the likes of François K, Mark Grusane, CC:Disco!, Session Victim, Dee Diggs and more, dancers are held in the warmest embrace of balloons and mirrorball kisses—at Love Games, everyone’s a winner. Joy continues to take the lead in Lauren’s production work. Her hot n’ ready edits [out on the cheeky Fundido chaps’ eponymous Brooklyn-based label] range from funky tongue-in-cheek serenades [“Married Men”], sleaze-tastic glam rock gems [“Paradise Garage”], to blazingly glorious femme anthems [“Under Fire”] that will have you reaching for your hairbrush mic! They’re a perfect extension of who she is today as a DJ and selector—an irrepressible force of Fun, dedicated to surprising her dance floors with an open invitation to Love.Recently at Good Bar, Gabriela, Nightmoves · often with Finn Jones, Party Dad, Love Games, none of them here that night

First a drummer in high school rock bands in a small city of the French Alps, Mathis aka The Director, co-founder of Taylorhythm, found his love for house music when discovering clubs in Montreal where he started underground events and house parties with his former duo 55-80. After years of research and collecting vintage studio gear, The Director cemented a unique sound, directly inspired by 90s House and French Touch. Studying cinema for a few years, he quickly started linking with cinematography with music production; and found his formula for energetic, epic, emotion-filled music. Strongly influenced by rock and disco, The Director focuses with great detail into giving his music a feeling of authenticity that he finds missing in today’s charts: embracing happy mistakes, the spontaneous aspect of recording his music live, and bringing back vinyl records to the clubs and festivals of Paris, Montreal, New York City, Austria at Electric Love, etc. With a dedication to crafting a project that breaks the mold, The Director's unique way of doing things allowed him to get plays and share the stage with industry leaders like Barry Can't Swim, Claptone, Dan Shake, Dombresky, Duke Dumont, Ian Pooley, Mr. Oizo, ... ; and at festivals/medias such as BBC One Radio, Pacha Ibiza, Radio FG, Tomorrowland, …Their RA profile lists KOOKOO RECORDS.often with Assistant Director, Austin Kunis, Beatrice Coulter, none of them here that night
