Aleska (previously Electro Cherry) is a DJ and producer from the Midwest, who recently made the bold leap from corporate America to pursue her passion for electronic music. Now based in New York City, she’s quickly making a name for herself on the underground scene. With a sound shaped by global underground influences, Aleska blends a mix of deep, acid, progressive, minimal, hypnotic, and trance that keeps the dance floor moving all night long. Whether exploring new sonic territories or experimenting with fresh beats on her digital and vinyl decks, she’s carving out a unique space in the electronic music world. Aleska is an active leader in the Support Women DJs movement, which aims to increase the representation of femme-identifying DJs on lineups. In addition to her work in this space, she hosts a monthly radio show called Ripe Frequencies at Hi-Note, showcasing the spaceship-sounding music she loves.
