Known for his versatile, layered closing sets that emphasise atmospheric storytelling through tension and release, he has built a reputation as a dynamic figure both in the DJ booth and the studio. In recent years, Amotik has expanded his artistic scope. He launched AMTK+, a sub-label providing a platform for like-minded artists with a shared musical vision. He also collaborated with Answer Code Request on a bass-heavy record for Delsin, giving both artists space to explore their UK and breaks roots. Most recently, he showcased a lighter side with select house sets at Panorama Bar in Berlin, Merge in New York, and Radion in Amsterdam. His touring schedule has taken him to iconic venues such as Berghain, Fold, De School, and Khidi, while he maintains residencies at the revered Goethebunker in Essen and Pax-Romana in Amsterdam. Alongside notable releases on labels like 47, BPitch, and Figure, Amotik's critically acclaimed albums Vistār and Patanjali have further cemented his reputation as a visionary producer, earning praise from Mixmag and Groove Magazine. 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of his self-titled imprint - not just a milestone, but a testament to perseverance, proving that consistency, dedication, and staying true to one’s sound can shape a lasting career in an ever-evolving scene. “THE GOAL IS NOTHING.”
their own biography
the whole biography
THE GOAL IS NOTHING. THE MOVEMENT IS EVERYTHING. Born in the suburbs of Paris and now based in Berlin, Quelza has developed a body of work defined by precision and intent, free from categorisation. His path hasn’t followed scene momentum or passing waves. It unfolds according to its own internal logic — a steady refinement of sound, structure and space. Releases on Dekmantel and Ostgut Ton trace that evolution clearly. Each record carefully engineered: futuristic, grounded, detailed without excess. Tension builds patiently. Rhythms shift and reconfigure. Atmospheres stretch and contract. There is clarity in his music, but never repetition — the framework is solid, the direction always moving forward. Behind the decks, Quelza’s sets don’t rely on genre markers or obvious peaks. He works with pacing, contrast and control — moving between pressure and restraint, density and openness. Rather than chasing reaction, he shapes progression. A regular at institutions such as Berghain, Basement, Fabric and beyond - which reflects something earned over time: trust in his vision and in his ability to hold a room without shortcuts. Quelza’s approach resists short term payoff. The emphasis is on continuity, developing a trajectory that grows with intention over time.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Mord, 47, Dekmantel UFO and 1 more.Recently at BASEMENT · often with Berghain, Virginia, cotton, none of them here that night
“Wise portrays a deep sense of knowledge and maturity, devising atmospheric soundscapes with a raw but modern touch, captivating the listener from beginning to end.”

Wise portrays a deep sense of knowledge and maturity, devising atmospheric soundscapes with a raw but modern touch, captivating the listener from beginning to end. His sets demonstrate this to full effect, consistently maintaining a powerful sonic trademark via a low end focused, yet intricate and enchanting selection. Indeed, the capacity to dip in between deeper realms of sound and rhythmic exploration aids the artists preference towards longer sets. Before discovering the world of electronic music, Wise came from a background of drum and percussion which was guided by his Iranian father, a former professional drummer. This influence plays a key part in shaping the foundation of techno that he crafts. Subsequently, exposure to Europe’s dancefloors further triggered his passion, allowing him to understand the importance of the interaction between the physicality of sound on the human body. Fast-forward to 2024, this notion gave birth to his label ‘Moving Pressure’. Conceptually, as the title already hints at, the imprint focuses on the capacity of sound to guide movement and emotion, to weave into the fabric of our physical being. Concretely, the first release features a 4 tracker by Wise himself and will proceed by showcasing his sonic vision through self and external releases. The artist’s 'quality over quantity’ mindset has seen him become a mainstay on influential labels such as Mote Evolver and his pure but passionate approach to music has given him the honour of gracing institutions such as Berghain and Bassiani and earned him a residency at the esteemed underground Eerste Communie parties hailing from The Netherlands. “Setaoc Mass is an essential voice in techno and electronic music today.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Setaoc Mass is an essential voice in techno and electronic music today. As a DJ, producer and label curator, his vision is bold and clear, rooted as much in techno as it is in IDM and experimental music. His sound—sleek, hypnotic, ultra-refined—is instantly recognizable, the result of tastes and techniques honed over 15 years of monklike dedication to his craft. Setaoc Mass records are routinely gobbled up by DJs lauded by shops like Hard Wax. His labels, SK_Eleven (a platform for his own music) and SK_X (an outlet for music from like-minded artists are among the best in techno. As a DJ, he is a regular on the world's most hallowed dance floors, from Berghain to Bassiani. Setaoc Mass is Sam Coates, an artist born in Manchester, long-since based in Berlin and now in Kyiv, Ukraine. He started DJing and making music after a simple experience that changed everything: a friend's older brother showing him a series of seminal music videos from artists like LFO, Aphex Twin and Autechre. Soon Coates was soaking up CLR podcasts and marathon techno sets in Berlin. The foundation for the sound of Setaoc Mass—driving, atmospheric and meticulously well crafted—was being set. In 2013, Coates moved from Manchester to Berlin and dedicated himself to music completely."From my morning coffee till I went to bed," he said, "I'd be in my small room with my headphones. No gigs, no cash, just exploring Ableton, Native Instruments, Reaktor, experimenting with different ideas, finding my sound, seeing what I liked and what I didn't like." The work paid off. In 2015, impressed by his sound, Spencer Parker tapped Coates for an EP on Work Them Records." Soon his records were in demand from institutions like Soma Recordings and Len Faki's label, Figure. But Coates was most interested in his own label, SK_Eleven, a "highly personal" project named after his home postal code that remains the primary home for his music. The sound of Setaoc Mass has always stemmed off in many directions, with ambient, electro and experimental scattered across his EPs. Then came 2022's Horror Vacui, a debut album that made a clear artistic statement: with Setaoc Mass, techno is just the tip of the iceberg. A devotee of his music's history with no patience for nostalgia, Coates has absorbed techno's legacy, and is dedicated to pushing it forward. “Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022.”

Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her former residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT Nowadays and Bossa Nova Civic Club Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Berlin's Berghain, Tbilisi's Khidi, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout, Sustain-Release, Whole Festival , Draaimolen and The Great Beyond have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities. The saga continues with juicy bits on the horizon.Industrial on 1, Techno on 1, Acid on 1 and Minimal Techno on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesTheir RA profile lists L.A.G., Monday Off, On Board Music, Gradient and 3 more.Recently at Knockdown Center, Paragon, BASEMENT · often with Berghain, Ron Like Hell, Juana, none of them here that night

Spanish DJ and producer, Ne/Re/A, a fixture of Brooklyn's teeming techno ecosystem for more than 10 years, has a distinctly energetic approach to the genre - relentless groove and unapologetically timeless. In 2021, Ne/Re/A was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based queer party, MERGE, which has served as a musical home and has allowed her to explore the depths of her sonic palette alongside a sophisticated rolodex of the genre's legends. She has played alongside DVS1, Boris, Phase Fatale, Wata Igarashi, Takaaki Itoh and Ancient Methods (to name a few). She cut her teeth as the founder and resident DJ of Distrikt1, the monthly weeknight party at Brooklyn's historic Bossa Nova Civic Club. She's played reputable parties in New York - Unter, Wrecked, Bound and many nights at the city's premiere institutions in BASEMENT, Nowadays, and Paragon. She's played at Berlin's Tresor, Pornceptual, Gegen and at the iconic queer pilgrimage, Whole Festival, BULTO and Video Club in Colombia and Brutal in Mexico City. Her collaborative project, Name Names, with DC-based DJ and producer Juana explores the darker shades of her repertoire, where driving propulsive techno are at the forefront. In 2025, her prowess grows, Ne/Re/A makes her debut in Asia at Taiwan's highly-regarded Organik Festival and Seoul's Volnost, plays notable parties in New York like Wire Festival, Berlin and South America, and continues her residency with MERGE. As a producer Ne/Re/A sharply blends industrial and EBM with melodic techno into her own concoction - a heady assemblage of punch and drive. In 2025 she just released a collaborative track with Clarisa Kimskii in Phase Fatale's BITE record label. In 2024 she released two new tracks for Maison Fauna “In the Dark” and Infra “Piercing the veil”. In 2020, she released her first EP "Your World Took Your Future" on the Industrial Techno United imprint.
