Gabriel Rodriguez, known to the world as Elephantglasses, bursts onto the scene with the energy and heart of his beloved Jackson Heights, Queens. Raised amidst the colorful vibrancy of a Dominican household, Gabriel grew up with rhythm in his veins and melody in his soul. The multicultural pulse of Queens became the backdrop for his artistry, shaping a sound that is as diverse and dynamic as the streets he calls home. At just 14, Gabriel's love affair with music took root behind a drum kit, leading him to form a band with friends. It was in those formative years that he mastered the language of rhythm, crafting beats in basements and echoing his passion through New York City’s iconic venues. Those late-night jams weren’t just practice—they were the building blocks of a career driven by connection, expression, and raw emotion. As his artistry matured, so too did his musical vision. Gabriel found himself drawn to the magnetic pull of club music, swapping drumsticks for decks and transforming into Elephantglasses—a name as bold and distinctive as his sound. This new identity wasn’t just a shift; it was an evolution, blending the organic warmth of his roots with the high-energy pulse of electronic music. Every set he plays is an electrifying journey, a seamless fusion of culture, nostalgia, and futuristic beats. A proud member of the Kold Kutz collective, alongside creative powerhouses Blvck Truffle and Ardío Zemog, Gabriel pushes boundaries and redefines the dancefloor experience. From the underground vibes of TBA Brooklyn to the eclectic magic of Elsewhere, Elephantglasses creates unforgettable sonic landscapes, uniting bodies and souls in the rhythm of the night. Through pulsating basslines, uplifting melodies, and dynamic transitions, Gabriel’s sets aren’t just music—they’re stories. Each track pulses with authenticity, inviting listeners into a world where sound becomes emotion and the dance floor transforms into a shared heartbeat. For Gabriel, music isn’t just a career—it’s his purpose, his joy, and the universal language that turns strangers into family under the glow of the club lights.
