Shaped by years of going to the source—from NYC, Chicago and Detroit to Tokyo and other cities across Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia—immersing himself in underground scenes, learning directly from key figures and local communities, and performing on storied dance floors along the way, he has developed an authentic voice as a multidisciplinary artist on and off the floor. As a DJ, he crafts sets that are heavily informed by his background as a dancer: playful and daring, shifting in rhythm and pace across genres while being deeply rooted in queer lineages of house and club culture. An active member of the ballroom, whacking and house dance scenes, he draws on years of shared practice to give their movements and stories space at the center of the night, where they are lived rather than referenced. During his years in Copenhagen, he launched SPECTRA, a queer- and dance-centered club night and residency, and co-founded UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE, a sober dance and club initiative—projects that create spaces for genuine connection, joy and self-expression, keeping faith with the original promise of the dance floor. ~ REFERENCES [USA] New York City, NY ~ Good Room · Le Bain · Bossa Nova · Jupiter Disco · The Lot Radio Detroit, MI ~ Movement · Temple Bar · Underground Music Academy Chicago, IL ~ Smart Bar · Arbella [EUROPE] Berlin, DE ~ Sisyphos · Fusion Festival · Multisex · Renate · Refuge Worldwide Hamburg, DE ~ Queer Pool · Südpol Cologne, DE ~ Fi · Odonien · Zugvøgel Festival Munich, DE ~ Charlie Glasgow, UK ~ Stereo Edinburgh, UK ~ Sneaky Pete’s Copenhagen, DK ~ Jolene · Den Anden Side · Culture Box [ASIA] Tokyo / Osaka, JP ~ Mitsuki · Bridge · Aoyama Tunnel · Oath · Bonobo Seoul / Busan / Daegu, SK ~ Seoul Community Radio · Bolero · Output · OST Bangkok, TH ~ Safe Room Ho Chi Minh City, VN ~ The Lighthouse Manila, PH ~ XX XX · Circus 2020 FestivalTheir RA profile lists LIKE Recordings and Miura Records.often with materia hache, Triqi, elliephunk, none of them here that night

Nita is a noted member of the legendary House of Aviance. She started DJing around the turn of the millennium and was a resident at the infamous Mr. Black and Westgay, both touchstones for queer artistry and culture in downtown nightlife of the early 2000's. Will has deep roots in NYC club culture, having worked at The Loft and collaborated closely with David Mancuso, holding residencies at many of the downtown New York clubs over the years including The Limelight, Life and Vandam. After dividing his time between NYC and Paris, working on music with fashion houses such as Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood and Yves Saint Laurent, Will returned to DJing dance floors when he co-created SPANK with partners Sean B & Jason Roe. What started as a basement dance party evolved into a roving art-based warehouse party along with a namesake zine. SPANK began to work closely with Horse Meat Disco and the close relationship with that crew has extended in various forms through the years into the present. Currently, Nita and Will perform globally as both individual DJs and, more often, as a duo --they are most recognized for epic extended B2B sets and their wildly successful monthly queer party (also known as The Carry Nation) at Brooklyn's Good Room. Their range is wide and exciting, and in the New York tradition they effortlessly flow through genres and time periods while keeping a modern edge. Since the inception of The Carry Nation, the duo has toured the world extensively including Glastonbury’s Block 9 and Berlin’s Berghain/Panorama Bar among many others. They also have a residency at Ladyfag's flagship monthly Battle Hymn. As producers, their credits include releases and remixes on Get Up Recordings, Classic Music Company, TRIBAL, Nervous, TRAX, Batty Bass, TWIRL, W&O Street Tracks and more. Their latest venture is Major Records, an imprint they co-founded with Justin Cudmore to showcase their Majorettes collaboration with releases that are setting dancefloors alight with a fresh but classic house vibe that stays rooted in the excitement of New York’s history and underground.House on 28, Tech House on 7, Techno on 4 and Deep House on 5. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Nervous Records (2) and Cómeme (1); their RA profile also lists Batty Bass Records, HNYTRX, Twirl, Good Company Records and 1 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Knockdown Center, Good Room, Paragon · often with Kim Anh, Alissa Brianna, Mike Servito, none of them here that night
