MacKincey, or Actual Angel, is no stranger to Brooklyn nightlife. From her roots in event organizing at Mood Ring, she understands a good party. She spins ethereal, house inspired tracks, borrowing inspiration from various styles blending dream, trance, and electro pop. Her sets are dynamic and evenly-paced, offering space to dance while leaving room to breath. She has previously played for venues such as Nickys Unisex and Knitting Factory, and you can catch her on weekends at Abe’s Pagoda!Recently at Baby's All Right, Jupiter Disco, Rebecca's · often with Melona, Brutal Twink, Sheath, none of them here that night
“She is known for layering heavy, pummeling bass with ethereal, haunting textures -- evoking the ebb & flow of our her own life and establishing pleasure in it.”

She is known for layering heavy, pummeling bass with ethereal, haunting textures -- evoking the ebb & flow of our her own life and establishing pleasure in it. She hosts and organizes a party in Bushwick called Zeitgeist, featuring local artists and sounds that she affectionately refers to as "slutcore". As a self-taught artist in multiple mediums and inspired by her dual residence in Brooklyn and Berlin, her sound mirrors a similarly dynamic range, from high-octane breakcore to cheeky edits to hard dance.
