Originally from Toulouse, Lamache’s career started at a young age within the industry. Inspired by artists who, back then, and still today keep the underground electronic music scene thriving, he has quickly progressed amongst the ranks proving himself as a talented and versatile DJ. Moving first to Paris to study electronic music culture and sound engineering, the exposure to a wealth of new and unique sounds and environments led him to make the natural migration to London, the melting pot of music, artists and culture. Formerly a member of Toi Toi Musik collective, an established and admired party and label amongst music heavy weights that is based in London, his newest project has led him to Berlin where his focus remains on growing his potential in the studio and concentrating on developing his label ; Discobar. Two years young the record label has gone from strength to strength successfully hosting showcases across Europe as well as representing a talented group of artists from Odd Soul, The Mole, Toba, Ark, Zendid, Alex & Digby and Robin Ordell...Their RA profile lists Discobar.often with Trent Voyage, Eli Verveine, Alexander Skancke, none of them here that night

Alan Abrahams AKA Portable AKA Bodycode has been in motion his whole life—growing up in South Africa, coming of age in London, decamping to Lisbon and finally settling in Berlin—and his deeply syncopated brand of electronic dance music has evolved with every step of the journey. His formative years were spent in an impoverished Cape Town township ironically tagged “Beverly Hills”, and to the backbeat of the first wave of Chicago house records he emerged out of the ruins of a post-apartheid South Africa. Inspired musically, yet frustrated geographically, he relocated to London in 1997. In London, Abrahams began recording as Portable, the experimental, atmospheric project that acts a living link between the indigenous sounds of his youth, and those first records whose futuristic aesthetic broadened his horizons. He founded the Süd Electronic label with his partner Lerato and released a string of 12" releases. A succession of full-length albums followed - Cycling and Futuristic Experiments #005 on Background, Version on ~scape records, and the Powers of Ten for Süd Electronic in 2007. A rich and expansive record, Powers of Ten further explored his African heritage through a new lexicon of sonic influences, acquired from his time living in Portugal. Upon moving to Lisbon, Abrahams conceived of Bodycode, a more dancefloor-centric project that complements Portable’s headier textures with a more body-moving aesthetic. As Bodycode, Abrahams harnesses his desire to “unlock the psyche via the body,” layering tech-funk with wisps of melody, heady effects, and a liberal wash of otherworldly vocal samples. Somewhere between the beats for the body and melody for the soul, Abrahams believes, lies the Bodycode. The result was Bodycode’s first full-length, The Conservation of Electric Charge, a whirlwind of percussive, multi-layered techno released on Spectral Sound in 2006. After a three-year absence, Abrahams resurrected the moniker for second Spectral full-length, 2009’s Immune, an intricately textured album of vocal-laced house. “I just felt it a good time for a warm, nurturing aesthetic,” says Abrahams of Bodycode’s shift in tone, “We need that right now.”Their RA profile lists Perlon, Musik Krause, Circus Company, LMD and 4 more.often with Avalon Emerson, livwutang, Bobolino Rosso, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Legend has it that Hólmar was born under the winter solstice in the remote highlands of Iceland, to one of the Hidden People communes. His elvish mother passed during childbirth, and one snowy night he was discovered by sheep farmers in the valley below, with a note promising them protection of their flock if they raised him as their own. They agreed—wisely. His childhood was spent on the farm, swimming in mountain lakes with his adoptive mother until a national synchronized swimming coach, hiking nearby, spotted him mid-spin. Soon, young Hólmar was training in Reykjavik, on track for Olympic glory—until a career-ending injury ended his dreams, but launched him into another: dance. He formed the Black Widows troupe and toured Scandinavia, winning competitions and the hearts of audiences. His obsession with making show playlists led to impromptu DJ sets at underground parties—until he was unceremoniously kicked out of the troupe for prioritizing decks over dance rehearsals. Crushed but determined, he moved to New York, started throwing infamous parties in clubs across Manhattan, and co-founded Crack & Speed Records with his Parisian comrade Jef-K, releasing his first records under the monikers Mr. Negative & The Spencer Filipsson Experience. A fateful night at a former brothel on the Lower East Side led to his meeting with Greg Oreck—and the birth of Thugfucker. Their track “Disco Gnome” became the first release on Life and Death Records, and Hólmar spent the next decade touring with them and spreading mischief across the globe. Post-Thugfucker, Hólmar leaned into his inner Acid Tourist—a psychedelic transition that involved at least one synchronized dance in the desert, questionable fashion choices, and zero regrets. A beloved figure on the playa, he’s played transformative sets at Robot Heart, Distrikt, Pink Mammoth, and Mayan Warrior, weaving emotion, humor, and bass into dust-kissed memories that still echo across the sands. He launched new collaborations including Beauty/Beast with Philipp Jung, the supergroup Formerly with Anstascia, Philipp Jung, and Kenny Glasgow as well as projects like Lovestruckk with Nico Stojan, and Theory of Light with Brian Cid. He’s also the co-founder of We Give A Jam, a sonic relief movement in response to the Los Angeles wildfires, bringing together 50+ artists to raise funds via a global music community in partnership with Electronic Groove and Listed Bookings. With his first edit All is Full of Love (Acid Tourist and Rohan Aylan Re-Imagination) released on Acid Tourism, this is only the beginning.
