Musician and writer, Spurge deejays in a fashion that is often dialectical in nature - weaving opposing elements together to construct a singular, political experience - honoring the practice of storytelling through selection while enjoying the sport-like aspects of DJing too. His chameleonic perspective to mixing shirks genre, freeing Spurge to jump from dancehall to techno to rock to electro, disco, house, ambient to whatever’s clever.
