“Wyatt Stevens is at the forefront of a young Brooklyn scene that's taking the dance music world by storm.”

Wyatt Stevens is at the forefront of a young Brooklyn scene that's taking the dance music world by storm. Alongside friends and collaborators such as AceMo, Kush Jones, and DJ Swisha, he's created a genre-agnostic movement that celebrates all facets of Black electronic music, from old-school Detroit techno to the early days of jungle, drum & bass and more modern strains of American dance music. His HAUS Of ALTR label has become a hub for this community, releasing his own material as well as his critically acclaimed AceMoMA project with AceMo, and three massive compilations that define this new generation of producers. MoMA Ready makes dance music intuitively and without orthodoxy, where techno can suddenly morph into drum & bass and back again.Techno on 44, House on 37, Jungle on 16 and Deep House on 14. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on HAUS of ALTR (2) and Paraíso (1). labels on their catalogued releasesRecently at Nowadays, Knockdown Center, Mood Ring · often with Regal86, Dazegxd, AceMo, none of them here that night

“In the span of her journey, Niara has become an integral thread in the renaissance of music, community, style, and expression in New York.”
their own biography
the whole biography
In the span of her journey, Niara has become an integral thread in the renaissance of music, community, style, and expression in New York. Originally from Virginia, Niara's roots have heavily influenced her developing sound - from an array of massive basslines, melodic patterns, and throbbing kicks summed up in a soulful pulse. In New York, she's occupied spaces like Brooklyn Mirage, Good Room, House of Yes, Jupiter Disco, Le Bain, and Public Records spinning subgenres of House and Soul music. She's been proud to have shared decks with artists she admires such as Aluna, Easy Mo Bee, Full Crate, DJ Spinna, Rich Medina and more. Her gift has granted her access to the world, performing at festivals like Tropíco in Mexico or touring with Talib Kweli around the country and Switzerland. Niara has also toured for brands like Burberry and has DJ'd for other artists like Ari Lennox, Alxndr London, Masego, and Mosey Sumney. In 2020, Niara was featured in Essence magazine as a "spin doctor you need to know and cannot afford to be clueless about." In 2021, Niara made her second appearance on national TV on the OWN network. She performed original music for a tv special called Vital Voices of 2021, hosted by Oprah Winfrey. With many other notches on her belt, Niara is most proud of her evolving sound as she blossoms into her ideal producer. Her new residency NICHE is where you can trust her to experiment in her purest form. Expect her rhythmic selections to be submerged, vast, lush, and sometimes otherworldly.Recently at Elsewhere, SILO, Knockdown Center · often with Meedy, Cosmo, pizzi, none of them here that night
