DJ, producer, music supervisor, chef, and TV host – Matt FX is the definitive multihyphenate. Referred to as a “musical polymath” by Forbes and a “NYC nightlife institution” by VICE, he first shot to fame as the mind behind the soundtrack of the hit Comedy Central TV show BROAD CITY, as well as for his appearances on VICE News Tonight and the Food Network. No lightweight in the kitchen either, Matt co-founded "underground fried chicken sandwich racket" DUBPLATE NYC, dubbed the 'best fried chicken sandwich of all time' by Busboy.co As a DJ, Matt approaches each and every set with an irreverence that the New York Times calls “interesting social commentary on multiple levels” and has shared lineups with artists as varied as Soul Clap and Disclosure to Snoop Dogg and Demi Lovato. His latest projects include releases with Kitsune Musique, Wolf + Lamb, and Sorry Records, with plenty more slated for release over the next year.

“Michael’s love for DJing and music production started in Los Angeles at the early age of twelve and continued to ripen after completing a degree in Audio Engineering in San Francisco.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Michael’s love for DJing and music production started in Los Angeles at the early age of twelve and continued to ripen after completing a degree in Audio Engineering in San Francisco. His inherent passion for promoting and hosting events got thrown into the mix, founded on the importance of creating a space where people feel safe and can freely "dance like nobody's watching.” This methodology was the inspiration and concept for his brand and award-winning weekly party, Housepitality, going strong now for 21 years and becoming an institution for local, domestic and international artists, dancers and patrons in San Francisco. The brand has since expanded to Los Angeles, Chicago, and his new hometown, Brooklyn, New York. His greatest success to date is accredited to writing, producing, and performing live with the eclectic electronic ensemble, PillowTalk. Formed in the summer of 2011 in the Lower Haight district of San Francisco, PillowTalk's music fuses house, disco, classic R&B, soul, funk, and boogie with indie dance. With over ten releases including their 2018 sophomore album, “All People” and seven live tours around the globe, this project has received notoriety from fans, press, music venues, and festivals worldwide. Additional compositions and productions embodying his love for jazz, funk, R&B, and Latin rhythms can be found under his solo artist name, Michael Tello. His other live production/DJ duo, Signal Flow, has received praise for their collaborations with vocalists Kevin Knapp, Gustaph (Hercules and The Love Affair), Navid Izadi, Gretz and Michael Tello himself. Michaels new solo project, “Lil T,” signed to New York's Wolf + Lamb Records realizes an uncensored and deeper side to his productions with a slate of releases on Soul Clap Records, Uniting Souls Music and W+L. Along with some sonically pure remixes for Francesca Lombardo, Lee Curtis, Soul Clap, LowHeads plus much more cooking in the oven for 2020 which truly showcase this seasoned producer's variety and ability to make each song his own. With an extensive discography under his belt including releases on Life & Death, Visionquest, Crew Love, Wolf + Lamb, Kompakt, Jive, Culprit, Leftroom Limited, Om Records, Smoke N’ Mirrors and Roam Recordings, as well as remixes for Francesca Lombardo, Groove Armada, Kasper Bjork, DJ Tennis, HNQO, Laid Back, Soul Clap, W+L, Nick Monaco, Life On Planets, Lee Curtiss, Tone Of Arc, PillowTalk, Navid Izadi, Midnight Magic, Future Generations, Set Mo, B.Bravo and Lonely Boy, there is no doubt that Michael will continue doing what he loves and is most passionate about, music.

    the whole biography
Whether playing keyboards with PillowTalk or DJing solo at events like Houghton Festival and Love International, Shane’s diverse musical roots shine through in his song selection and technique. Growing up in New York City as a youth in the Metropolitan Opera, Shane cut his teeth mixing hip-hop and R&B records while studying classical piano & music theory at The Manhattan School of Music. Known for his eclectic closing-set each year at The Sunset Campout and annual Disco Knights slot at Burning Man, Shane’s skill lies in weaving together a wide range of genres and rhythms satisfying audiences from New York’s Panther Room to London’s Saatchi Gallery. Last year Shane was sponsored by Polaroid Originals headlining their opening party in Amsterdam. His summer tour was set to include Love International, Houghton, Dusk among others but the pandemic procured several livestreams instead including Diaries from the Underground with Holmar and several sets from Monarch in San Francisco under the “Songs for Lovers” moniker with partner, Alvaro Z. Shane has released music on Roam, Crew Love, and PillowTalk Music and will focus on more original music in 2023.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Connie Yin has been a major contributor to New York City’s underground electronic scene for almost 20 years. With a deep fluid mix of forward thinking 4/4 styles and a defined rhythmic sensibility that flows from her alter egos as a thumping rock drummer and newbie bass player, Connie is a steady crowd favorite and an accomplished pro who always brings the goods. Whether it is as resident DJ for ReSolute, one of the world’s hottest itinerant underground parties, or on the road touring from Brazil to Dubai, Connie’s aptitude and vigorous devotion to her craft have earned her turns alongside a litany of techno’s best. Connie uses her own success to inspire others to enter the world of DJing. To date she has privately trained 15 students. Connie has been producing electronic music since 2009, under the ‘Constar’ moniker as well as Connie Yin, with a dozen releases available digitally and on vinyl, under labels such as Bedrock Records. Currently, she is producing with long time friend Karina Chaczabian as C&K, with recent vinyl releases; and J Gabriel, on various projects. Connie’s love for music spans beyond electronic music; for the last 20 years, Connie has always been involved with at least one band at all times. Current live music projects include songwriting and drumming with post punk band Jilted Lover; playing bass guitar with rock/punk band Bricklip; creating techno synthpop in synth & machine heavy band Chic Choc; and playing keyboards and drums in Bover Cand - an 80s cover band....and also making music videos, her newfound passion. Connie also enjoys romantic strolls on the beach, candlelit dinners, and cuddling.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Hailing from the vibrant city of Marseille and rooted in the pure products of Madagascar, Lamalice's musical journey began amidst the harmonious notes of a family of musicians. Immersed in a traditional atmosphere, he discovered his passion during his formative years, navigating the worlds of Hip-Hop dance and drumming for a rock band. As the beats of adolescence reverberated, Lamalice seamlessly transitioned into the electronic realm, drawn by the allure of House dance—a close kin to the Hip-Hop movement that had initially captivated him. His trajectory unfolded over six years of residencies at renowned establishments like Spartacus Club and Baby Club, both esteemed references in the southern French music scene. These experiences allowed him to share stages with heavyweights of the international House and Techno scenes, sculpting his identity and honing his craft. Recent releases on labels such as Partisan, Positive Future, Sentaku, Shotgun, and Sticky Plastik have garnered acclaim from the press and received enthusiastic support from established figures in the underground music community. Lamalice's stylistic diversity and meticulous approach shine through, showcasing a musical journey that transcends boundaries. His affiliation with Sentaku Music, a record label, event organizer, and DJs crew founded by long-time friend Massai, signaled the birth of a new project: Smooth Operators. A DJ recognized for his finely curated and eclectic selections, Lamalice is also a devoted lover of jam machines. In the true spirit of his artistic universe—minimalistic, rhythmic, and hypnotic—he steps onto the dancefloor not only as a DJ but also as a live solo performer, creating an immersive experience for his audience. In French, someone with "malice" embodies astuteness and skill, possessing more than a single trick. Lamalice embraces this spirit in his project, continually enhancing his versatility and technique. Whether as a producer, DJ, or live performer, he artfully expresses his deeply rooted emotions, creating a seamless fusion of tradition and techno mastery. Lamalice embodies the essence of a true musical artisan, crafting a narrative that transcends genres and captivates audiences...
