Madam X has spent the last decade reshaping the UK underground as a genre-defying DJ and visionary behind her KAIZEN imprint. Driven by a fierce desire to innovate and a passion for the off-kilter, she’s earned her place as one of the most respected figures in contemporary club music. Her 2024 debut EP Homecoming is a powerful statement of that vision. An expertly crafted release that celebrates her musical roots in rave culture & the 10-year anniversary of KAIZEN, Homecoming pays tribute to the sounds that ignited her passion for the underground while maintaining her commitment to pushing boundaries and rejecting trends. Garnering support from the likes of Jamie XX, Laurent Garnier, and James Blake, with lead track Hoodlum FC rapidly infiltrating playlists & festival sets, few DJs can claim such a monumental response to a debut. Rooted in the pressure of Dubstep & the propulsion of Techno, her bass-driven sets are a masterclass in storytelling, propelled by purposeful intent, sub-heavy drums, and raw energy. Designed for small basements with big sound systems. Through her KAIZEN label and clubnight, she’s helped elevate some of the most exciting, forward-thinking voices in club music, with releases from the likes of Walton, Biome and Cartridge, earning critical acclaim. With a six-year residency on NTS, a tenure on BBC Radio 1, and her monthly show on Athens’ Stegi Radio, when she’s not hosting radio, Madam X tours globally as one of the world’s most in-demand DJs. But it’s not just music that defines Madam X. During the pandemic, she pivoted to create MDMXERCISE, an innovative fusion of music and fitness, designed in collaboration with her sister. Hosting online workout classes, paired with exclusive DJ mixes from an allstar lineup of Hudson Mohawke, Sherelle, Sally C to name a few, offered a unique sense of connection during a time of isolation—a true testament to her ability to adapt & remain connected to her community. From releasing vinyl to hosting genre-defying sets that refuse to follow any blueprint, Madam X continues to push the boundaries of what club music can be. As she continues to evolve and innovate, Madam X enters what feels like her heritage era, driven by the same spirit of KAIZEN—’continual improvement’ & a relentless pursuit of progress. With her eyes firmly set on the future, she remains committed to breaking boundaries, reshaping the underground, and paving the way for the next wave of creative voices.Their RA profile lists Kaizen.Recently at Fine & Raw Chocolate Factory, The Chocolate Factory, House of Yes · often with Bella Mode, EDICA+, Star Eyes, none of them here that night

the whole biography
From a cacophony of grimy acid to severe electro and voracious EBM, Gina’s DJ style is a daring amalgamation of strict beats and slick sensibilities. Her spectrum of music knowledge—including italo rarities, rave classics and goth anthems—foster a forward-thinking palette of mechanized sound that’s never confined to any singular genre. Even though her sets pulse with brash attitude, there’s an innate delicacy in her pacing that creates passionate, spellbinding moments in the thralls of each set. Unsurprisingly so, Gina has formed her own community as the booker at Philly’s dance institutions The Dolphin and formerly The Barbary. It’s here, in the tempestuous, dark enclaves of these clubs, that she’s fostered a thirst for an energy that’s both debaucherous and electrifying. Her commitment in this pursuit has led G I N A to expand to a residency at Brooklyn’s new hot spot, Gabriela, as well as the parties Rhythm Of The Night, Shadowplay, Darker Disco, Fvtvre Favorite and DJ sets on The Lot Radio, Boiler Room & Rinse FM, where her debut was chosen as Resident Advisor's Mix of the Day. Additionally, she’s released her own dynamic tracks on Magic City, Synthicide & Bound NYCTheir RA profile lists Bound, Synthicide and Magic City.Recently at Gabriela, Bossa Nova Civic Club, House of Yes · often with Andi, Sissies of Mercy, Eli Escobar, none of them here that night
