Drawing from a wide range of influences across space, time, and medium, her sets unfold as collages that embrace and sublate the contradiction of It All. A resident DJ at Brooklyn’s DIY warehouse party Tossd and one half of Bossa Nova Civic Club’s DAYTONA 500 alongside Eva Loveless, she is firmly rooted in New York—but remains in active dialogue with the American underground, moving fluidly between scenes across the country.Their RA profile lists Framework NY.Recently at Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Nowadays · often with Sevyn Love, Giovannii, Blessing, none of them here that night
“When she DJ’s, her sets range widely, focused on bass music elementals: hard-hitting percussion, wobbly basslines, dub-inflected textures serving to center bass music as body music.”

When she DJ’s, her sets range widely, focused on bass music elementals: hard-hitting percussion, wobbly basslines, dub-inflected textures serving to center bass music as body music. Her enthusiasm for low-end-focused psychedelia has brought her to NYC institutions Nowadays, Public Records, Paragon plus radio appearances on The Lot Radio, Rinse FM, and Kindred. At Bossa Nova Civic Club, Eva is a resident DJ with her b2b partner DJ DEADNAME as DAYTONA 500. Brooklyn selector Coyado builds heat from the ground up—heavy dub pressure, Latin percussion, and club constructions designed for bodies in motion. His sets move with intention, layering the low-end rumble of soundsystem culture against the polyrhythmic snap of dembow and cumbia, finding pockets where Caribbean bassweight and New York grit lock into the same groove. Coming up through the city’s underground circuit—each set is another chance to test how far the fusion can stretch without losing its center of gravity.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Rash, The End · often with p1nkstar, Josh Steers, ALEXIS DE LA ROSA, none of them here that night
