Leaning into the hypnotic, the tension-building, and the euphoric release—Lolsnake (she/they) does not simply play to a room, she creates it. With a fluid, genre-defiant approach, her sets move between the reduced and the raw, the dramatic and the unpredictable, stirring up heady atmospheres and hypnotic moods on the dancefloor. Driving rhythms and intricate sound design sit alongside moments of startling emotional depth — a sonic signature that is at once intense and deeply feeling, cerebral and magnetically unpredictable. A regular at Berghain, Lolsnake is also the founder of Weeeirdos, a queer platform that champions subversive joy, curiosity, and community. As a DJ and visual artist, her multifaceted background fuels a perspective that is both boundary-pushing and deeply rooted in connection — her sets a constant balance between classic dancefloor accessibility and a desire to push at the edges of genre convention. In 2025, Lolsnake took her sound global, performing at Bassiani (Tbilisi), Basement NYC, WHOLE Festival, and returned to Berghain for several celebrated sets that reflected her evolving sonic palette. Her genre-crossing energy has also been showcased in guest mixes for Mixmag, DJ Mag, The Lot Radio, and Crack Magazine. Weeeirdos, which began in 2017 as a hybrid event combining live music, performance and visual art, has since become one of Berlin's most vital queer dance platforms. In 2023, it moved from OHM to a residency at Säule (Berghain). That same year, Boiler Room invited Lolsnake to curate a Weeeirdos live stream from Berlin's dungeon-like Nåpoleon Komplex. Lolsnake has since been asked to curate key events on the Berghain Mainfloor, The Ground (Space) Miami, Radion Amsterdam, and more. Born in California to Iraqi parents and raised in Oakland, Lolsnake's musical roots trace back to classical training in clarinet, saxophone, and bass clarinet. Her teenage years were shaped by a love of Depeche Mode, Underworld, The Knife, and the Arabic tapes of Oum Kalthoum and Fairouz. A move to Manchester in 2010 to study neuroscience immersed her in the UK's DIY rave scene. Berlin followed in 2014, where she found a deep sense of belonging in the city's queer nightlife. After a decade in Berlin, Lolsnake's sets have matured into shimmering constellations of rhythm — reduced and raw one moment, warm and euphoric the next, with mischievous curveballs at just the right moment. With plans to launch the Weeeirdos label and take the project on a global tour, she remains a powerful force in contemporary club culture: driven by feeling, rooted in community, and guided by no rules but her own.

“Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs. The Bound founder and Basement resident has spent the last decade and changed pushing a singular vision of wild, uncompromising rave power. Fusing throbbing techno, ripping hardgroove, key selections from NY’s vibrant underground and nods to her foundational loves - goth & industrial - Rex has developed a well-earned reputation for turning the dancefloor on its head. Her sets move with the perfect balance of precision and controlled chaos, transmuting a gleefully grungy menace into liberatory catharsis. Rex’s career began in Philadelphia where, in true DIY spirit, she began organizing parties around a key, glaring gap. Factory Girls was Rex’s first party series, an all-femme party that highlighted some of the 2010’s most vital new artists and helped point the way forward out of an oppressively male-focused monoculture. Word spread quickly, and early alliances with NY’s Discwoman drew Rex up to NY more and more. A few short years later she found herself at the center of a cultural renaissance. Regular sets at the revered, secretive Unter party, close ties with Bossa Nova Civic Club, and in 2016, the first edition of Bound all came quickly, and Rex’s position in the culture was soon indisputable. Bound has become Rex’s calling card: a NY-based, nationally produced kink party that seeks to redefine the form. Landing at the revered institution Basement, as one of the inaugural residencies at the club in 2019. As with Factory Girls, Bound pushes back against the ensconced patriarchal power dynamics that have made many femme and queer people feel unwelcome. It instead creates a space that is directly, unapologetically for those groups, with outstanding artists to boot. Rex’s DJing at these parties inevitably sets the standard; her capacity to both wield music of brutal power and craft an immersive, captivating, even joyful journey embodies the entire ethos of the night. Through this passion for amplifying artists, Rex created a boutique label featuring releases from Dax J, Silent Servant, Terence Fixmer, Bored Lord, Kilbourne, Ireen Amnes, Kontravoid, and more. After a 6 year Lot Radio residency, featuring a host of guests including VTSS, Rebekah, Sedef Adasï, Akua, Silent Servant, and Hyperaktivist, Bound release a new mix series In 2025. Rex has become an international presence, with regular gigs across the States and overseas. Her sets have been sought after beyond the club by Boiler Room and luxury houses Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Burberry, and Parfums de Marley. Press features in Vogue, The Face, Paper Magazine, Document Journal, Vice, The New Yorker, and Nylon Magazine have lauded her as the face of a new wave in nightlife culture. As her vision has come to shape US nightlife, the power of her music has only become more honed and riveting. What’s come before is only the beginning.

“Expect to hear everything present in the consciousness of DJ Voices during one of her performances.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Expect to hear everything present in the consciousness of DJ Voices during one of her performances. For the past decade, the Brooklyn-based DJ has been cutting a deeper path through the party, a committed distributor of new sound and undefined genres. “Crazy music” you could call it. (She does.) In a time of homogenized cultural zones and drip-fed algorithmic taste, DJ Voices is an artist specializing in something deep(er). Her sets—free-range, roving, topographic and ecstatic— are free of the usual moderating impulses. They aren’t necessarily built to offer shelter or reassurances. But more of a story: The one about our cracked future-present and its radiating potential. It’s a story that DJ Voices (real name: Kristin Malossi) has been steadily exploring through her work, currently as a resident at The Lot Radio and formerly as a resident at Nowadays, where she also worked as a booker for seven years. Her presence in the Brooklyn electronic community has expanded its contours towards curiosity and exploration and pleasure, but also unafraid of challenge. Take one example: she may be the only DJ with an active book club, “Late Nites Book Club.” The regular reading group hosted by Malossi takes up writing across genre and topic, such as aesthetics, death, rave culture, and sonics. Fitting, given that the Florida-born DJ has become an outspoken voice on contemporary club culture, candidly articulating the variety of sensations and techniques of the dance floor experience. For Voices, club spaces can also serve as cites of discovery and experimentation; “the dance floor is my classroom” you might often hear her say. And it’s best to keep that in mind as you head into a Voices set, as class will most certainly be in session.
