their own biography
the whole biography
Oakland’s Lil Zé (@aquanettalashangelaboo) arrived from space bringing along with them sounds from across the universe and the African and Black diaspora. Heavy drums, vocal chants, loud energy, are both the destination and the journey - making it impossible not to move to her genre-defying music history lessons. Catch her mixing on Lower Grand Radio, Fault Radio or listen back to her mixes for NTS, Dublab, Cult Classic, Balamii Radio.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Rash, Mood Ring · often with Papi Weli, Powla, Ianko, none of them here that night
