    the whole biography
Born & raised in San Francisco, CA, Zak Zodiak is a multi-disciplinary artist with a special love for dance, Capoeira, video, and DJing. In 2018 he encountered the House Music & dance scenes in the Bay Area through his initial teachers Coflo & Tsunami, and would then discover DJs such as Patrick Wilson, Nina Sol & PSoul (Elements Oakland), Jayvi Velasco (AfterAfter Hours), and David Harness (Mighty Real). After visiting NYC for the nightlife scene multiple times since 2021, captured by parties like Soul in the Horn & Shelter, in August 2023 he left his hometown for Brooklyn to dig deeper into the NYC club culture. Since then, he’s supported Rare Jordan’s ‘Forever Rare’ party as a content & media manager, hosted for Tyrone Francis’ BKNY party, and is a resident DJ with LoveCity’s Madness parties. He is also a member of the Bed-Stuy based DJ collective, Von Kings. He continues to work with his beloved Elements crew back in the Bay as a content creator & videographer.
