Emerging as Phase Fatale in 2014, Berlin-based DJ, producer and label owner, Hayden Payne is rewriting the discourse of Techno with his cross-pollination of gnarly basslines, sensual narratives and mind-control mechanics. Demonstrating his vision through an authentic, highly curated sonic-lens of techno, the New York native’s rhythmic excursions draw on his roots in the underground scenes of his respective cities as well as his reputable experience performing to dancefloors globally. Exemplified by long-standing tenures as a resident for esteemed institutions such as Berlin’s Berghain, KHIDI in Georgia's capital Tbilisi, and queer New York collective Merge, Payne demonstrates a resolute understanding of harnessing club synergy across his productions and DJ sets. With three full length albums under his belt, including the 2020 sophomore release ‘Scanning Backwards’ on Berghain’s imprint Ostgut Ton, Payne’s sonic signature pushes the boundaries of techno sensibilities and reflects the zeitgeist whilst staying true to his own vision. Wasting no time since his solo project’s inception to showcase his expert sonic ability, Payne has toured throughout Europe performing at renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, releasing numerous records on labels including Jealous God, Ostgut Ton, and his own label BITE. Hailing from post-punk roots, Payne draws on his depth of musical knowledge and multitude of influences. His merging of nuanced references and high concept narratives remain geared towards the dancefloor at its core, subtleties of his multifarious sonic palette act as the foundations for his layered wall of sound. Payne launched the BITE imprint in 2018 as a means to platform cutting-edge sound production across a diverse roster of international artists. Along with fellow Soft Crash protagonist Pablo Bozzi pioneering ‘Italo Body Music’, BITE’s seminal synthesis of curated techno solidifies the label as a tour de force taste-maker within electronic music with showcases worldwide including Berghain and their 5 year anniversary compilation ‘Shedding Skin’ in 2023.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Hospital Productions, Jealous God, Falling Ethics and 4 more.Recently at BASEMENT, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with Berghain, Roi Perez, Auspex, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Sharlese is a Seattle-based DJ and radio host who thrives on the unexpected, crafting elegant dialogues between genres—from electro and EBM to Italo and techno. She has earned a reputation for weaving intricate, emotionally charged sets on dance floors around the world, with appearances at Tresor, Panorama Bar, Nowadays, MÜLL SF, and Grauzone. Her acclaimed DJ mixes for respected platforms such as KIHDI, BITE, and Pi Pi Pi shine a light on darker, often overlooked sonic realms. For the past 18 years, Sharlese has been an integral part of KEXP, where she currently serves as Producer for The Afternoon Show, Programming Education Manager, and host of Mechanical Breakdown—a program dedicated to off-the-cuff, boundary-pushing underground music. She began DJing in 2012 as a resident at Seattle’s industrial wave event, an experience that—along with hosting shows at Electric Tea Garden—laid the foundation for her live event series False Prophet. For nearly a decade, the series has supported both emerging and established artists, including ADULT., Nuovo Testamento, Xeno & Oaklander, Kris Baha, and Spike Hellis. Sharlese also curates Audiodrome, a monthly party held on the second Saturday at the historic Pony in Seattle. The event explores a wide spectrum of styles—Italo, wave, synth, and electro—and has hosted artists such as Franz Scala, Josh Cheon (Dark Entries), and Beau Wanzer. Audiodrome is streamed live via Intergalactic.fm. In addition to her event work, Sharlese holds residencies with the PNW techno collective secondnature, at Massive Club in Seattle’s Capitol Hill, and on Mutant Radio—an independent online radio station and music platform based in Tbilisi, Georgia—further underscoring her dedication to underground music and her unwavering commitment to making bodies dance.Recently at Nowadays, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Paragon · often with Helena Hauff, Saia, K Wata, none of them here that night
“Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022.”

the whole biography
Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her former residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT Nowadays and Bossa Nova Civic Club Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Berlin's Berghain, Tbilisi's Khidi, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout, Sustain-Release, Whole Festival , Draaimolen and The Great Beyond have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities. Spanish DJ and producer, Ne/Re/A, a fixture of Brooklyn's teeming techno ecosystem for more than 10 years, has a distinctly energetic approach to the genre - relentless groove and unapologetically timeless. In 2021, Ne/Re/A was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based queer party, MERGE, which has served as a musical home and has allowed her to explore the depths of her sonic palette alongside a sophisticated rolodex of the genre's legends. She has played alongside DVS1, Boris, Phase Fatale, Wata Igarashi, Takaaki Itoh and Ancient Methods (to name a few). She cut her teeth as the founder and resident DJ of Distrikt1, the monthly weeknight party at Brooklyn's historic Bossa Nova Civic Club. She's played reputable parties in New York - Unter, Wrecked, Bound and many nights at the city's premiere institutions in BASEMENT, Nowadays, and Paragon. She's played at Berlin's Tresor, Pornceptual, Gegen and at the iconic queer pilgrimage, Whole Festival, BULTO and Video Club in Colombia and Brutal in Mexico City. Her collaborative project, Name Names, with DC-based DJ and producer Juana explores the darker shades of her repertoire, where driving propulsive techno are at the forefront. In 2025, her prowess grows, Ne/Re/A makes her debut in Asia at Taiwan's highly-regarded Organik Festival and Seoul's Volnost, plays notable parties in New York like Wire Festival, Berlin and South America, and continues her residency with MERGE. As a producer Ne/Re/A sharply blends industrial and EBM with melodic techno into her own concoction - a heady assemblage of punch and drive. In 2025 she just released a collaborative track with Clarisa Kimskii in Phase Fatale's BITE record label. In 2024 she released two new tracks for Maison Fauna “In the Dark” and Infra “Piercing the veil”. In 2020, she released her first EP "Your World Took Your Future" on the Industrial Techno United imprint. “Electric is the only way to describe Andi’s sets.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Electric is the only way to describe Andi’s sets. The NYC-based DJ, producer, and SYNTHICIDE label/party boss constructs a dynamic and intoxicating flow that’s always palpable between the walls of the foggy, neon-lit dancefloor. Parts sleaze and sultry, Andi’s aesthetic is body music based, thriving on the delivery of the groove and the bombastic highs of a track’s apex. As a devotee of distinct sounds such as EBM, new beat, Italo, freestyle and housey 90s elements, her sets reflect her deep vinyl collection: diverse, yet focused, and completely one-of-a-kind. Her own productions aim to challenge the expectations within the confines of traditionally masculine dance genres. With bassline-heavy grooves and a conceptual emphasis on storytelling with samples taken from long-forgotten erotic thrillers and seedy sci-fi films, Andi adds a wry yet delicate touch to machine music. As the boss of SYNTHICIDE—the internationally known party, label and event series—Andi has cultivated the dark underground scene for over a decade in Brooklyn. SYNTHICIDE started at the notorious club in Bushwick, Bossa Nova Civic Club, where the party still holds a monthly residency. Additionally, Andi is a resident at The Lot Radio and NYC’s Gabriela.EBM on 13, Techno on 9, Industrial on 7 and New Beat on 5. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Eskimo Recordings (2), Dischi Autunno (1) and Surface Reality Records (1); their RA profile also lists Mannequin, aufnahme + wiedergabe, Mecanica, Synthicide and 1 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at H0L0, House of Yes, Earthly Delights · often with Eli Escobar, Facets, Rok One, none of them here that night

“Kendal—the French producer, DJ and Ritmo Fatale label boss—has mastered the art of synthetic seduction.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Kendal—the French producer, DJ and Ritmo Fatale label boss—has mastered the art of synthetic seduction. Known for his productions such as “Come to Me,” “Basorexia,” “Techno Positivo,” and “Set Me Free,” he merges nostalgia with futurism, a magnetic concoction that is completely his own. His DJ sets, where flesh merges with the machine, weave elements of italo-disco, trance and EBM into euphoric moments. Here, the alchemic charm of Kendal is best understood within the transcendent spectacle of his sets, ones that uplift and mesmerize from start to finish. Ritmo Fatale, the five-year strong label, has become one of Europe’s most respected and desired amongst dance devotees. Emphasizing the “no past, no present, no future” motto, the label has given a platform to newcomer artists who share the same vision: to give new life to rousing aspects of 80s and 90s elements. Because of this, Ritmo Fatale has released a slew of dancefloor anthems combined with strong imagery—an aesthetic that is instantly recognizable. Between his own work and the label, Kendal has shown a spotlight on his home-base of Toulouse while simultaneously touring Europe on the regular and expanding internationally to North America and Australia. The dedication of his fanbase in France brings a consistent following all over the country, especially in his stronghold of Paris, where he has sold out the entirety of his events, such as at the prestigious La Machine du Moulin Rouge (where he holds his Ritmo Fatale residency), Badaboum and Trabendo clubs. Kendal’s collaborative efforts, both in production and B2B sets, garnered widespread acclaim—including a Boiler Room with his former duo Infravision—alongside his original solo performances at venues such as Theatre Chatelet with a violin quartet tribute to John Carpenter and a set inside Atomium Brussels for Arte concert. Drawing from the spirit of the past, Kendal injects a fresh excitement to the pulse of dance music by propelling the underground scene straight into the hearts of widespread audiences.Their RA profile lists Permanent Vacation, Moustache Records and Ritmo Fatale.often with Martyn, Ksenyeah, rrao, none of them here that night
