Initially it felt fairly easy to pin down the Man Power project when it started off in 2014 with a bunch of growling slo mo techno records on the likes of Correspondant, Hivern Discs and Infiné. However in the intervening decade we’ve seen Geoff Kirkwood continually confound expectations, whether it be via releasing Disco and Italo records (Stamp / SKINT / Eskimo), Detroit leaning Techno (Sound As, DFA, Ene Japan), straight-up House Music (Rekids, Make A Dance, ESP Institute) or, more often than not, weirdo mutations of all of those sounds and more on an impressively wide range of big and small labels. All of this before we even get into his Techno Alias MPX, his 2 Experimental Ambient albums as Bedwetter, and his creation of a full blown Orchestral Symphony with the Royal Northern Sinfonia. Since almost the very start of the project, Man Power has been found applying this mercurial method regularly as a DJ at clubs and festivals across the world ranging from the candy coloured excesses of Burning Man Festival, to the lights-off mystery of Panorama Bar, and all points in-between. Making appearances at everything from institutions like Glastonbury, Rex Club Paris, Love International, Nitsa Barcelona, Vent Tokyo, Amnesia Ibiza and Elsewhere Brooklyn, to nameless warehouses, pub-raves, pop-ups and guerrilla parties across the UK, Europe, Central & South East Asia, The USA and Latin America. In many ways it feels as though it’s taken the last 10 years just for Kirkwood to be able to get some way towards revealing the full scope of his musical breadth both as a producer and as a DJ, but despite the somewhat open-ended approach to genre it’s still possible to pick out common threads in his choices. Throughout the Man Power project there has always been an openly earnest and emotive undercurrent that is often tempered by a contrary tendency towards the arch or absurd, and while cinematic sonics and narrative indulgences are frequent motifs, they often rub shoulders with a raw, direct and unpretentious approach that arguably borders on the naïve. At the heart of it all, whether making music, playing music, releasing other people’s music via his Me Me Me label, or throwing parties around the world, the Man Power project is simply an example of someone authentically trying to explore the full extent of their creative self, and doing so in way that may not be for everyone, but which is deeply meaningful and compelling to those who feel things the same way that he does.

Moderna's style is described as a dark heady blend of Techno, Dark Disco, Elektro, and Acid with wrought darkened vocals that has become her signature distinction. Beginning at a young age in a noise band, 'The Static Cult', she quickly fell in love with her passion for an underground unique sound. After several years working closely with Indie electronic label Ghostly International she naturally moved on to her own works, which has gained worldwide recognition and underground appeal. She is sought after internationally with dj performances at clubs and parties such as Womb Tokyo, Rex Club Paris, Kater Blau Berlin, Poland’s Garbicz Festival and Topaz Deluxe, Bar Americas and Sunday Sunday in Mexico. Now residing in Berlin the Los Angeles transplant gained momentum in Europe while working on new productions, touring and focusing her energy on hybrid label and radio show ‘Brave New Rave’ which is the home of her debut Album "The Future Is Among Us" Out Now on all platforms. Her discography also includes 4 EPs with Mexican-based artist Theus Mago which are on French label La Dame Noir and Barcelona based label This Side Up. With the latest releases on Mexico based DURO. Amongst several remixes her latest being ‘Bullet Time’ for The Matrix 4 Soundtrack by Tom Tykwer on Warner Brothers Records
Their RA profile lists Eskimo Recordings, Kill The DJ, Warner Music (UK), Roam Recordings and 6 more.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Acid Eastern is a live electronic music project created by NYC DJs / producers David Kiss and Material Witness. As veterans of the NYC nightlife scene, they’re each responsible for some of the most psychotic party experiences over the last decade: Rinsed, Coke Yacht, and Things Might Get Weird, and met in 2015 as part of a group of creatives collaborating on the legendary ‘Don’t Sleep’ rave. Shortly after, they bonded over a love of Jodorowsky, bathhouses, dolphins, and of course, acid. Their live performances have evolved over the last 2 years via a monthly residency at House Of Yes; 7-hour marathon performances infused with dirty bass guitar, 303 acid lines, undisputed drum grooves, and moody vocals, all devolving into sound baths heralded by the beloved Lady Gonga, a giant gong. They are always joined by their absurdist friends and performers who utilize butoh, typewriters, and meditation, to keep Æ from flying off the rails and tearing a hole in the universe. As DJs, Æ have been anointing dance floors with trance-inducing journeys of psychedelic acid-house and crunchy-electro, accompanied by ever-present performers and muses, who invite any and all to join as acolytes of dance and time dilation. They are currently the resident performers at the Onyx Room at House Of Love, a monthly fetish party at House Of Yes in Brooklyn, where they play all night on the last Friday of every month.
