Who they are
“Electric is the only way to describe Andi’s sets.”

Electric is the only way to describe Andi’s sets. The NYC-based DJ, producer, and SYNTHICIDE label/party boss constructs a dynamic and intoxicating flow that’s always palpable between the walls of the foggy, neon-lit dancefloor. Parts sleaze and sultry, Andi’s aesthetic is body music based, thriving on the delivery of the groove and the bombastic highs of a track’s apex. As a devotee of distinct sounds such as EBM, new beat, Italo, freestyle and housey 90s elements, her sets reflect her deep vinyl collection: diverse, yet focused, and completely one-of-a-kind. Her own productions aim to challenge the expectations within the confines of traditionally masculine dance genres. With bassline-heavy grooves and a conceptual emphasis on storytelling with samples taken from long-forgotten erotic thrillers and seedy sci-fi films, Andi adds a wry yet delicate touch to machine music. As the boss of SYNTHICIDE—the internationally known party, label and event series—Andi has cultivated the dark underground scene for over a decade in Brooklyn. SYNTHICIDE started at the notorious club in Bushwick, Bossa Nova Civic Club, where the party still holds a monthly residency. Additionally, Andi is a resident at The Lot Radio and NYC’s Gabriela.EBM on 13, Techno on 9, Industrial on 7 and New Beat on 5. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Eskimo Recordings (2), Dischi Autunno (1) and Surface Reality Records (1); their RA profile also lists Mannequin, aufnahme + wiedergabe, Mecanica, Synthicide and 1 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Dead Letter No. 9, Telephone · often with Eli Escobar, Arvin T, Danny White, none of them here that night

New York-based Facets has a passion for all things dark synth, leftfield, techno, electro, new beat, EBM, acid, italo-disco, trance, and beyond. Facets' music has been described as "made for the sweaty confines of the dancefloor's fog-filled spaces—ones that flicker with strobes and neon lights, alight from the energy of the crowd." Hot on the heels of his recent releases on Optimo Music, KRI, Dischi Autunno, Ombra International, Skylax, Soil Records, Khoinix, and Electric Shapes. More original music from Facets will be out soon on Sonic Groove, Pinkman, and more. Over the years, Facets has been releasing edits on his personal channel and other outlets such as Calypso's 12" edits Correcciones series, Blkmarket’s vinyl-only Party Edits, Slow Motion, Death on Wax, Amor Fati, Hard Fist, Italo Moderni, Deep House Amsterdam, and more.
