The globally-prolific Brazilian-born, Lisbon-based DJ and producer moved to Barcelona in 2015 to be nearer the European dance music circuit – a scene that had grown fond of her hypnotic and melodic techno released on a range of vital labels from Drumcode to Plus 8, Mute Records to Afterlife. Her summer 2019 hit 'Forever Ravers' with Miss Kittin on Kompakt lit up dancefloors around the globe and became a pandemic anthem while her powerful, driving productions continued to evolve and enrich her sound with every new track, often distinctively infused with an ambient essence that served as a primer for her shift towards the ambient music world. Anna is now twenty plus years into a celebrated and highly revered career, one that had elevated her from the dancefloors of Six – the nightclub her father owned in the rural outskirts of São Paolo, and where she first cut her teeth behind the decks. ANNA was – and remains – every bit the sought-after techno superstar - she continues to perform at some of the world’s most esteemed clubs including DC10, Hi, Printworks and Warung and takes to the stage at iconic festivals ranging from Movement to Tomorrowland, TimeWarp to Coachella. In the last years, she’s delivered classic crossover remixes for the likes of Jon Hopkins, Orbital and, now, her huge rework of Depeche Mode’s ‘My Cosmas Is Mine’ – which the band embraced hugely despite it not even being a selected single from their 2023 album. It was granted Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune on its debut radio play on BBC Radio 1. Anna has been a DJ since she was 14 year’s old. “I experimented with all styles in the beginning. After some time, I found my identity and it was techno. I became focused on my career 100 percent of the time. I would practice for ten hours a day, and I was always researching and planning,” she says. It’s this drive – an incessant desire to “make better music and be more creative” – that led her to a neurofeedback centre in Germany in October 2017. This is where she took the vital next steps in her self-realisation journey – opening her mind and forever altering her creative process and worldly outlook in the process. This would eventually lead to the creation of her debut ambient album ‘Intentions’ (released with Mercury KX through Decca this year), which sees her trading in her club-driven production for sound healing and ambient sensibilities. “I left the centre totally surrendered to spirit and to my soul. I thought, ‘What is it that life wants to pass through me?’” She'd long been interested in spirituality and utilised meditation as a tool for recentring for some time. However, it had never been her main focus. These days, she is fully committed to following the course as well as other forms of spiritual and meditative practice – including Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana (“You're in your process; you don't speak to anyone, and you meditate for 10 hours a day”), and Shamanic energy healing training. After the course in Germany, she started to experience things differently. Classical music is something she discovered a passion for after opening herself up to a more contemplative and love-filled way of life. Ambient, too. In fact, her ‘Intentions’ journey started with ANNA experimenting with sounds and frequencies to use as a tool in her meditations and contemplative moments. Using pianos and flutes; and sound healing techniques, she’d listen to these works – these soundscapes for self-realisation – while exploring the world. The outside world, of course (both touring and nature itself remain fruitful sources of inspiration) but also the inner. This debut album includes a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning artist Jon Hopkins; long-time ambient guru Laraaji and contemporary ambient artist East Forest. Their acceptance of Anna’s ambient project is a result of the power of the music. It is her understanding of how the Techno and Ambient worlds can sit side by side that makes it feel so natural. “I am everything. I am the stillness, the chaos, the light. I'm combining these worlds. I am bringing this more open and spiritual side to my techno side, so that everything becomes one.” In doing so, ANNA’s found a way to channel her emotional empathy and crowd-reading talents into her current output across her two musical careers. Anna’s very own name is a palindrome and her career is now the same: two worlds, one true artist.

Andhim – new boys in town It was spring 2010 when the cologne natives decided to kick their ass into gear and get out of their Studio to bring their beats to the world. Less than 12 months later Andhim were voted in the top-ten German newcomers of Groove and Raveline Magazine and their records were found in the cases and remix-wishes of many unknown and famous DJ’s alike. Their sound, which they self describe as “Super House” has become its very own genre built from their soul and passion. Andhim’s unique sound, party proven and of reduced nature, is organic with an emphasis in the finer detail. The boys grassroots flow from Hip-Hop, and they work mainly with samples which makes their tracks one of a kind. This individuality has earned them a home with Labels such as Monaberry, Terminal M, Sunset Handjob or Get Physical. When performing live one can really feel the full commitment and passion of the boys.Energetic, creative and always entertaining, they present their very own interpretation of electronic dance music that makes dads cheer and mums scream. The boys see the record player as their instrument, which they use to create new sound worlds, which separates them from the standard reproductive character of a DJ. Their musical talent and knowledge of technique comes from their musical resume: When other kids were playing at the pool eating French fries on their summer holidays, 16 year old Simon was scratching with several jazz-musicians through Europe. When he was 20 he became known as Simon² tempted to electronic music. Similarly, but on different level, Tobias developed in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. As part of the Turntable-Crew “Noisy-Stylus” he became a multiple ITF- and DMC-Champion and influenced the Turntablism scene of the time with Noisy-Stylus in their own Battlebreakrecords and album “Table Manners”. The final chapter was at a Bavarian sausage-eating contest, facing each other in the final round covered from head to toe in sausage. They immediately knew what to do and founded the Boy band “Andhim”. Just a logical progression! After massive gigs through Europe, North America and Asia, the boys continuously work on their sound and development in an effort to explore new worlds of sound. With strong support from many Artists and Labels of the scene they are looking forward to the future with optimism and are excited to make the people of the world dance, smile and go crazy!

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Today Artbat are among the most successful Ukrainian electronic acts and enjoy global recognition. Just a year after Artur and Batish, two experienced deejays and producers from Kiev, joined their forces as Artbat, the project has completed a rewarding transition from the debut release to performing at the Destino club, Ibiza. The key to Artbat’s success lies within their powerful and inventive sound of the highest quality. Their tracks have an impressive capacity to fuel both intimate dancefloors and huge arenas with energy and drive. And these are just the reasons many renowned artists are attracted by Artbat’s music. Such dance music authorities like Solomun, Maceo Plex, and Richie Hawtin regularly spin Artbat’s tracks during their sets. Since the emergence of their debut single ‘Mandrake’ Artbat’s discography has expanded to seven releases extra. Three of them appeared in the Beatport’s Techno Top 100 and their single ‘Confession’ has charted 37th in the Beatport’s Deep House Top 100. For a whole month ‘Mandrake’ remained in the Beatport Top 100 chart and has just become one of the most successful Definition:Music releases ever. These remarkable achievements led Artbat to collaborations with the finest European labels like Diynamic, Suara, Parallel Records, Sincopat, 303Lovers and so on. New Artbat’s track “Uplift” was released on 17th March 2017 on Diynamic Music climbed #4 in Tech House Top 100 and #7 in Top 100 All Genres Chart on Beatport. Through their releases, Artbat make it perfectly clear that this duo has single possible purpose – to headline the upcoming night party. Working their magic as creators of many a dance hit in techno and house varieties they are fire quick to drive everyone on the dance floor into the craze. Prior to coming together as Artbat, the two – Artur and Batish – gained invaluable experience as performing DJs at plenty parties at the best nightclubs in Kiev. Last year their touring outreach added a number of new concert locations such as Lebanon, Egypt, Greece, Dubai and Georgia – no wonder, Artbat’s schedule absorbs new dates at a steady pace. Summer 2016 saw Artbat play Ibiza at Destino club. The guys successfully went on at Destino right after a series of trademark parties by Luciano, the godfather of Cadenza the label. “What began as a pause became a moment of clarity.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
What began as a pause became a moment of clarity. By stepping away from expectations, familiar routines and the frameworks that had formed around the project, Innellea entered a new creative phase guided by instinct rather than external noise. The focus shifted back to what originally sparked his connection to music: the process of creating, the dancefloor as a shared experience, and the community that forms around it. Musically, this new chapter marks a shift in approach. Rather than refining a single “Innellea sound”, the artist embraces a more club-oriented direction and the freedom to explore the full spectrum of electronic music without being boxed in by expectations or past successes. As the project evolves, the focus shifts toward the core spaces of electronic music: intimate clubs, raw environments and venues where the relationship between artist and crowd feels immediate and unfiltered. Less spectacle, more energy. Less narrative, more movement. At the center of this world sits Belonging, his label and creative platform, not simply an imprint, but a growing community built around music, art and the collective experience of the dancefloor. Since emerging in 2019, Innellea has carved out a distinct space within contemporary electronic music. Early releases quickly caught the attention of leading DJs and found homes on labels such as Afterlife, Innervisions and Diynamic, propelling him onto international stages while cultivating a loyal global following. Alongside his releases, Innellea developed conceptual live projects including Distorted Youth, Five Phases and The Belonging, exploring emotional narratives and the connection between artist and audience. For Innellea, the dancefloor remains a sacred space, a place where individuality dissolves into collective experience, where people come together through rhythm and sound.

“Whilst some follow trends, others set them.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Whilst some follow trends, others set them. Award-winning music producer and live performer Rodriquez Jr. also known as Olivier Mateu has spent 20 years in the industry, with his vast experience of all genres of electronic music making him the visionary of melodic house and techno he is today. Initially, Mateu made his name under the mentorship of the legendary Laurent Garnier, releasing music on the revered F-Communications label as one half of French electro act The Youngsters. Following this he gradually honed his style into the dynamic, colourful sound of beauty that can now be regularly found on Mobilee, Anjunadeep and demanded for on remixes of Stephan Bodzin, Booka Shade, Eli & Fur, Steve Bug, Timo Maas and more. Drawing inspiration for his live performances from the vintage synthesizers, keyboards and dusty analog gear of his studio in Paris, Rodriguez Jr. relishes the opportunity to travel the globe and realise his project on stage. In doing so he has amassed a devoted and loyal fan base through the creation of his unique movement. Some of the most recent acclaimed shows featured huge festival performances at Sziget (Hungary), Lightning in A Bottle and CRSSD (both California), Paraiso and Sonar Festival (both Spain). Continuing to blur the boundaries between electronic and organic like few others can, his extensive touring schedule sees Mateu at world-renowned clubs every week, taking him to the likes of Solumun’s party at Destino Ibiza, Fabric London and Space Miami. Not stopping there, Rodriguez Jr. has formed a special musical partnership with former Nouvelle Vague vocalist Liset Alea. The pair met 15 years ago creating music for Laurent Garnier ́s label, and through their ongoing live RJLA project, they tell sonic stories, fusing organic charms of live instrumentation with cutting-edge music for the dancefloor and presenting this at selected events. This culminated in an extraordinary audio/visual display for broadcast pioneers Cercle, with a unique performance at the carefully selected idyllic location of Falaises d’Etretat, showcasing their captivating live electronics. On the production front, Mateu has continued to have an exceptional output, with his last release on Mobilee Radian entering the Beatport top ten within three days following release. Another highlight was his full Anjunadeep debut on the eclectic double-cut entitled Phoenix/Amargosa. Alongside this his remixes have also been received with equal merit on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Systematic or Poker Flat. His latest reworking of Eli & Fur on Anjunadeep made it to number three of the Beatport melodic house & techno chart. On Spotify, his music reaches an audience of 500,000 listeners each month and continues to grow every week. Currently Rodriguez Jr. is working on his third album for 2020, meticulously crafting another emotionally moving LP with exemplary skill to follow up the globally supported 2017 album Baobab. All will be unveiled next year, with new music, new show, international tours and more to come. “In Celtic mythology, everyone knows the magical AWEN, but there are disagreements about what it is and, mostly, what it can do.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
In Celtic mythology, everyone knows the magical AWEN, but there are disagreements about what it is and, mostly, what it can do. Some believe it’s a spirit that gives glimpses of the future, while others affirm it’s a symbol of balance between opposites. However, for most people, it is a woman, the muse of creativity - and the artists she touches act like they were possessed. When singer-songwriter AWEN chose this name, she wasn’t aware of these implications. But, strangely, she couldn’t have picked a better one: she embodies all of these ideas. AWEN has always navigated between distant worlds. Born in Paris from a French mother and a Malian-Senegalese father, she’s long been torn between her passion for singing and her successful career in Hong Kong as a lawyer. But when her father passed away in 2016, she decided to give up her job and move back to France to try to become a professional artist. Building upon her cultural heritage and her musical tastes (she grew up listening to artists such as Nina Simone, Bob Marley and Marvin Gaye), AWEN started to produce her unique style of Afro-house. It mixed electronic instrumentation with timeless melodies - and a touch of spirituality. “In Western Africa, our family name has a special perception”, she explains. “It’s the name of a legendary sorcerer king; that’s why I describe myself as an Afro-house witch”, she laughs, before adding: “but I mostly like the fact that, nowadays, witches have become icons of feminism and freedom.” In 2019, AWEN released her first solo album, Redemption. It was followed by 6 EPs and singles, including collaborations with upcoming afro-house stars such as Floyd Lavine, Daniel Rateuke or Enoo Napa. It includes “Your Voice” with Caiiro (2020), a song that channels raw feelings of faith, love and hope with such intensity that many listeners wondered if the lyrics were about God - AWEN actually wrote them as a letter to her son, who was unborn yet. “Your Voice” gained a cult status that made it unescapable among house fans - with the exception of Adam Port. Strangely enough, the legendary DJ/producer only heard it for the first time two years after its release (!), while he was in a bar in Istanbul. Impressed, he shazamed it and proposed to produce a remix. Released in 2022, his version confirmed the song as a global sensation: it dominated the Beatport charts and took Coachella by storm when AWEN performed it on stage. “My son was born after I wrote “Your Voice” for him”, she says. “All the blessings I get from this song... I feel like they are gifts from him.” With her other hits “Gold” and “Kusimama”, plus a release on legendary label DFTD (“Time”, with Christoph), AWEN’s futuristic blend of empowering lyrics and mysterious universe seduces an ever-growing global audience. “My dad came from Africa, my mom is European, and I lived several years in Asia. I feel like I belong everywhere”, she says with a smile. One of the other reasons of AWEN’s success is her ability to transcend her repertoire on stage. Standing at 1m83 (6 ft.) with her signature braids and a deep voice, the artist is a commanding presence that captivates concertgoers across the world. “I’m mixing, I’m singing, I’m proposing a visual experience”, she details. “I want my performances to be a whole experience. I want to give Afro House the global visibility it deserves.” It might just be a question of time. Because when your name is a call to the divine, some things are just meant to be.
