With taste for days and stunning technical skills to match, Alex from Queens is one of New York's finest, and kills the old way. He has an insane record collection of gems spanning genres and is the mastermind behind the legendary Capriccio parties. Alex has an absurd vinyl collection as well as the skills to walk the talk, routinely taking out the lineups he is invited to join. Electronic music visionary JTC / Tadd Mullinix / Dabrye / Charles Manier wrote the following about a set he witnessed of Alex's,: "one of the most creative, potent, and seamless sessions I've heard. Ranking among the best sets by Carlos Souffront or Traxx.” Through the cult Capriccio parties, Alex has added a fearless, intense, futuristic, experimental, transgressive, sexual and raw vibe to the scene in New York City, featuring the likes of Stingray, Traxx, Martin Rev, Juan Atkins, Carlos Souffront, Martial Canterel, Charles Manier, Veronica Vasicka, Hieroglyphic Being, NGLY, Patrick Russell, 51717, Silent Servant, and Jahillya Fields to name but a few.Their RA profile lists Nation.Recently at Le Bain, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with Camille BWR, Jackmaster Thomas, Tony Price, none of them here that night
“M Parent is a dynamic purveyor of deviated electro rhythms and low swung techno sludge.”

the whole biography
M Parent is a dynamic purveyor of deviated electro rhythms and low swung techno sludge. Texture, tone, and feedback are pushed to the brink of post apocalyptic collapse with any M Parent studio production or live performance. Using heavy modulation and unique techniques with his eurorack modular case, his 808 booms and fizzles through thick layers of feedback and acidic tones bubble up through his swampy grooves. M Parent has released music on such labels as Zement, Immortal Sin, Gravitational Waves, Selvamancer, Acid Camp, and Sons of Traders. He is also part of various groups such as REX84 and SEER.Their RA profile lists Gravitational Waves, Acid Camp, Chem Club Records, Immortal Sin and 4 more.Recently at Good Room · often with UPRFXR, Heidi Sabertooth, Maroje T, none of them here that night
“From DJing Bushwick Open Studios after parties to their long standing residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Seurat has been an active member of the underground electronic music scene in Brooklyn since 2013.”
