New York to Ibiza, Tulum to LA, Lauren has graced the most iconic clubs and parties with her eclectic tech house sound. A jet-setter in the truest sense of the term, she has played festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, TomorrowWorld and BPM, while establishing herself as an Ibiza favourite, playing popular parties such as Paradise, ANTS, Music On and Hï. Away from music, Lauren has demonstrated her entrepreneurial flair with new fashion venture Lane Eyewear. The S/S 19 range is soon to be released, after the maiden collection sold-out in all designs. Meanwhile she will launch her own record label Recreation this summer, with her remix of legendary 90's trio TLC's "Creep" as first release. Her distinctive releases on Edible, No. 19, Warung and Saved Records amongst others, have shown the world that she's all about the deep, fun vibes. With her pedigree higher than ever before, few producers have enjoyed such a frenetic rise to the top, with Lauren showing no signs of slowing down.Their RA profile lists Saved Records, No.19 Music, Visionquest, Tobus X and 2 more.often with Anchovies, Gian-Paul, Kurilo, none of them here that night

“Born and raised in the San Francisco, Bay Area, Ca.”

the whole biography
Born and raised in the San Francisco, Bay Area, Ca. Papa Lu had the chance to absorb all styles of music from Hip Hop to house as an adolescent. His first passion was with Hip Hop. As soon as he graduated from High School he dove right into the business of throwing Hip Hop shows at a venue called The DNA Lounge. He worked with some of the most classic artists of the true school era like Digable Planets, Digital Underground, Gang Starr, Kool Keith, Dj QBert, Grand Wizord Theordore, and many more. During that time period several house music pioneers like Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Dj Sneak, Heather, Colette, etc were making their waves at that same venue and that’s where Papa Lu had learned to love house music. Becoming a house music aficionado Papa Lu had then decided to make the transition into producing quality house music events. He still to this day produces a party named Night Moves at Monarch SF and other events as well at a few of the other fine established clubs of San Francisco. He’s worked with artists such as Danny Daze, Jimmy Edgar, Dennis Ferrer, Poolside, Amine Edge & Dance, Doctor Dru, Walker & Royce, Lazaro Casanova, Claptone, Juan MacLean, Fur Coat, Crazy P, Noir, Moon Boots, John Tejada, J Boogie, Deejay Theory, Pacific Disco, etc. In the process of becoming deeply involved and passionate with finding new cutting edge artists to book Papa Lu cultivated himself as a quality dj opening and closing for the artists named above and is now a commonly known dj in SF's house scene. For Papa Lu, his career as an innovative house dj has recently started and is budding well. His production with Bryan Boogie (LifeSF/ 2nd Sunday) is in progress and is anticipated to gain solid traction.often with Maya Records Presents, Joeski, alexander:louis, none of them here that night
