FRIED PLATANO dishes out a fusion of Latin musical flavors mixed with hard hitting, bass heavy electronic beats. Being of Caribbean descent, he amplifies melodies and vocals from his culture with the current sounds of his NYC nightlife experience. His Dominican upbringing makes him serve up fast rhythms of Dembow gone wild and transports you to a hot steamy tropical dance floor.Recently at Market Hotel, H0L0, Paragon · often with JOSELO, Sterling Juan Diaz, Total XTC, none of them here that night

Oakland’s Lil Zé (@aquanettalashangelaboo) arrived from space bringing along with them sounds from across the universe and the African and Black diaspora. Heavy drums, vocal chants, loud energy, are both the destination and the journey - making it impossible not to move to her genre-defying music history lessons. Catch her mixing on Lower Grand Radio, Fault Radio or listen back to her mixes for NTS, Dublab, Cult Classic, Balamii Radio.Recently at Jade, Mood Ring, Honey's · often with Papi Weli, Powla, Ianko, none of them here that night
