This burning passion within him sparks a longing to shape, tease and playfully amplify the intensity of the dance floor action. With over two decades of experience as a producer for the likes of Ostgut Ton and Careless and as a DJ, he remains an unwavering, yet never predictable, mainstay. Renowned for his extended, scorching techno closing sets, Boris is one of the most well-versed and dedicated protagonists in Berlin's vibrant queer electronic scene. However, to pigeonhole Boris only to Berlin would be doing him a disservice. In fact, his visits to legendary clubs like Paradise Garage and the Loft in New York City have left an indelible mark on his persona and DJ style. Imagine the euphoric sounds that created a sense of belonging and ecstasy in Boris's heart while experiencing the massive pumping sound and welcoming community feeling at NYC's clubs. He brings this same warmth and playful energy to dance floors worldwide. “For the past 15 years, The Bunker New York has led the way for American techno by bringing together hundreds of artists from all over the world.”
their own biography
the whole biography
For the past 15 years, The Bunker New York has led the way for American techno by bringing together hundreds of artists from all over the world. More than a mere techno party, The Bunker unites diverse sounds from across the electronic music spectrum, connecting the dots between house, techno, experimental sounds, and much more. The Bunker New York began as a party, grew up into a record label, and has become a collaborative community, fostered by founder and curator Bryan Kasenic since its launch in 2003. Kasenic's roots in the world of music go deep. In 1993, at the age of 16, he began DJing on Carnegie Mellon’s WRCT in Pittsburgh. He went on to launch his own radio show on WNYU in 1997. The radio show, and his interest in the many weird corners of the NYC music scene, eventually morphed into the creation of a weekly email newsletter, which included noteworthy party and event listings at a time when nothing of the kind existed online. As Bryan became more established in New York City, he created Beyond Booking, the agency that would become a core part of The Bunker New York. During this time, Bryan was also a sought-after DJ, performing at parties and events on a weekly basis. Currently, Bryan also hosts a weekly show on Red Bull Music Academy Radio, featuring The Bunker's friends and family. Bryan is much more than a mainstay at The Bunker New York. He has also played in many of the finest clubs and venues around the world: Berghain, Panorama Bar, and Atonal Festival in Berlin; Concrete in Paris; Bassiani in Tbilisi; De School and Shelter in Amsterdam; Organik Festival in Taiwan; Output and MoMA PS1's Warm Up series in New York; Contact, Air Tokyo and Circus Osaka in Japan; Smart Bar in Chicago; the Communikey and Decibel festivals in Boulder and Seattle respectively; Public Works in San Francisco; and many more. Additionally, he has co-produced numerous events and festivals, including several years at Unsound Festival New York. Unsound is one of the leading electronic and experimental music festivals worldwide, and he subsequently brought The Bunker to Krakow, Poland, Unsound's native city. To understand Kasenic as a DJ one needs only look back at his decades of passion promoting electronic and experimental sounds in New York, and towards the sound of the artists that have become key members of The Bunker New York family: the psychedelic, cerebral bent of Atom™, Voices From The Lake, and Reagenz; the swirling, atmospheric soundscapes of Clay Wilson, Zemi17, and Marco Shuttle; and the industrial-strength hardware dynamics of Løt.te, Mark Verbos, and Romans. 15 years after its founding, The Bunker is stronger than it has ever been and continues to grow, thanks to Kasenic's vision and effort.Their RA profile lists The Bunker New York.Recently at The Chocolate Factory, Locust Grove, House of Yes · often with Carlos Souffront, BMG, Derek Plaslaiko, none of them here that night

“His musical catalog covers themes and concepts regarding modern science, genetics, healthcare, technology and their effects on the human condition.”
their own biography
the whole biography
His musical catalog covers themes and concepts regarding modern science, genetics, healthcare, technology and their effects on the human condition. His earliest productions appeared in 1987 as a collaboration with Lou Robinson (of Scan 7) under the group name Nasa with “Time To Party” and “Cant Stop Now”. Stingray’s solo productions appeared later under the Urban Tribe moniker on Carl Craig’s Planet E Communications label (“Covert Action”). 1998’s debut of “The Collapse Of Modern Culture” on James Lavelle’s Mo’Wax label turned Urban Tribe into a collaborative effort, adding Carl Craig, Anthony “Shake” Shakir and Moodymann to the group. His most notable connection, however, is through the iconic electro outfit of James Stinson and Gerald Donald aka Drexciya. As Mystic Tribe A.I., Stingray’s early credit was on Stinson’s (as The Other People Place) “Sunday Night Live at the Laptop Cafe” 12” via Clone Records. Further meetings with the duo earned him the name “Drexciyan DJ Stingray”, subsequently becoming Stinson and Donald’s official touring DJ. Donning his emblematic balaclava, his cyborg-like DJ sets continue to leave audiences captivated globally for decades. This skilled approach to the dancefloor gives him quite the in-demand gig schedule, appearing at landmark festivals and venues like Tresor Berlin, Glastonbury, Dekmantel, Movement Festival (Detroit), Making Time (USA), Sonar Festival (Barcelona), Berghain, Dimensions Festival, and Berlin Atonal. Stingray’s career continued on as DJ Stingray 313 (and as Stingray313, respectively), after Stinson’s passing in 2002 in respect of the Drexciyan legacy. His ever-unique productions have seen releases on Mahogani Music, Warp Records, Rephlex (“Misinformation Campaign” EP), Tresor (Kern, Vol. 4), and Unknown To The Unknown (Imping Is Easy). Collaborative EPs on WéMè Records with Gerald Donald and Penelope Martin were released in 2012 under the enigmatic NRSB-11 moniker. DJ Stingray 313’s music and sets are met with high praise in the media, with constant appearances in DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, The Wire, Pitchfork and Fact Magazine, as well as mixes on BBC radio. His Micron Audio imprint also continues the representation of his futuristic template, embodying his signature sound of electro and techno. Aside from creating Micron as home to release his music – see the inimitable “Electronic Countermeasures” EP – he releases music from emerging artists in accord with his vision including Galaxian, Ctris, Loka and 6SISS. DJ Stingray 313 remains a steadfast figure in his uncompromising sound, craftily setting the soundtrack to the not-too-distant future. – J. In the space of just a few years, KI/KI has emerged as one of the most exciting and influential voices in electronic music. From selling out 20,000 capacity shows and being named a Spotify Global Equal Ambassador, to gracing the cover of DJ Mag during Amsterdam Dance Event, she’s reshaping the global rave landscape on her own terms. The slash in her name – KI/KI – isn’t just a symbol. It’s a mission statement, a meeting point between nostalgia and the new. She made history as the first woman to win the Dutch Edisons Pop Award and sold out her 5 HOURS NYC show – part of her signature extended set series – in just 30 seconds. Her BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and iconic headline b2b set with Job Jobse that conjured a crowd of 50,000 to the Alpha stage at Lowlands, has further cemented her as a driving presence on both underground and mainstage circuits and with over 1.3 million monthly Spotify listeners, her impact resonates far beyond the dance floor. Her sound is a radiant, hypnotic blend of classic 90s touchstones, shot through with modern energy. From her underground roots as a resident at Amsterdam’s queer bastion Spielraum, she’s since played back-to-back sets with legends like Armin van Buuren, whilst remaining a regular at the techno institutions Berghain, Bassiani and The Bunker New York. As a producer and collaborator, KI/KI’s creative ambition runs just as deep. Known for certified bangers like the acid-laced anthem 5 Mins Of Acid, and the dizzying remix of Felix’s classic ‘Don’t You Want Me’, plus her infectious 2025 take on ‘What’s a girl to do’ from the Dutch legend Fatima Yamaha, her sonic palette is always evolving. And yet, for all the intensity, it’s her joy that resonates most. Over the past few years, Mos has established a resonant voice within the electronic music community. The rituals surrounding electronic music have always fascinated Mos, the devotion to craft, the importance of empathy, and emphasis on community. Mos pulls both contemporary tracks and enduring sounds of the past. The result; timeless. Growing up in New York, Mos began working in nightlife at the age of 15 when he was hired by Selah Marley to design and build a party installation in downtown Brooklyn named ‘Primordial Palace’. While Mos was raised in Brooklyn, he originally was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. In September 2005, Hurricane Katrina tore through the Gulf of Mexico and ravaged New Orleans. This resulted in his family’s relocation to New York City, Mos was only two years old then. Defined by a technically-deft skill set (Resident Advisor recently proclaimed: “Now this is how you mix techno”) Rachel Noon is a fearless and uncompromising presence both behind the decks and on the dancefloor. Despite her rising European acclaim and recent appointment as resident DJ of Pornceptual, Noon attributes her significant career strides to her hometown of NYC and to Brooklyn's inspiring underground queer scene. Active as both artist and raver there, she successfully fostered a vibrant community of friends and like-minded peers. This community gave rise to her roaming event series LARGE MARGE which has since expanded internationally, with exciting plans ahead. Now from her home-turf Berlin, Noon has co-founded the intimate queer party series mp3, which has rapidly gained popularity in just two short years. If you ask Noon, her most exciting artistic initiative is currently going down inside the studio; she and her friend Steffen Dix have teamed up to form Self Care Starter Pack (or simply, SCSP), a production and live performance duo. Together they have cultivated a process-driven practice whose work takes a nose-dive towards hardware-only experimentation and the integration of optics into performance. Their first single was already released on the mighty Mala Junta x Amniote Editions compilation, and the duo debuted their live set in the fall of 2023 in Berlin. Her parties are the stuff of legend, and her authenticity as a global cultural figure is undeniable. As a member of Discwoman, the all-female DJ crew that transformed electronic music culture over the last decade, she broke ground for more women to rise in the global DJ ranks and inspired countless more to begin in the craft. Every single set by this connoisseur feels like a celebration – a celebration of club culture, of queerness, of community, of house and techno, and of house and techno's Black and Queer American innovators. Her energetic, yet deep approach to DJing has seen this Boston to Brooklyn transplant first garnering attention in the queer party scene of NYC and now lighting up dancefloors all over the world with regular European and international tours. Her aim has always been to contribute & sustain more spaces where marginalized groups are valued and thanked by name for their contributions to humanity. Thank the ORIGINAL Black innovators of House & Techno! Thank you, Disco and Ballroom Queens & Queers and Club Kids alike for the theatrics & fanfare of nightlife as we know it! There are homages to these origins alluded to in all things 'Dee Diggs', from the aesthetics to the sharing of the referential and varied tracks that fill her most noteworthy mixes, to her own original music! She’s known for releasing standout mixes for the likes of Daisychain, Honcho, and Dekmantel over the past couple of years. Her musical adventures spanning all possible genres, the common denominator here is Dee Diggs’ unrivaled taste. Her sound cuts an arch through dance music’s past and present to convey an interesting melding of Dee’s signature sounds: lyrical storied tracks, sensual club edits, soulful realness, sneaky grooves, passionate thumpers, and nostalgic endings. Her eponymous party, House of Diggs debuted in February 2020 to stir and settle the hearts of all the lovers of house, funk, soul, disco, and R&B in Brooklyn, before the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent club closings curtailed that momentum for 1.5 years. However, 2021, found her making strides again when she resumed curating House of Diggs as a semi-regular event series at Jupiter Disco, a rotary-focused intimate dance floor in Bushwick before her touring DJ schedule ramped up intensely. London born, Berlin based fka.m4a (Jay Jackson) has built a solid reputation in the underground scene with a distinctive blend of euphoric and sensual House music. The London born and Berlin-based DJ has made an impact worldwide with filmed sets amassing over half a million streams online and has played at venues and festivals like Timewarp, Lost Village, Sonar and Panorama Bar, features in Mixmag and Electronic Beats, plus Peggy Gou in his corner as a mentor, his stock is firmly on the rise. Born in London, music was always front and centre in his family home, his mother playing music to him through headphones while he was still in the womb. Citing acts whose USP was female empowerment as the first music he found for himself, the likes of Spice Girls and Lil Kim were early musical influences, eventually leading him to start DJing on the queer scene in London. “I was working on the Soho & East London circuit” he says. “I was mainly doing guestlist and hosting but eventually they asked me to DJ and I spent a few years cutting my teeth on that scene.” Learning how to work a crowd as a pop DJ, seeing Honey Dijon DJ on his first trip to Berlin in 2016 led him down the rabbit hole of electronic music and led to a shift in his focus. “I completely fell in love with the storytelling element of her set,” he says. “I spent the next year immersed in dance music culture and started playing the electronic room at queer events.” Moving to Berlin in 2019, the pandemic quickly put a stop to his burgeoning DJ career before a switch to recording streams from his apartment during covid saw his profile blow up, leading to signing with an agency and bagging his first Panorama Bar set when lockdown lifted. With an event series in the pipeline and a summer stacked with festival shows from Hï Ibiza to DGTL, fka.m4a has firmly cemented himself as one of the leading artists in the underground space.Their RA profile lists Nervous Records and Love & Other.Last at BASEMENT in Mar · often with AMORAL, ADAM MUNNINGS, Mar/us, none of them here that night

Alongside the dance floor, he explores ambient music as a resident at KWIA listening bar and through yoga nidra sessions that expand his relationship with sound into the wellness realm. Meehan also curates the ambient stage at WHOLE. His productions resonate eclectic energy: “Hier” (Major Records) introduced his voice as a producer, while “Old Reliable” — features archival gay porn audio from Chicago’s Bijou Theater — landed on a Nervous Records compilation curated by The Carry Nation. Recent studio work includes a collaboration with NYC’s Physical Therapy, with more releases around the corner. This autumn and winter, Meehan is deep in the studio, working on a wave of new music set to define his next chapter. Jacob has performed worldwide at clubs and festivals such as Panorama Bar (Berlin), Tresor (Berlin), Cocktail d’Amore (Berlin), Adonis (London), Basement (NYC), The Bunker (NYC), Smart Bar (Chicago), Honcho Campout (USA), Listen Festival (Brussels), Contact (Tokyo), Savage (Hanoi), Equation Festival (Vietnam) and Honey Soundsystem (SF).Their RA profile lists Nervous Records, Twirl, Major Records and Trax Only.Recently at Gabriela, Nowadays, The Parkside Lounge · often with CEM, Nita Aviance, @motherboard, none of them here that night

Their sets are palpably personal: The dance floor has always been a powerful platform for expression for Kilo, once as a freeing and connecting space for a quiet house dancer and now as one for moving others like them. When Kilo gets going, you’ll lose sense of the kick drum versus the beat of your own body against the floor. That’s a gift from them to you, and your percussion is a gift back to them. Kilo brings their energetic sass to a monthly Lot Radio residency and to parties with impressive lineups, playing alongside Todd Terry home in New York, at the legendary Movement weekend Club Toilet in Detroit, and for Boiler Room. Their mixes, for series such as Coloring Lessons, Honcho, and Juanita’s, and for spots on Rinse and Refuge, also capture the club at its most euphoric. With an unmistakably frisky approach to the craft, Roi Perez’s extensive DJ-sets anchor dance floors and locks the room into a shared frequency, creating an atmosphere of togetherness, where loose sweaty bodies tune in and resolve into a single collective experience. Focusing all of his artistic energy solely on DJing, the Berlin-based DJ crafts long, percussive narratives that swing between sweat and sweetness. With an ever expanding record collection, his sets span groove-led house, tribal-leaning techno, and the teasing, flirtatious heartbeat of a good ballroom. His Panorama Bar residency, lasting over a decade, has shaped his sound signature. In Berghain’s most playful room, Perez has refined a way of mixing that feels expansive without losing intimacy. The same spirit follows him to Dekmantel, Glastonbury Festival and other stages worldwide, and he is equally at home in the steamy basements we all love so much. In short: Roi Perez is a key figure wherever long sets, instinct and mischief shape the night. Perez’s own party LAUNDRETTE traces dance music back to its queer roots through time-stretching sets and a deep attunement to the room’s collective resonance. “Ryan started his ongoing love affair with dancing and dance clubs at a young age.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Ryan started his ongoing love affair with dancing and dance clubs at a young age. But it wasn’t until moving to New York in 2006 that he took his love of the music in the direction of DJing and promoting. Noting that many of the city’s gay dance clubs were playing surprisingly homogenous music, Ryan was inspired to push that envelope. Combining forces with DJ Ron Like Hell, Ryan started DJing at “Rocket,” a party night they collaborated on at Hose in the East Village that became popular for its distinctive mix of classic and forward-thinking house and disco. Later he co-conceived and DJ’d the Soffitta70 parties at the Public Assembly Loft in Williamsburg, combining house and techno music with psychedelic art, and drawing a vibrant and eclectic young dance crowd. The sound Ryan and Ron created for these parties caught the attention of Catz ‘n Dogz, and Electronic Music Bears, and Honey Soundsystem leading to the duo's tailoring exclusive podcasts for all of them. Ryan’s penchant for soulful rhythms with a decidedly forward edge soon brought him DJ gigs in San Francisco (with Honey Soundsystem), DC at U Street Music Hall, in London (Dalston Superstore with the legendary Optimo and Vogue Fabrics with Severino, and Club Butt w/ Butt Magazine and Boris of Berghain), and in Berlin (Cocktail D’amore) as well as one of New York’s most popular dance clubs and parties, from the main floor of the legendary Saint At Large Black Party to Santos Party House and nights such as the legendary Bunker, the cutting-edge techno night in Brooklyn. As a DJ, Ryan continues pushing the dance music envelope with sweat-inducing rhythms at his latest ventures, “Wrecked,” at National Underground in New York. He’s also expanding his creative parameters as one of the founding partners of Discaire, a queer-run record label based out of NYC, San Francisco and London and booking some of the worlds most sought after underground DJ’s. Sedef Adasï has spent years refining a style that is both unpredictable and precise—shaped by instinct rather than formula. Her sets go beyond simple selections, evolving into a language between artist and audience. With elegance and ease, she moves fluidly between house, acid, and rhythmic textures, blending raw energy with refinement to create a sound that feels both dynamic and defined. Her sets unfold in real time, guided by the rhythm, movement, and shifting energy of the dancefloor. Born and raised in Augsburg, Adasï resisted the allure of major urban centers, using her local foundation to create something new for her city. This decision led to HAMAM Nights, the party series she launched in 2017 that has since gained international resonance. From the intimate City Club Augsburg to Berghain’s Panorama Bar, Hammam Nights returns to the essence of club culture, creating spaces of warmth, unity, and collective energy. A resident at both Munich’s Blitz Club and Berghain / Panorama Bar, Adasï sculpts nights that are unrepeatable and deeply felt. She moves through sound with instinctive precision, creating an ongoing dialogue with the dancefloor. More than a decade into her journey, she continues to push the boundaries of club music, treating each set as a dynamic exchange—where sound, space, and collective energy come together to create something unique and lasting.Their RA profile lists Permanent Vacation, Public Possession, Freeride Millenium and KALT Records.Recently at BASEMENT, Nowadays, Camp Kennybrook · often with Berghain, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Steffi, none of them here that night

Born and raised in west suburban Chicagoland, Shaun J. Wright spent most of their teen years immersed in the sounds of house music. In the late 80’s and early 90’s, house music was a powerful force, permeating the mainstream airwaves of Chicago’s most prominent radio stations. With Wright being raised in the epicenter of house culture during this era, their love for dance music began to expand throughout their high school years as they partook in the underground dance scene now globally known as Juke. While in undergrad at Morehouse College in Atlanta, they developed their skills as a dancer in the vogue ballroom scene and professional dance companies. After acquiring an MA Fashion Curation from the London College of Fashion, Wright enjoyed an active career in fashion in New York City. That is where they met Andrew Butler, founder of Hercules and Love Affair, in 2008, and began a whirlwind collaboration with the ensemble as a vocalist. They spent nearly three years touring with the outfit, performing in major venues & festivals throughout North & South America and Europe. They’re also featured prominently on the ensemble’s lauded sophomore album, “Blue Songs’. Returning to Chicago in 2012 to forge their solo career, Wright began to collaborate with respected DJ and producer Alinka. Promptly after beginning their party Twirl in the spring of 2013, Wright & Alinka released their first EP, Twirl Vol. 1, on the celebrated Classic Music Company led by luminaries Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter. They continued to expand upon the brand in late 2014 with their Twirl Records debut release “Journey Into The Deep” EP which included remixes from Kim Ann Foxman and Stereogamous. The label’s output has received much critical acclaim and has been supported by DJ Mag, XLR8R, Mixmag, BBC Radio 1’s Heidi and Annie Mac, and a plethora of notable DJ’s. “Freddy K: techno activist.”
their own biography

Freddy K: techno activist. Since the ‘90s Alessio Armeni has been tireless campaigning from the dancefloor, defending vinyl, championing young talents and reinforcing the scene from the shadows. You will know him best for his marathon DJ sets and deviant selections. You might recognise him as the head of KEY Vinyl, or for the backstage role he played at M_Rec, the label he helped run with best friend Max_M. You should definitely know about Virus, the thing that started it all off for him back in Rome. Lory D and Leo Anibaldi’s The Sound of Rome movement; Luca Cucchetti’s renowned Mad radio shows; warehouses, soundsystems and rave all informed Freddy K’s earliest obsession with techno. He started DJing at Sunday after hour events, having danced all through the night himself. In 1993, aged 21, he launched his now famous Virus radio show, which ran daily from 8PM to midnight, and from midnight to 6AM every Saturday. Parties, a booking agency and record shop soon followed: the Virus movement had arrived. A year later Freddy K signed to the legendary ACV, who released his first EP, Control. Rage Of Age, his debut album came in 1995; a dark and noisy record influenced by his two passions, Chicago acid and rock. It was widely lauded throughout the country and remains a testament to the old Sound of Rome today. After Virus peaked and having toured all over the world with ACV, Freddy K stopped DJing and retreated to the backroom. He spent the early millennial years working with Sandro Nasonte at Rome’s flagship record store, Remix. Together they set up the influential Elettronica Romana label, which released some of Donato Dozzy and Giorgio Gigli's first EPs. He moved to the German capital in 2009, setting up KEY Vinyl as a “techno label for DJs” two years later. Artists like PVS and Héctor Oaks have helped forge the label’s (and Freddy K’s own) traditionalist view on techno. Moving to Berlin reignited Freddy K’s teenage infatuation with rave. He soon fell in with Homopatik, the former monthly gay event at ://about blank. He became notorious for his epic 10, 14 and 16 hour-long sessions there, playing always strictly vinyl and in a dynamic, party conscious fashion. Freddy K sets are characteristically mercurial and 100% tailored for the dance. He plays a “360°-style of techno,” which can include Soft Cell, WestBam or Bronski Beat—when the timing is just right. He played his first Berghain set in 2013; two years later he was closing the place, keeping the energy levels soaring well into Monday. The last 20 minutes, he says, are the most important. “2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York.”
their own biography
the whole biography
2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Markus is known for his versatility, playing a variety of genres including EBM, House, Italo, 80s Darkwave, Breaks, and more. However, he is most renowned for his unique blend of old school electro and new school brolectro, with a distinctive touch of lesbian techno. Born to Palestinian immigrant parents in Las Vegas, he grew up in the suburbs during the 90s, where he developed a deep appreciation for 90s R&B music. In middle school, he discovered trance via Napster and limewire, igniting his passion for electronic music. Markus's move to San Francisco marked a significant turning point in his musical journey. Immersing himself in the city's vibrant underground dance scene, he learned from the renowned Honey Soundsystem, a queer collective, and the iconic Club Lonely. He also became obsessed with the local garage rock scene and perhaps his most significant musical inspiration, Beach House. In 2010, Markus co-founded the indie chillwave band Seatraffic with his friend Brandon Harrison. As the band's synth player and vocalist, Markus contributed to their unique sound, leading to several successful releases over five years. During this period, Markus found his true self on the dance floor, forming his first queer friendships and feeling a profound sense of belonging. This community became his family and played a crucial role in shaping his identity. Inspired by artists like early Grimes and Purity Ring, Markus began producing his own crossover tracks. However, his career as an architectural professional meant that music took a secondary role for a time. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Markus received his first pair of turntables from his then-boyfriend, now best-friend, Dylan. This gift ignited his passion for DJing, and during lockdown, he honed his skills as a bedroom DJ, playing at the lockdown afters with friends. Markus's most influential mentor, Robert Yang (Bezier), introduced him to Ouissam, of Savage Club Hanoi and the founder of Equation Festival in Vietnam. Ouissam challenged Markus to perform at the Rave Cave during Equation Festival 2023. Markus prepared a new live set and made his comeback after a five-year hiatus, performing original productions like "Want It Back" and "With Your Girlfriends," two tracks deeply rooted in the original sounds of Detroit Electro of the 90s, with a San Francisco and Dutch sprinkling of EBM on top. On the same trip, Markus celebrated his birthday at Savage Hanoi, where he was asked to replace Sedaf Adassi, who had to cancel due to COVID-19. This unexpected opportunity led to Markus's first DJ gig at one of Asia's most prestigious clubs. Back in Brooklyn, Markus continued to build his reputation, performing at venues like Bossa Nova Civic Club and participating in fundraisers for Palestine. Later he eventually secured regular gigs at Basement, where he plays in both the Main Room and the multi-genre-focused Studio. In 2024, Markus embarked on his first DJ tour in Asia, performing at renowned clubs such as .Tag, Pawnshop, Heim, and returning to Savage in Hanoi. This year, he will debut at Nowadays for their 24-hour party, nonstop, alongside Lena Wilkens and Vladimir Ivkovic. Markus is also set to perform at this year's Wire Festival at the Knockdown Center in May and make his European debut at Herrensauna's CSD Party in July.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Nowadays, BASEMENT · often with FASHION, Dangerous Rose, Saia, none of them here that night

“NDRX is a Georgian electronic music scene activist and resident DJ of renowned techno club BASSIANI.”
their own biography
the whole biography
NDRX is a Georgian electronic music scene activist and resident DJ of renowned techno club BASSIANI. The journey of a compassionate defender of club culture’s true values starts back in the mid-2000s, when, joined by teenage peers, he starts throwing impromptu raves in the streets of Tbilisi. "We Need More Clubs in Georgia'' becomes a motto of then-newbie young DJs, who were greeted by clumsy gazes and disdain by the passers-by. Nevertheless, the crave for dancing and playing music encouraged them to start throwing parties during the times when not much was happening in the city. Following years sees enthusiastic NDRX founding Stare at DJ (2012-2015), a music series which contributed to the development of the local scene for years. His next venture, 11TH Floor (2015) aimed to unite the group of like-minded electronic music artists. "Other artists joined me on the 11th floor, and something like a commune was created." NDRX’s dedication to the DJ school has encouraged a staggering wave of new DJs and producers, who fill the clubs both home and worldwide nowadays. Since 2016, NDRX proudly joins BASSIANI, a prominent techno institution which revolutionized Georgian club culture and left its mark on the electronic music movements globally. Serving as an underground basis for resistant and subversive youth culture, BASSIANI was notoriously raided by the state armed forces in 2018, prompting tens of thousands of dancers to take to the streets in protest. NDRX, no stranger to street raves, helmed the boisterous task of playing for the protest crowd joined by the artists under the new motto, "We Dance Together, We Fight Together." The state stepped back, and the club eventually reopened next weekend. In the last couple of years, NDRX stands as an embraced guest of one of the most celebrated dancefloors worldwide: Berlin’s Berghain, Amsterdam’s ADE, De School and Vault Sessions; Exit Festival Serbia; Sonar Barcelona; Basement NYC; ODD São Paulo; Fast Forward Copenhagen; Robert Johnson Frankfurt; and Kremwerk Seattle, to name a few; a frisky explorer of unapologetic queer collectives Herrensauna (Berlin); Spielraum (Amsterdam); and Tbilisi’s own Horoom Nights. Focusing solely on DJing, NDRX’s sets bring a scrutinizingly selected and masterfully put-together experience with technical prowess from his spectacular music collection. His sets create the unyielding spirit of the dancefloor, a gutsy passion that makes him the tour de force of the Georgian electronic music scene.Last at BASEMENT in Mar · often with ROBUS, SUMME, STEYA, none of them here that night

Spanish DJ and producer, Ne/Re/A, a fixture of Brooklyn's teeming techno ecosystem for more than 10 years, has a distinctly energetic approach to the genre - relentless groove and unapologetically timeless. In 2021, Ne/Re/A was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based queer party, MERGE, which has served as a musical home and has allowed her to explore the depths of her sonic palette alongside a sophisticated rolodex of the genre's legends. She has played alongside DVS1, Boris, Phase Fatale, Wata Igarashi, Takaaki Itoh and Ancient Methods (to name a few). She cut her teeth as the founder and resident DJ of Distrikt1, the monthly weeknight party at Brooklyn's historic Bossa Nova Civic Club. She's played reputable parties in New York - Unter, Wrecked, Bound and many nights at the city's premiere institutions in BASEMENT, Nowadays, and Paragon. She's played at Berlin's Tresor, Pornceptual, Gegen and at the iconic queer pilgrimage, Whole Festival, BULTO and Video Club in Colombia and Brutal in Mexico City. Her collaborative project, Name Names, with DC-based DJ and producer Juana explores the darker shades of her repertoire, where driving propulsive techno are at the forefront. In 2025, her prowess grows, Ne/Re/A makes her debut in Asia at Taiwan's highly-regarded Organik Festival and Seoul's Volnost, plays notable parties in New York like Wire Festival, Berlin and South America, and continues her residency with MERGE. As a producer Ne/Re/A sharply blends industrial and EBM with melodic techno into her own concoction - a heady assemblage of punch and drive. In 2025 she just released a collaborative track with Clarisa Kimskii in Phase Fatale's BITE record label. In 2024 she released two new tracks for Maison Fauna “In the Dark” and Infra “Piercing the veil”. In 2020, she released her first EP "Your World Took Your Future" on the Industrial Techno United imprint. “THE GOAL IS NOTHING.”

THE GOAL IS NOTHING. THE MOVEMENT IS EVERYTHING. Born in the suburbs of Paris and now based in Berlin, Quelza has developed a body of work defined by precision and intent, free from categorisation. His path hasn’t followed scene momentum or passing waves. It unfolds according to its own internal logic — a steady refinement of sound, structure and space. Releases on Dekmantel and Ostgut Ton trace that evolution clearly. Each record carefully engineered: futuristic, grounded, detailed without excess. Tension builds patiently. Rhythms shift and reconfigure. Atmospheres stretch and contract. There is clarity in his music, but never repetition — the framework is solid, the direction always moving forward. Behind the decks, Quelza’s sets don’t rely on genre markers or obvious peaks. He works with pacing, contrast and control — moving between pressure and restraint, density and openness. Rather than chasing reaction, he shapes progression. A regular at institutions such as Berghain, Basement, Fabric and beyond - which reflects something earned over time: trust in his vision and in his ability to hold a room without shortcuts. Quelza’s approach resists short term payoff. The emphasis is on continuity, developing a trajectory that grows with intention over time.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Mord, 47, Dekmantel UFO and 1 more.Last at BASEMENT in Dec 2024 · often with Berghain, Virginia, Rene Wise, none of them here that night

Roza Terenzi is a manifestation of femmeforward rhythmic energy, spreading a concoction of sublime mind dance, irreverent sapphic mischief, & vivacious cybernetics throughout the universe. Since emerging from her birthplace in the Australian underground, she’s helped to usher in a fantastically playful innovation to dancefloors worldwide through her uniquely enamoring recklessness, irresistibly unruly kinetic frequencies, & a stylishly frenetic visual aesthetic. Combining rave sonics across style & era with relentlessly naughty finesse & a bewitching effervescence true to her sound, her DJing embodies a vibrant synergy between arcane feminine exuberance, lush atmospheres, & nefariously trippy grooves - at once deeply transcendent, yet confident, chaotic, and fun loving at its core. Now based in Berlin, her vibrations on the decks are beloved worldwide - whether it’s through landmark festival slots at Dekmantel, Sonar, & Sustain Release, or blazing rave sets at celebrated party spots like Panorama Bar, Bassiani, De School, and likely your favorite club somewhere in the mix. As a producer, her music flirts with similarly enticing unknowns - zooming through spheres of her own elegant velocity, dissolving constraints of time & dimension as she fuses enchanted realms of spellbinding breakbeat science, introspective futch electronica, & devilishly tranced out enchantress anthems. Throughout beloved solo EPs on Kalahari Oyster Cult, Butter Sessions, & Maricas, & her full length “Modern Bliss” LP on Planet Euphorique, she demonstrates an effortlessly eclectic refusal to be confined to any one genre or tempo - blowing convention a kiss goodbye as she ultimately lets her audacious spirit shine through in all that she creates. Her fiercely universal approach also extends into a deep love of collaboration essential to her practice, exemplified through EPs as B'Zircon with Fantastic Man, Current Obsession with Furious Frank, & the much acclaimed “Edge of Innocence” full length LP with D. Tiffany on Delicate Records. Always keen to share the resonance of her inner world, she is presently curating her "Step Ball Chain" imprint as an inventive repository for her productions with a cadre of likeminded freaks & friends - est. in 2020, & only set to expand in sound & vision as it continues to unite chillers, ravers, & lovers everywhere. Simultaneously a daringly original voice in our present day hellscape while also indulging the heavenly potential of rave music’s heyday, she refuses to engage with nostalgic ideas of euphoria - instead focusing on the energy of music across eras that dares to imagine a more magical present & future for us all.Their RA profile lists Dekmantel, Butter Sessions, Voyage, Good Company (AU) and 6 more.Recently at Camp Kennybrook, BASEMENT, public records · often with Mike Midnight, emkay (FI), ISAbella, none of them here that night

“Eris Drew is a DJ, producer and trans ecstatic from Chicago.”

the whole biography
Eris Drew is a DJ, producer and trans ecstatic from Chicago. She runs the T4T LUV NRG recording label with her loving b2b partner Octo Octa from a log cabin in New Hampshire. Together, they are BBC Radio 1 residents for the 2020 Spring/Summer season. Eris is a recording artist for her own label, Interdimensional Transmissions (Detroit) and Naive Records (Lisbon). She conducts the Psychedelic Rites of the Motherbeat with her friends at Pittsburgh's Hot Mass and at Room 4 Resistance in Berlin. Eris has been playing and programming keyboards since she was a child. A long-time resident at Chicago's Smart Bar and DJ for the Bunker NY, she starting mixing records in 1994 at the age of 18. Her experiences as a musician and dancer showed her that rave is a powerful apparatus which can be used to transform individual lives and communities. In an effort to contextualize the rave experience, Eris gives talks around the world on the connections between dance music culture and other ecstatic traditions such as shamanism. In addition, she is an advocate for trans/non-binary/queer people and mentors aspiring DJs and electronic musicians. When Eris was 18 she had an intensely disruptive spiritual awakening. House music cracked her open and revealed a mystery contained within sound. This “Motherbeat”—as she would call it—was first beheld by Eris following a rave in 1994 at Chicago’s Oak Street Theater. She has helped Eris to heal, create art and find her friends for over 23 years. Motherbeat is a fundamental primordial pulsation; a whispering geometric wind with the power to heal; the archetype of a goddess ascending. She is there to remind us that: I. Ritual dance music has been here since the beginning, before historical time. II. Each of us is made for better things than the cultural download we receive provides. III. We can use the music as a technology to unlock our bodies, dissolve boundaries and models, and find each other.Their RA profile lists Interdimensional Transmissions, Needs (not-for-profit), Naive, T4T LUV NRG and 2 more.Recently at BASEMENT, The Chocolate Factory, Basilica Hudson · often with Immy, x3butterfly, ferrari rot, none of them here that night

Stemming from Lecce Massimilano Pagliara has been based in Berlin for several years where he's been one of the main forces behind recombining the city's hardboiled techno scene with an often overlooked sensibility for the soft and the tender. Call it underground disco passion. Massi describes his style as an eclectic mix of house, disco, electro and techno – one may call it current-yet-classic. DJing has since led to production. These days Massi lets his obsession with analog synths run wild – usually he's holed up in his apartment studio, working on his latest productions. Massimilano's last and sophomore album, ‘With One Another’ (LARJ, 2014), was about celebrating the joy of human encounters and in parts seemed like a big get-together with like-minded artists and friends. The record quickly hit the number one spot in Groove magazine's album chart – and its creator hit the road. Besides his busy DJ schedule and far from the usual club circuit routines, the Panorama Bar resident dedicated himself to intense travelling and exploring the world anew. ‘Feel Live’, Massimiliano's third full-length endeavour was recorded in several intimate, sometimes improvised studio settings between Los Angeles, Portland, and Massimiliano's homebase in Berlin as well as at airports and on intercontinental flights high up in the sky – Massi's most playful and imaginative work to date. It's as emotional as sensual, as vibrant as the first ray of light after a thunderstorm has cleared the air.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Balihu, Meakusma, Live At Robert Johnson and 6 more.Recently at Earthly Delights, BASEMENT, Knockdown Center · often with Berghain, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Majdolen, none of them here that night
“Some DJs burst upon the scene like a supernova, fading just as quickly.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Some DJs burst upon the scene like a supernova, fading just as quickly. Others take years, even decades, to make their way—but those are the ones who make the most impact, thanks to a lifetime of accumulated musical wisdom. Mike Servito is a prime example of the latter. His career is one that’s defined by a slow and steady rise to upper ranks of the deejaying realm—and along the way, he’s perfected a jacking style that equal parts house, acid and techno, a sound that pays homage to the past while being very much of-the-moment. A Detroit-area native, Servito got his early education by tuning into the Electrifying Mojo and the Wizard (Jeff Mill’s radio moniker). By the early ’90s, Servito was primed to try his hand at the deejaying arts, “I was just kind of cocky about it,” he says. “I knew I could do it.” And he was right—in the DJ hotbed of Detroit, internalizing knowledge gleamed from the likes of Mike Huckaby and Claude Young, he kept working at it until he established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Motor City circuit, eventually becoming a member in good standing with the inner circle of Ghostly International. But Servito felt the need for a change from the sometimes insular environment of Detroit. By the late ’00s, he was living in NYC with no real game plan in place. As it turned out, he didn’t really need one—he soon fell in with the city’s premier techno party, The Bunker, becoming one of its mainstay residents. Around the same time, he was beginning to make his presence known on a global scale, packing dance floors with gigs around the States and around the world. But it was a hometown festival snub in 2014 that really got things going. Servito had played Movement once before, in 2011. “And between then and 2014,” he recalls, “I had been playing so many Bunker parties, playing so many great gigs and my profile was rising—so I was sure they would book me again.” The invite never came. Instead, he booked himself at every Movement after-party he could, one of which was the annual No Way Back, a legendary throw down hosted by The Bunker New York and Detroit’s Interdimensional Transmissions label. The set, a riotously sweaty bleeps-and-beats affair, was recorded for posterity; unexpectedly but deservedly, it garnered a nod as the year’s No 1 online Mix of the Year on Resident Advisor. That was the spark that set Servito’s career aflame, the push that took him to the top. Since then, he’s cemented his status as one of the most respected spinners around, regularly manning the decks at such hallowed halls as Berlin’s Panorama Bar, London’s XOYO and Tokyo’s Contact, not to mention the world’s best festivals—including, of course Movement. And to this day, his approach to deejaying is refreshingly simple: “I really don’t think about it,” he says, “When I’m playing, I just dive in, and I’m OK.” He’s far more than okay—he’s one of the best around.Techno on 7, Acid on 5, House on 5 and Acid House on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on The Bunker New York (2) and Interdimensional Transmissions (1); their RA profile also lists Firehouse and Honey Soundsystem. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at The Chocolate Factory, Nowadays, BASEMENT · often with S4M23, JADALAREIGN, Justin Cudmore, none of them here that night

“The enigmatic Schacke defies categorization.”
their own biography
the whole biography
The enigmatic Schacke defies categorization. Half Danish, half South Korean, they have been crafting music since their early teens, traversing genres and instruments with fearless curiosity. Starting with drums and emerging from roots in Metal, Noise, and Industrial, Schacke’s journey has been one of constant evolution, building a sonic universe that feels both deeply personal and boundlessly exploratory. After moving to Copenhagen in 2013, Schacke quickly became a central figure in the city’s underground music scene. They co-ran the Mayhem venue, a hub for experimental sounds and radical ideas, while also founding a DIY label for noise and industrial music. In 2015, Schacke joined the founding ranks of the Fast Forward collective, born out of a desire to create space for a new wave of young artists who were often overlooked by the city’s established techno scene. What began as a series of self-organized parties quickly grew into a movement that redefined Copenhagen nightlife, championing inclusivity, high-energy music, and a DIY ethos. The collective’s fresh approach and innovative sound became the foundation of what is now known as the “Copenhagen Techno Sound”, a bold and uncompromising take on electronic music that challenged the conventions of its time. Schacke’s discography spans a range of acclaimed releases on influential labels such as Kulør, ONES and ZEROS, Mama Told Ya, KAOS, Instruments of Discipline, and Intrepid Skin. In 2022, Schacke launched Sacred Interface, a label dedicated to pushing the boundaries of techno and trance while supporting their local friends and peers. Beyond the studio, they are a resident DJ, event organizer, podcast runner for the iconic queer sex parties of Bedside Productions, a space where their ethos of inclusivity and boundary-pushing expression thrives. In 2024, they also became resident DJ for the Korgy Party in Helsinki. Schacke’s artistic philosophy is rooted in contrast and duality. Their music, at once hard-hitting and tender, accessible and avant-garde, reflects an intricate balance of light and shadow, embracing both the delicate and the dark. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic range of genres, they use techno as a framework to create genre-defying fusions, weaving together hypnotic rhythms, euphoric melodies, and evocative textures. This ever-evolving soundscape ensures that Schacke’s work remains distinctly recognizable yet tantalizingly unpredictable. On the dancefloor, Schacke channels the raver they once were: taking mental notes at every party, translating those fleeting moments of euphoria and connection into their studio work. This intimate relationship with nightlife fuels their creativity, ensuring their music resonates deeply with listeners. A true artist in every sense, Schacke invites you where mystery challenges expectations, fluidity disrupts norms, and self-expression reigns without boundaries.Their RA profile lists dame-music, Aquaregia, Ectotherm, Interstate Records and 6 more.Recently at H0L0, BASEMENT, Knockdown Center · often with Akua, BOYCA, LOVEFOXY, none of them here that night

Nita is a noted member of the legendary House of Aviance. She started DJing around the turn of the millennium and was a resident at the infamous Mr. Black and Westgay, both touchstones for queer artistry and culture in downtown nightlife of the early 2000's. Will has deep roots in NYC club culture, having worked at The Loft and collaborated closely with David Mancuso, holding residencies at many of the downtown New York clubs over the years including The Limelight, Life and Vandam. After dividing his time between NYC and Paris, working on music with fashion houses such as Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood and Yves Saint Laurent, Will returned to DJing dance floors when he co-created SPANK with partners Sean B & Jason Roe. What started as a basement dance party evolved into a roving art-based warehouse party along with a namesake zine. SPANK began to work closely with Horse Meat Disco and the close relationship with that crew has extended in various forms through the years into the present. Currently, Nita and Will perform globally as both individual DJs and, more often, as a duo --they are most recognized for epic extended B2B sets and their wildly successful monthly queer party (also known as The Carry Nation) at Brooklyn's Good Room. Their range is wide and exciting, and in the New York tradition they effortlessly flow through genres and time periods while keeping a modern edge. Since the inception of The Carry Nation, the duo has toured the world extensively including Glastonbury’s Block 9 and Berlin’s Berghain/Panorama Bar among many others. They also have a residency at Ladyfag's flagship monthly Battle Hymn. As producers, their credits include releases and remixes on Get Up Recordings, Classic Music Company, TRIBAL, Nervous, TRAX, Batty Bass, TWIRL, W&O Street Tracks and more. Their latest venture is Major Records, an imprint they co-founded with Justin Cudmore to showcase their Majorettes collaboration with releases that are setting dancefloors alight with a fresh but classic house vibe that stays rooted in the excitement of New York’s history and underground.House on 28, Tech House on 7, Techno on 4 and Deep House on 5. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Nervous Records (2) and Cómeme (1); their RA profile also lists Batty Bass Records, HNYTRX, Twirl, Good Company Records and 1 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Signal, Good Room, BASEMENT · often with Nita Aviance, Will Automagic, Kim Anh, none of them here that night
