CATA is a DC and NYC-based DJ, producer, and music industry professional who has carved out a distinct sound at the intersection of techno, trance, and electro. Her high-energy sets and infectious presence behind the decks are designed to keep you moving, bringing a rhythm that is guaranteed to make you shake your ass on the dancefloor. Inspired by '90s rave culture and video game soundtracks, CATA’s music fuses melodic synths, progressive grooves, and acid-drenched basslines to take listeners on an emotional journey through space and time. She blends nostalgic rave elements with experimental soundscapes that transcend the limits of any genre. Her releases on labels like TETE VIDE, Bass Water Freak Out, PULZAR, DALF, and Ovelha Trax have earned recognition from international artists and have been played at clubs and festivals around the world, As a current law student pursuing a career in copyright law, and with more than 15 years of musical experience, CATA brings a unique perspective to both the art and business of music. Her journey has been defined by her passion for music and deep understanding of the industry, providing an additional layer of depth to her creative process and vision. Whether she is in the studio, on the decks, or in the courtroom, CATA is determined to push boundaries both creatively and professionally.Their RA profile lists Ovelha Trax.Recently at Wonderville, Eris, The End · often with CRYFXB, JOSELO, SINKITTY, none of them here that night
