    the whole biography
Crossbow, comes from an extremely musical background as a singer, song writer and guitarist. Her interest in music developed at an extremely young age and has evolved over her lifetime into a deep passion for dance music. Her love for moody, yet playful techno, allows her to carry her listeners into a moment of deep focus and empowerment. Driving kick drums, jumpy bass-lines, metallic synths and a feel for something darker is what drives her-all carefully woven together to transport you to the foggy underground clubs of Berlin and back to some warehouse in Brooklyn. She chooses her music based on a primal instinct for polyrhythmic drum patterns and emotions embedded between the lines of the melodies. Her hope is that this music elicits interesting and enjoyable feelings in others, the same as it does for her!
Their RA profile lists Fierce Animal Recordings, Hush Recordz, Eclipse Recordings and Affluenza Records.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
She kicked off her career in Portland, OR by establishing herself and her role in bringing esteemed artists through her monthly party Modern Ritual. Her talent has taken her across North America and Europe and has shared stages with acts such as Crazy P, Demi Riquisimo, DJ Boring, Soul Clap, Purple Disco Machine and many more. Living between Upstate NY and Brooklyn, she is focusing on contributing to a newly vibrant electronic music scene in the Hudson Valley where she founded Disco Chalet, a late night mid-winter party themed in vintage aprés ski disco. Her journey has recently evolved into music production by collaborating with long time friend Jesse Gay. The two have released two tracks with Soul Clap Records Exclusives breathing new life into some beloved 70's jams that you can find on Bandcamp. They are currently working on some original works to be released in 2026. Laura Lynn grew up in the small mountain town of Taos, New Mexico within a family of musicians. Her Dad, being Michael Martin Murphey and one of the founding artists of progressive country, music was in many parts of her life. At a young age she began collecting tapes and CDs and recorded mixtapes. She soon found a passion for rock, punk and metal and moved to Southern California in 2000. It was there she frequented clubs such as The Echo and Cinespace at the height of the indie dance and electroclash scene. These experiences peaked her interest in the crossover of rock and electronic music and eventually lead her to start DJing in 2009.
