Monolithic is the alias of Jun Torii, a Brooklyn-based producer and DJ originally from Japan. His sound moves between lo-fi house and breakbeat, defined by distorted TR-808/909 drums, warm pads, and emotive melodies. Emerging through Bandcamp, Monolithic drew early attention from platforms like Houseum, Slav, Moskalus, EELF, and Majestic Casual. His productions have earned support from artists including Disclosure, Cinthie, and Lxury, connecting with both club crowds and home listeners. Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Chloe Battelle is known for blending acid, breakbeat, and techno into experimental and technical sets.
