Bored Lord is the alias of Oakland-based DJ and producer Daria Lourd, a musician in the Bay Area underground known for her sets and performances that weave together house, club, breakbeat, and beyond. A prolific producer, her tracks reflects a deep reverence for dance music culture, reimagined through a distinctly queer lens, and DIY background. While under her given name, her music veers towards downtempo dub-influnced hardware songs. With her wife, she is part of the duo Darlynn. She has released a large, mostly self-released, discography since 2012. She is a member of No Bias, a resident at Bar Part Time, and an employee at Cone Shape Top.
