    their own biography

    the whole biography
Adam Beyer occupies a firm position among the few techno originators who’ve stayed at the top of their game since the ‘90s. The Swede’s three-decade career is an impressive unfurling of steadfast, future-focussed innovation and expansion. Beyer has performed at nearly every club and festival around the world multiple times, he’s the first to have racked up 100 Awakenings appearances, he’s turned in two rounds on Radio 1’s Essential Mix and an entry into fabric’s mix series, built a vast catalogue of vital records, released under various aliases, and launched three record labels, including the gargantuan Drumcode, a world-dominating brand with a syndicated radio show, weekly show on streaming platforms and global wide events. Beyer’s vocation kicked off as he galvanised the dawning of a new wave of European techno in the mid ‘90s with releases on Planet Rhythm Records and the iconic Drumcode imprint. Adolescent impatience spurred the launch of his label in 1996. With a vast stack of his records good to go and Beyer being eager to speed up the release process, he threw money into a venture that would sooner give his cuts a stomping ground. Drumcode would soon grow at supersonic speed with his own high-voltage material being released alongside early records from Cari Lekebusch, Joel Mull, Marco Carola, Henrik B and Hardcell. Today there’s no bigger label or brand in techno than Drumcode. It’s long been an entry point into techno, ushering in millions of ravers. An impressive roster of artists feature across an unbroken schedule of worldwide, sustainable events, with a high point being a two-year run of its own booming festival. The imprint has already surpassed its 250th release - a historic collaboration that had Kevin Saunderson revive his E-Dancer moniker for remix treatment. Celebrating the origins of techno, Beyer came through once again on his commitment to respecting the sound, maintaining its integrity and pushing things forward with a diverse line-up of artists including Robert Hood, DJ Mink, Amelie Lens, Len Faki, TYGAPAW, DJ Bone, rRoxymore, Bart Skills and Layton Giordani. “Techno is more diverse than it’s been in a long time. The underground scene is thriving again. I started Drumcode as a counterculture movement, so it’s encouraging to see the energy in it - this youth punk feeling feeding back into techno again.” A true festival headliner, his main stage performances consistently push the envelope of sonic and visual possibility. Beyer’s diligence and devotion to deftly preparing for each set is what fuels his ability in cultivating clubbing environments that are consistently abuzz with euphoria. Guaranteed to enjoy that special treatment in 2023 are clubbers headed for Ibiza with Beyer’s 10-week residency at Hï Ibiza in the main room alongside fellow Swede Eric Prydz. He’s also leading yet another residency at M2 Miami - the latest brainchild from the team behind Ultra, headlining two nights at Coachella, touring South Africa and South America, and lining up festivals Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Creamfields, Junction 2 and many more.
Their RA profile lists Tortured Records, Soma Records, Cocoon Recordings, novamute and 6 more.

  • Avision

“Fortunate to grow up around the rich club culture of NYC and influenced by the sounds around him, Avision now finds himself helping to usher in a new wave of techno for the New York scene.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Fortunate to grow up around the rich club culture of NYC and influenced by the sounds around him, Avision now finds himself helping to usher in a new wave of techno for the New York scene. His debut album In My Mind has been released on Maceo Plex’s Ellum Audio imprint, which DJ Mag UK has called “an impressive body of work stuffed full of melodic techno and maximal house”. Anthony Cardinale aka Avision started young on the turntables at the age of 12, gained his first residency at 15, and hasn’t looked back since. Recent touring highlights include gigs at The Brooklyn Mirage & Time Warp in NYC, Off Sonar in Barcelona, EDC Las Vegas, Space Miami, Watergate Berlin and Stereo Montreal. Around the same time as his DJ career started, he began to hone his production skills in the studio, and has developed a distinctly New York-flavored techno sound that he’s now bringing to the world. Over the last number of years, he’s had releases on a range of influential labels across the spectrum of techno; from Ellum and Drumcode, to Hardgroove and Truncate to name a few. Avision has also recently started the Ground Rule Collective, an outlet which brings together all of the different aspects of his creative passions: music, events, clothing, art, and food - all driven by New York influence. The events portion of Ground Rule has launched with a recurring series of events in New York at Superior Ingredients (formerly Output), and the first clothing line drop followed shortly after. The philosophy of Ground Rule will mirror the development of Anthony as Avision, “staying true to the music, the art form and myself is something I always want to push forward.”
Their RA profile lists Intec Digital, Drumcode, Mindshake Records, Ellum and 6 more.

With a rebellious, unrestrained approach, her productions explore the boundaries of electronic music through promiscuous sonic experimentation. Helang combines synth-wave inspired, grungy basslines topped off with sultry vocals that result in a seductive sonic synergy driving deep into her listeners' cores. While not overtly feminine, her music exudes a boldness and strength that challenges traditional paradigms in the male-dominated world of dance music. Thus far, Helang has released on European imprints such as Manual Music and Stress Records, with 2023 seeing the launch of her very own "Dauntless Records". She has shared the stage with industry leaders including Eric Prydz, Testpilot, Hi-Lo, Camelphat, John Digweed, Layton Giordani, Mathame, while her music has garnered support from the likes of Maceo Plex, Marco Faraone, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Karotte + more. She has recently earned attention from impactful titles, with media placements in DJ Mag, Forbes, Beatportal, YourEDM, and 6am Group. Helang's mission is to create music that provocatively puts a voice to her experiences as a bold, uncompromising artist, inspiring others through her uninhibited expression.

“Across decades of devotion, hard work and a natural talent for connecting with the dance floor, Nicole has cultivated an unparalleled reputation.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Across decades of devotion, hard work and a natural talent for connecting with the dance floor, Nicole has cultivated an unparalleled reputation. A staunch advocate for personal freedom, she is highly regarded worldwide for her deep knowledge, unforgettable DJ sets, definitive productions and iconic aesthetic - a pillar of the global electronic music community. With regular appearances at a long list of influential and innovative club spaces and festivals, Nicole Moudaber’s versatility, passion and intuitive approach place her in the top tier of touring artists. She has travelled the world playing, from intimate basement venues to large stages at festivals such as Coachella, Ultra Music festival, Time Warp, Electric Daisy Carnival, Awakenings and many more of the world’s most renowned electronic music spaces. Always striving for greatness, she has her sights set firmly on the future with a strong vision of her next phase and the unwavering determination to make that vision real. From Nigeria to Beirut and London, Nicole’s dynamic outlook has been shaped by each location. Growing up in Nigeria exposed her to the hypnotic tribal rhythms of artists like Fela Kuti. Described by the BBC as the “Godmother of Beirut’s nightlife”, she was pivotal in building up the city’s club culture in the late 1990s. A move to London in 2000 led to more party promoting and, eventually, diving head first into DJing and production. Today, Nicole is a globally revered icon. More than a DJ, Moudaber is a cultural ambassador and champion of the underground. With her core values centred around self-expression and freedom of self, over the last few years she has rediscovered and reinvigorated her creative energy, channeling her love for music into an array of projects. Besides her solo releases and a consistently packed touring schedule, she has carved out plenty of studio time amid her global travels, collaborating with a wide range of artists that further reflect her boundaryless vision. In what has been a highly creative period for Nicole, collaborators include Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Armin van Buuren, Chris Liebing, Jasper Street Co. and The London Community Gospel Choir, among many others. Her music has landed on esteemed labels such as Diplo’s Higher Ground, the legendary Nervous Records, A State of Trance, Drumcode and Armada, to name just a few.
As someone who positions themselves as a chameleon, this slew of releases across genres demonstrates just how versatile Nicole can be. Her forthcoming album will cement this notion. It will bring together a multitude of styles and influences, all of which comprise the artist we know as Nicole Moudaber. The project reflects her dynamic spirit and love for diversity in sound - each track a piece of her evolution as an artist. Aligned with everything Nicole does, the roots of the album lie in the groove and funk embedded in her soul. Her entire being moves with the rhythms that can be traced back to the Motherland, and her earliest encounters with music and the core of it all - drums. Nicole is also writing a book about her life. In a boldly vulnerable move, she will tell her story in detail, giving fans a chance to gain a deeper understanding of her personal and professional background. Yet another (literal) chapter that cements her position as an artist of the people, who connects with listeners in a deeply personal way.
A new label is also part of Nicole’s vision for the future. MoodCollective focuses on tech house, providing another platform for self expression alongside her techno label MOOD. Its ethos is centred around showcasing emerging and innovative talent. Always seeking to champion new artists and use her success to elevate the careers of emerging acts, MoodCollective is another key asset in her constant drive to galvanise the underground. The label is a natural extension of her ever-growing empire, where Nicole represents the variety that she holds so dear to her heart. Elsewhere, her radio show InTheMood continues to fly the flag for Nicole’s musical expression. For eleven years now she has hosted the show, with a music policy that has become all encompassing. The show is syndicated globally, airing on 60 FM stations worldwide, spreading her sound to millions of listeners around the globe.
Their RA profile lists Intec Digital, Drumcode, Intacto Records, A State of Trance and 6 more.
