Raised outside of Washington, D.C., this Brooklyn-based DJ blends house music, east coast hip hop, southern classics, and pop for a truly expansive sound. His spellbinding soulful house tracks leave audiences breathless, and weightless. The powerful vocals and hypnotizing beats create an atmosphere where dancing is infectious. People often say “I don’t know what this is, but I love it” during a Gossamer set. Gossamer is constantly exploring and evolving his tastes. Inspired by Lois Lowry’s novel of the same name, Gossamer weaves soundscapes where bad vibes can’t survive. This digital and vinyl dj has a long-lasting love for 60s/70s soul and R&B music that continues to be a major influence in his sound. DJs with similar styles include Peggy Gou, Armand Van Helden, and TSHA. You can catch Gossamer digging for new records, producing his own tracks, and performing around New York.Recently at Trans-Pecos, All Night Skate, Nook · often with allducksrock, LITA DA DOLL, YALI, none of them here that night
“Jalpari is a NC-born Indian-American musician based in Brooklyn, NY.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Jalpari is a NC-born Indian-American musician based in Brooklyn, NY. While their artistic practice was sourced by the euphoric feeling of collective acoustic sound (orchestra), their artistry is currently sustained by the restorative nature of existing inside amplified sound. They were introduced to the transformative force of a proper sound system on dance floors in Hong Kong and Copenhagen, and moving to Brooklyn has opened their eyes to the deconstructive potential of a DJ set. Brooklyn’s rave ecosystem is teaching them that the DJ-2-Dancefloor energy circuit can recreate ancient forms of socializing that (nowadays) tend to only exist in the dark. Jalpari’s sets aim to activate this sacred space to give you something real you can blend into your journey when the lights turn on.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Jupiter Disco, Rash · often with Booshie Mystik, Chainletter, Viper, none of them here that night
“Petal Rose is a NY-native, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer just trying to figure their shit out.”

the whole biography
Petal Rose is a NY-native, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer just trying to figure their shit out. Born and raised by God-fearing Guyanese immigrants, music was never taken seriously unless it was in the context of the church. For lack of a better phrase, music became their god, and they’ve been a loyal worshiper ever since.Recently at Wonderville, Mood Ring, Jade · often with CMD+JAZMINE, BBYGRL, EEVEE, none of them here that night
