Olof has been involved in different cultural projects where music plays a central role in communicating political beliefs. His solo project, Oni Ayhun, plays with stereotypical ideas and norms about gender in dance and experimental music. Starting djing around 98' at local school parties, he ran his first club in high school and has been djing since. He started out playing Disco, House, Garage, and Drum n' bass playing more Hip Hop and R&B in the early 2000's. Following this was a long period of playing harder Techno and House, including EBM and Shranz. The last decade has seen him playing mostly throughout Europe when he's not too busy producing music in his Berlin studio. Currently, as a DJ, Olof plays a mix of West African pop music, Kuduro, Acid, Hip Hop, R&B, and melodic Techno and House. He enjoys making fun edits and remixes to play in his sets. their own biography

    the whole biography
Native to New York, musclecars is a DJ / Producer duo consisting of Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield. As musicians, they equally share an admiration for the art form. Their desire to blend genres and express their appreciation for music is focused around their community- the end goal is to bring people together. Through a regular stream of high quality mixes and multiple outstanding releases, they’re constantly turning heads in underground circles. In 2018 they launched ‘Coloring Lessons’, a party that was aimed to add value to their city’s nightlife culture. While the party and sound is not genre specific, it is heavily focused around house, disco, jazz, and soul, embracing the musical elements of their black and brown ancestors. The monthly party's intention is to bring New York City's dance music scene back to what it was during the golden era of NY nightlife. They aim to spread the music that has been influential to them, and share it with a younger generation of their peers. In 2020 the pair launched the label Coloring Lessons Records. The label, like the party, is intended on building up artists from their city and beyond, with the sound indicative of the Coloring Lessons ethos- which is sharing music created and inspired by their ancestors of color, and teaching younger generations about the roots of this music.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Ron Trent emerged from Chicago’s house music lineage as a teenage prodigy, releasing the seminal track Altered States at just 14. Deeply influenced by his father’s record pool and steeped in both DJing and percussion, he co-founded the groundbreaking label Prescription in the early 1990s. Its soulful, emotive palette helped shape the sound of deep house and inspired generations of producers. After relocating to New York, Trent made his mark at Body & Soul, Shelter, and later as a resident at Giant Step’s Shine, where he fused house, jazz-funk, neo-soul, and global rhythms into a signature sound. As a producer and curator, Ron has worked with icons across soul, jazz, and world music including Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Tony Allen, Amp Fiddler, and 4hero. His imprints Electric Blue and Future Vision expanded his range—embracing both experimental and collaborative projects. Known for his reinterpretations of popular tracks like “Honey” and “Spring Summer Feeling,” his remixes carry a distinctive, spiritual edge. A regular at respected venues like Berghain, ADE, Brilliant Corners, and Japan’s AIR, Trent is a revered presence on the global audiophile circuit. Committed to preserving Chicago’s cultural heritage, he founded SODA in 2016 to support underground music through education and events. The initiative played a central role in projects like the Move Your Body exhibit and the Silver Room Block Party. Most recently, Trent teamed up with Joe Claussell to form the Sacred Medicine label, a conduit for transcendent, healing-oriented music that blends Afro-Latin rhythms, ambient jazz, and ceremonial dancefloor energy. In 2022, under the alias WARM, Trent released What Do The Stars Say To You, a downtempo exploration featuring Jean-Luc Ponty, Gigi Masin, Khruangbin, and members of Azymuth, reflecting his lifelong connection to spiritual soundscapes. In 2025, he embarks on an extensive international tour alongside the release of Lift Off on Rush Hour—a decade-in-the-making album that expands his visionary legacy through bold collaborations and expansive compositions. That same year, his remix of Soul II Soul’s “A Dream’s a Dream” earned a Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording, further underscoring his enduring influence as a bridge between eras of soulful innovation. Nearly 35 years since Afterlife, Ron Trent remains a vital architect of soulful, future-facing music.
Their RA profile lists Peacefrog, Statra Recordings, Mojuba, Prescription and 6 more.
