His eclectic style of groovy underground minimal & house records creates a captivating and hypnotic vibe. Taking inspiration from the likes of the Romanian,UK, and NYC underground scenes, he has cultivated his own sound of underground house music. Spaced out, jazzy, minimal grooves is his style of choice, and he’s invested in expanding his knowledge base by continually creating and collecting music. A computer nerd at heart, Rupert's love for synthesizers and especially eurorack have helped shape the sound he pushes today. In November of 2022 Rupert launched his own record label, Selekt Sounds, which focuses on the hypnotic, psychedelic, and jazzy sides of minimal. The label has featured artists such as Hendriks Toth, Ali Demir, Modebaku, Dragomir, Herck, Chuwee, TIJN, Nektar Agu and many more.

Sabinin began his DJ journey after relocating to the United States from the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula of Ukraine, bringing with him a strong commitment to underground electronic music culture. While based in Houston, he quickly became an active force within the city’s underground scene, gaining recognition for his distinctive leftfield sound and carefully curated selections. He also held a five-year residency at The Flat under the mentorship of DJ Sun. During this period, he shared lineups with respected artists including DJ Stingray, Nastia, Efdemin, Aurora Halal, Rødhåd, Sara Landry, Marcos Cabral, 2Lanes, and Cygnus. After establishing himself as a respected presence in Houston, Sabinin relocated to New York City in early 2024 to further expand his artistic reach. His first production work, created in collaboration with Beat Sicarios, received recognition from XLR8R, marking an important step in his evolution as both a DJ and producer.

With backgrounds in fashion, fine & culinary arts - Tokyo’s idea of a dance floor could be compared to a painting or a well plated dish. His sound is comprised of deep emotion & strategic choices ranging from velvety House to magnetic Techno, warped Breaks and all in between the spectrum of dance music. Christian Tokyo has graced all but a few clubs here in New York - from Bronx house parties to the edge of Ridgewood. Now retiring a 3 year long run of weekly parties at NYC’s cherished bar - Home Sweet Home; Tokyo moves on to focus his time and energy on playing in more countries, building a namesake party in NYC and releasing forthcoming independent projects of his own. Having already been featured on video & radio platforms (NTS, Rinse, Lot Radio etc.) and already performing alongside newer artists and classic NYC legends like the Bronx’s world renowned duo the Martinez Brothers and James Blake (to name a few) Tokyo continues to step forward as a premier selector in a new wave of DJs firmly taking up sonic arms to represent their hometowns.
