their own biography
the whole biography
Manni Dee is internationally recognised as a producer of blistering techno, however there is more to Manni Dee than his sprawling discography of searing sounds. Today he's a multidisciplinary artist working across music, film and fashion. Manni’s open-minded approach remains the root of his creative process. Working from opposite ends of the electronic spectrum adds another layer to Manni’s leading-edge practice, demonstrated in his co-production work for rock outfit The Horrors, and his long-term co-writer relationship with Daniel Avery. Both Manni and Daniel co-produced Resident Advisor’s film ‘VOID - One Year Of Silence’ and contributed a track to Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2022 show. Based in London, Manni is an in-demand artist beyond the UK. Curating his event series Silk + Steel at FOLD, the party is a platform to elevate genre-defying artists, and to support a diverse resonance that is strongly needed to push UK dance culture forward. Industrial-strength releases on Perc Trax, Possession, S.L.A.M. and his debut album ‘The Residue’ on Tresor propelled Manni’s profile internationally, in tandem with an ongoing residency at London’s Rinse FM. Remixes for Daniel Avery, Sleaford Mods, The Horrors and Louisahhh built his back catalogue, and tours spanning North & South America, Asia and Europe dominated his diary. Looking forward, Manni is demonstrating his ability to synthesise disparate sounds, as heard in his Friday Night Guest mix for Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC Radio 6 Music, and in fiery mixes for Dekmantel, DJ Mag. Cultivating a sound and vision that shows no boundaries, Manni Dee is striking out from preconceived notions of who he is as an artist, and is leaving a definitive stamp in the fields of electronic music, art and fashion.Their RA profile lists Tresor, Perc Trax, Earwiggle, Black Sun Records and 6 more.Recently at Paragon · often with GLOBUS, TRESOR, DJ Stingray 313, none of them here that night

“Steeped in Miami’s B-boy culture, it was classic electro & Miami bass that conceived Danny Daze's love for the experimental Dutch electro & Detroit Techno scenes of the 90’s.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Steeped in Miami’s B-boy culture, it was classic electro & Miami bass that conceived Danny Daze's love for the experimental Dutch electro & Detroit Techno scenes of the 90’s. Labels like Schematic in Miami, Interdimensional Transmissions from Detroit & Viewlexx out of The Hague set the foundation for Daze. Daniel Gomez adopted his Daze moniker early on at his mother’s suggestion. Practicing on a set-up she bought him, Daze was spinning at weddings by age 14, funneling his earnings into vinyl to play raves on the side. That eventually led to producing his first tracks in 2004 on a cracked version of Fruity Loops and later that year, he jumpstarted a electro / techno white label called Omniamm. Daze’s risk-taking & punk approach is at the core of everything he does and it’s a big part of the ethos of his current label, Omnidisc. "We're not searching for chart topping hits. We’re more interested in curating a catalog of music you’ll remember when you walk out the door. We seek out tracks that are as raw as possible & welcome imperfections. We love the charm of an unpolished record”, says Daze. It’s also this freeform & experimental approach together with an element of surprise that sets him apart from the pack as both a DJ & Producer. As a DJ, he prefers to express his versatility across long sets. He is known to cut & weave from Electro to Techno into Italo Disco, into a record by Yazoo deliberately intended to provoke a reaction. “I once played a Paula Abdul record at Berghain… basically, it’s like it or leave it,” says Daze. As a producer, his output ranges from releases on Kompakt’s Speicher series, to remixes on Phantasy, Comeme, Monkeytown & more… but he also reaches far beyond techno & has created original runway soundtracks for award winning American streetwear designer John Elliott & the Australian brand Song for the Mute. "I’m obsessed with the detailed manipulation of audio. It’s at the core of how I make music & I constantly feel the need to involve myself with projects that challenge & allow me to think out of the box... whether it’s creating a single recognizable noise for the new MacBook, or an advert for a fashion campaign blending original music with sound design,” says Daze. Danny Daze’s radical approach to preserving music’s integrity while breaking its boundaries may seem volatile, but it’s not random. “I’ve always gone against the grain & it’s important for everything I do to feel authentic. There isn't much difference between Daniel Gomez and Danny Daze.” BOOKINGS: For EU bookings please contact: ned@lb-agency.net & chris@lb-agency.net For US and SA bookings please contact: ryan@liasonartists.com For Australia bookings please contact: Wade@FinelyTuned.com.au For press and management enquiries please contact: mgmt@omnidisc.coTheir RA profile lists Kompakt, Cómeme, Phantasy Sound, Omnidisc and 1 more.Recently at H0L0, Nowadays, public records · often with David Berrie, Connor Wrong, Kurilo, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Lauren Flax has been a lifelong musician, starting to play the drums at 8 years old before continuing on to guitar and bass in high school. She began her DJ career in the underground dance and rave scenes of Detroit as a resident at the Motor Lounge, playing every Tuesday night along with resident DJs Mike Servito, DJ Dilemma, Jason Kendig, and Derek Plaslaiko. Flax played the very first Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2000 on the Motor stage. While originally starting off as a jungle DJ, Flax evolved her style into a variety techno, house, and electro music. Flax moved to Chicago in 1999, where she honed in on music production while continuing to DJ. By 2002, she relocated again to Manhattan, which shortly followed the release of her first remix, "Much Finer" for Le Tigre. In 2018, Flax was introduced to DJ Haus by fellow Detroit musician and friend Jimmy Edgar, to which he quickly signed a record, resulting in "Dance Trax Vol. 16" (2018). In 2019, Flax joined the mostly Detroit-born New York collective The Bunker New York,[1] on which she released "One Man’s House is Another Woman’s Techno EP" (2019). The EP was highly successful and sold out quickly. Flax met with Brooklyn-based record label 2MR in 2019, curious to explore beyond the realm of dance music. She remixed 'Breathe' by label-mate Pale Blue, and that ended up inspiring Flax's new style of music. After the remix was released, Flax took to writing a 6 track EP, merging genres of ambient, acid house, and much more, set to come out in Summer 2021. Flax started touring the United States and Europe as a solo artist in 2019, performing live analog sets, pushing the boundaries of what a DJ is defined as.House on 39, Techno on 22, Acid House on 13 and Electro on 17. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on WRKTRX (3), Aliens On Wax (1) and House Of Efunk Records (1); their RA profile also lists Defected Records, !K7, Toolroom Records, Nervous Records and 6 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Good Room, Libera, The Chocolate Factory · often with Sevyn 0000, Austin Kunis, Costume Design, none of them here that night

Sharlese is a Seattle-based DJ and radio host who thrives on the unexpected, crafting elegant dialogues between genres—from electro and EBM to Italo and techno. She has earned a reputation for weaving intricate, emotionally charged sets on dance floors around the world, with appearances at Tresor, Panorama Bar, Nowadays, MÜLL SF, and Grauzone. Her acclaimed DJ mixes for respected platforms such as KIHDI, BITE, and Pi Pi Pi shine a light on darker, often overlooked sonic realms. For the past 18 years, Sharlese has been an integral part of KEXP, where she currently serves as Producer for The Afternoon Show, Programming Education Manager, and host of Mechanical Breakdown—a program dedicated to off-the-cuff, boundary-pushing underground music. She began DJing in 2012 as a resident at Seattle’s industrial wave event, an experience that—along with hosting shows at Electric Tea Garden—laid the foundation for her live event series False Prophet. For nearly a decade, the series has supported both emerging and established artists, including ADULT., Nuovo Testamento, Xeno & Oaklander, Kris Baha, and Spike Hellis. Sharlese also curates Audiodrome, a monthly party held on the second Saturday at the historic Pony in Seattle. The event explores a wide spectrum of styles—Italo, wave, synth, and electro—and has hosted artists such as Franz Scala, Josh Cheon (Dark Entries), and Beau Wanzer. Audiodrome is streamed live via Intergalactic.fm. In addition to her event work, Sharlese holds residencies with the PNW techno collective secondnature, at Massive Club in Seattle’s Capitol Hill, and on Mutant Radio—an independent online radio station and music platform based in Tbilisi, Georgia—further underscoring her dedication to underground music and her unwavering commitment to making bodies dance.Recently at Nowadays, Night Club 101 · often with Arvin T, Helena Hauff, Saia, none of them here that night
