Living in Brooklyn by way of Karachi, Pakistan, Dynoman is widely credited as an instrumental figure in the formation and development of the Karachi underground and Pakistan’s electronic music scene. He has been producing electronic music under the Dynoman moniker since 2009, and co-founded Forever South, Pakistan’s first internationally recognized digital label, in 2012. Over the years, his sound has evolved alongside his lived experience, remaining rhythm-forward, percussion-driven, and rooted in movement. After relocating to New York in 2017, Dynoman founded Rare Frequency Transmissions, which he continues to co-run. He is a frequent presence in the Brooklyn underground and self-releases much of his work through Dynoman Music, showcasing a wide breadth of styles and approaches. When stepping into the booth, his sets are shaped by the moment rather than pre-planning, often unfolding without a fixed trajectory as he responds to the energy of the space and the room. In 2023, Dynoman co-founded Tarka, a project celebrating diaspora through artistic practice. NAR (Nar Angel Rokh) is an Iranian-American artist, music producer, and DJ based in New York City. Described as “hard-edged, intensely spiritual and immaculately produced” NAR’s distinctive musical style fuses middle eastern soundscapes from their Iranian heritage with club-bass undertones from their American upbringing. A multi-instrumentalist since their early childhood in Los Angeles, NAR cultivated their skills touring and recording with numerous bands before ultimately solidifying their passion as a producer and DJ. Their unconventional aesthetic pushes the boundaries of both audio and visual mediums, showcased in their individual work as well as in collaborative projects like burqa. They recently caught the attention of Rihanna, who selected them to compose the original scores for the latest Fenty Beauty by Rihanna campaigns. NAR has toured Europe, Asia and the US, opening for critically acclaimed artists such as Future, Sophie, Kelela, Mykki Blanco, and Total Freedom among others. They have performed at major art institutions across the globe including the Istanbul and Performa Biennials, Miami Art Basel, ICA, New Museum and MoMa. NAR has also curated runway music for Gypsy Sport, Kaimin, LRS, and Yajun NYFW presentations. Most recently, they performed at iii points festival, Boiler Room and Red Bull music festival.
