the whole biography
SINKITTY (fka Julian Camilo) is a DJ and photographer from Bogotá, Colombia, now based in New York City. His sound pulls from across the Latin American diaspora: early 2000s Puerto Rico and New York reggaeton sourced from a personal archive of rare CDs, colliding with guaracha, dancehall, baile funk, and sharp club edits. Queer, unapologetic, and built for bodies in motion, SINKITTY pushes reggaeton somewhere new. His sets have burned through Club Felinas in Bogotá alongside SixSex, Puticlub in Berlin, and GRILLEO's dark underground in Medellín.Recently at H0L0, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Paragon · often with OYYSTER, Roman Sensation, grunge mum, none of them here that night
