“For Guy Blanken, music is a matter of the heart, and a boundless playing field for sonic explorations.”
their own biography
the whole biography
For Guy Blanken, music is a matter of the heart, and a boundless playing field for sonic explorations. His compulsive curiosity has led him to unusual corners of the electronic music realm – spawning a multifaceted, yet distinctive discography. As Makam, he has investigated anything from exhilarating club anthems to contemplative downtempo moods. And as Talismann, he is probing ever deeper into the abyss of sinister soundscapes and industrial drum patterns. When Guy hasn’t locked himself in the studio, or isn’t tending to one of his labels, he loves engaging with the dance floor during one of his tireless DJ or live sets. Finding a home at Amsterdam institutions like Trouw, and De School (the now closed down) Dekmantel has given him the opportunity and freedom to connect with fellow travellers, and continue on his fascinating musical journey. Talismann is Guy’s darker incarnation. From the moment he delivered tracks like ‘Mars Wars’ and ‘Zula’ (2012), his take-no-prisoner approach has been indisputable. Talismann Records has cemented its position as the home of intense, inky techno and ambient. Moreover, Slagmann, his collaboration with Slagwerk Den Haag, has resulted in one of the most experimental, and arguably most intriguing albums in his oeuvre ‘Krysalis’. Following the release of his illustrious 3-part album ‘PERCUSSION’, Talismann boldly articulates his distinctive vision of techno. Embarking on the esteemed KLINIEK series, a nine-part EP collection, he delves into uncharted territories and boundaries to redefine the essence of late-night destress. Guy meticulously refines his unparalleled vision forged from over two decades of club expertise through the exclusive KLINIEK events, The story continues.Their RA profile lists Talismann.Recently at Absurd Conclave, BASEMENT · often with stranger (NL), GLOBUS, Ranma Entero, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. “Masha Mar is a Serbian-born, Los Angeles-based DJ and producer whose musical vision spans Chicago and New York house, cosmic disco, and left-field rarities.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Masha Mar is a Serbian-born, Los Angeles-based DJ and producer whose musical vision spans Chicago and New York house, cosmic disco, and left-field rarities. Equally at home on festival stages and in the sweat of an intimate club, she moves between worlds effortlessly. Each set feels like its own journey, never the same trip twice. Her radio presence reflects the same range: a long-running residency on NTS Radio with Beyond the Clouds explores the softer, more celestial end of her record collection, while her residency on dublab traces the full arc of dance music's past and present. Both are windows into the restless curiosity that drives everything she does. As a producer, Masha works with a small arsenal of classic machines — the Roland 808 and Juno-60 are constants — and has built a discography across Nervous Records, SOS, Night Prism, and beyond. Her debut EP Virgil's Dream moved fluidly between Italo, house, and dub; her latest, Cherry Cherry, marks a bolder step into floor-focused territory, her sound still evolving and sharpening. Community-building has been just as central to her practice as the music itself. In 2014, she co-founded Dig Deeper LA with Alison Swing — a foundational event series in the Los Angeles underground that brought artists like DJ Sprinkles, K-Hand, Daniele Baldelli, Lena Willikens, and Axel Boman to the city. More recently, she and Heidi Lawden launched Take It Outside, a grassroots femme and queer-friendly series spotlighting international & LA based queer, and female DJs.Their RA profile lists Nervous Records, SOS Music and Night Prism.Recently at public records, BASEMENT, H0L0 · often with Luigi Di Venere, Heidi Lawden, Dornika, none of them here that night
