Pete Dougherty (aka Moon Boots) was born in Brooklyn and spent his adolescence in the suburbs. Early formative musical memories include hearing MFSB’s “Love Is The Message” at block parties. Cut to high school years jamming along to Daft Punk in the barn with a blacklight on. After studying classical and jazz composition in college, Pete moved to Chicago, the birthplace of house music. He spent years honing his skills as a remixer and DJ and in late 2011, Moon Boots was born. The alias began taking shape with a series of releases for French Express. The label provided Pete with a platform, and he quickly leveled up his craft while touring around the world and eventually moving back to Brooklyn. The first Moon Boots album, First Landing, arrived in 2017 on Anjunadeep, followed two years later by Bimini Road, and then in 2023 by Ride Away. As with his DJ sets, each album blends elements of house, disco, and R&B with a crate’s worth of musical influences. The three records were widely embraced, amassing over 100 million streams. Moon Boots has played everywhere from dimly lit clubs and warehouse parties to massive festivals. Regardless of the DJ booth's location, his objective remains the same: to keep people dancing, with a smile on their faces.Their RA profile lists Cr2 Records, Anjunadeep, Fool's Gold, Nervous Records and 4 more.Recently at Xanadu, public records, Elsewhere · often with Pinto, James Juke, Tambor y Caña, none of them here that night

DJ, music producer, and songwriter Mia Moretti has captivated audiences from nightlife to fashion, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. Starting her career playing vinyl records on Los Angeles' legendary Sunset Strip, Moretti developed a keen sonic curiosity. After moving to New York's Lower East Side she found herself at the forefront of a DJ revolution, in which her career trajectory quickly propelled. Called upon by the fashion industry, she composed runway shows and soundscapes for up-and-coming New York designers drawn to her bold choices and compelling storytelling. Her impeccable tastes and exceptional curation led her to perform at exclusive events within the halls of the Louvre and secure residencies along the illustrious Las Vegas strip. However, her musical explorations extend far beyond the confines of popular destinations, as she constantly seeks out uncharted territories. At the core of Moretti's artistic journey lies her personal vinyl collection, lovingly amassed - and growing - over the span of two decades, which serves as the driving force behind her production evident in her recent singles and highly anticipated dance EP, TAMBOR.Recently at Outer Heaven, Ziegfeld Ballroom, Knockdown Center · often with A.tari, Kapote, Dareel Marley, none of them here that night
“Miami-based DJ, producer, and vocalist Cole Knight is stepping into her place as a commanding force across the dance floor.”

the whole biography
Miami-based DJ, producer, and vocalist Cole Knight is stepping into her place as a commanding force across the dance floor. Knight’s unique perspective on sound reflects her diverse influences, built from her Midwestern roots and fine-tuned on global stages like Coachella, Exit Festival, Day Zero Tulum and club institutions such as Ibiza’s DC10, UNVRS, Berlin’s Sisyphos, and Club Space in Miami. As a DJ, Knight delivers versatile and immersive sets packed with a rolling blend of acid, house, and hard groove, with whispers of techno, UKG and breaks. Her evolution as an artist has always been reflected in her diverse curation. In charge of a dance floor, she moves gracefully across genres and styles, all while maintaining a groove-laced through line within her musical storytelling. Throughout 2025, Knight released her most confident and focused tracks to date on esteemed labels like Life and Death, Higher Ground, and Factory 93 Records, adding to her growing discography alongside previous releases on Black Book Records and He. She. They. The year concluded with the launch of her new brand ‘Knight Club’, debuting with a stage takeover at Factory Town during Art Basel in Miami. She continues the momentum into 2026 with her upcoming release, “Body Control,” set to arrive on Nervous Records in February. Prior to her career in music, Knight developed her foundational relationship with sound through training in sound meditation with David Shemesh and Alexandre Tannous, widely regarded as leading figures of the practice. Her focus on sound healing and meditation informed a deeper understanding of sound as a tool for both connection and transformation. Now, she leads her own project Duality is Reality, which integrates breathwork and meditation into immersive sound experiences. Duality has always been a central theme in Knight’s creative output. A former computer science major, her transition into music production felt intuitive as her love of electronic music grew. Also a poetry writer since childhood, she brings storytelling, lyricism, and her own vocals into her original productions and continues to bridge the technical and expressive in her music and evolving artistic vision. Cole Knight is solidifying her place in dance music as a distinct and powerful new voice, one that honors sound as a true listening practice – whether in a meditation or out on a dance floor.
