Brooklyn based Brazilian-American producer and visual artist Andre Lira, aka Doctor Jeep, has spent the past 16 years exploring dance music through a global lens. From polyrhythmic techno to dancehall, dubstep, and techy minimal drum & bass, his multicultural perspective shines through all he touches. Known for seamlessly blending UK sounds with music from his Latin heritage, DJ sets have taken him across North/South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. With appearances at Boiler Room, Outlook, Waking Life, Bass Coast, Mamba Negra, Bonnaroo, EDC, and many more, Doctor Jeep crafts a unique party experience adaptable to any vibe. His productions, incorporating a fusion of elements from techno, DnB, classic dubstep, and music from the South American diaspora, has graced labels like TraTraTrax, Nerve Collect, Kaizen, SPE:C, his own imprint DRX, and many others. He’s won accolades in worldwide media publications like Resident Advisor, Mixmag, DJ Mag, Pitchfork, and Beatport for his genre-hopping mixes and ever-evolving production style. With DJ support from a mix of underground heroes and mainstream festival headliners including Four Tet, Ben UFO, Skrillex, Special Request, Helena Hauff, Objekt, Diplo, Claude VonStroke and beyond, the future looks bright for this multifaceted artist. Born and raised in Queens, a city dweller and a club kid, Kilopatrah has an innate and superlative gift for transferring energy from the booth to the dance floor—through exciting house, techno, and jungle, and moments that both harken to Sound Factory–era glory days and bring you to sweaty BPMs of the future. Their sets are palpably personal: The dance floor has always been a powerful platform for expression for Kilo, once as a freeing and connecting space for a quiet house dancer and now as one for moving others like them. When Kilo gets going, you’ll lose sense of the kick drum versus the beat of your own body against the floor. That’s a gift from them to you, and your percussion is a gift back to them. Kilo brings their energetic sass to a monthly Lot Radio residency and to parties with impressive lineups, playing alongside Todd Terry home in New York, at the legendary Movement weekend Club Toilet in Detroit, and for Boiler Room. Their mixes, for series such as Coloring Lessons, Honcho, and Juanita’s, and for spots on Rinse and Refuge, also capture the club at its most euphoric. You’ll step a little harder with Kilopatrah Jones. Words by Sacha MadadianRecently at 9 Bob Note, Elsewhere, Paragon · often with Mike Servito, Dee Diggs, Annie Lew, none of them here that night

Wyatt Stevens is at the forefront of a young Brooklyn scene that's taking the dance music world by storm. Alongside friends and collaborators such as AceMo, Kush Jones, and DJ Swisha, he's created a genre-agnostic movement that celebrates all facets of Black electronic music, from old-school Detroit techno to the early days of jungle, drum & bass and more modern strains of American dance music. His HAUS Of ALTR label has become a hub for this community, releasing his own material as well as his critically acclaimed AceMoMA project with AceMo, and three massive compilations that define this new generation of producers. MoMA Ready makes dance music intuitively and without orthodoxy, where techno can suddenly morph into drum & bass and back again.Techno on 44, House on 37, Jungle on 16 and Deep House on 14. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on HAUS of ALTR (2) and Paraíso (1). labels on their catalogued releasesRecently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, BASEMENT, Jupiter Disco · often with Kush Jones, Regal86, Dazegxd, none of them here that night
“A triple threat who lights up a room when behind the decks, in the studio and on stage, TORIBIO is a lifelong student of rhythm.”

A triple threat who lights up a room when behind the decks, in the studio and on stage, TORIBIO is a lifelong student of rhythm. Analyzing melodies and chords with a musician's ear, the Dominican-American artist blends different genres and moods in all his creative pursuits–DJing, producing, singing, playing instruments, and even his skills on the mic. Thanks to a childhood spent playing in church and jazz drumming, the Florida-born, New York-based act has a natural sense of harmony. He takes on the role of musical cartographer in his Afro-Latin band, Conclave, whose debut album was named one of Resident Advisor's best in 2021 and praised by both Rolling Stone and the New Yorker. Acting as the ensemble's bandlander, vocalist, and key instrumentalist, TORIBIO connects jazz, soul, and house from various cultures with style and grace. His speciality in sonic connections are especially tangible in his DJing. Gliding from pan-Latin club to raw electro to jazz to old-school funk, his sets are a masterclass in building energy and tension. Whether playing Boiler Room or clubs in Mexico City and Tokyo, he knows how to work a crowd with selections and transitions that are as precise as they are powerful. As a producer, his edits and originals are DJ weapons, rinsed by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Rich Medina, and Theo Parrish. His original tracks have been remixed by the likes of Louie Vega, Joe Claussell, and DJ Spinna. Known for fostering community through movement, his Brooklyn block parties (Public Service NYC) embody the spirit of New York’s dance culture while his newly formed imprint B.D.A. is quickly becoming known for bringing these vibes to vinyl. A TORIBIO show is a full-body experience— as he always says, “bring dat ass, and your feet will follow.”House on 16, Deep House on 6, Disco on 6 and Downtempo on 6. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on BDA (4) (2) and Bastard Jazz Recordings (1); their RA profile also lists BBE, Fool's Gold, Darker Than Wax, Razor-N-Tape and 4 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at public records, Apollo Studio, Libera · often with Mickey Perez, Love Injection, MUSCLECARS, none of them here that night

Villager is a project from prodigious DMV-based producer Alex Young, permeating the globe since its inception, with support from Four Tet, Jamie XX, Bonobo, Floating Points, A-Trak, Jacques Greene, Salute, Bicep, and with five EP releases on label imprints via Boys Noize and Chloe Robinson. Now 27, at age 15 Alex Young was performing at EDC and touring with Skrillex, Diplo, and Cashmere Cat under the previous project bearing his name. This year, Villager has supported Sammy Virji and Barry Can’t Swim and is now poised for a global tour run on the strength of his recent releases. In a print interview from 2022, Future Music Magazine described Villager’s sound as “taking cues from the richly textured electronica of artists like Four Tet and Jon Hopkins, repurposing club rhythms into detailed, emotive music that rewards closer listening.” Released February 16, 2024, Villager’s latest EP Sculptor exemplifies this and is a crowning achievement in his young but storied career. The response to the EP during the weekend of its release included over a dozen editorial playlists across DSPs, over 6,000 Spotify playlist adds, a top 20 Beatport chart position, and personal co-signs from Flying Lotus and A-Trak -- all signs that Villager has made an impact with this most recent project. Alex’s tracks, journey, and creative process have been chronicled by The Fader, BBC’s Maryanne Hobbs, Magnetic Magazine, Music Radar, Future Music, Mojo Magazine, and Willy Joy’s Back-To-Back Podcast. Villager is a vessel whose musical identity knows no bounds – see: writing and production credits on Halsey's double-platinum Manic, and more recently, a 24-track instrumental project Nowhere FM, produced over a couple weeks in 2023, which spans a range of styles and influences.Their RA profile lists Boysnoize Records and Pretty Weird Records.Recently at Bogart House, Elsewhere, Heaven Can Wait · often with Tlim Shug, Leonce, Waleed, none of them here that night
