  • Walker & Royce

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Walker & Royce started when Sam and Gavin, having known each other in and out of the dance scene for years, finally began working together in 2011. Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus noticed one of their very first releases. The result was the Crosstown Rebels EP "You're Not Welcome" and with that, Walker & Royce was launched into the dance music spotlight. Around the same time, Walker & Royce released a track on OFF Recordings that went on to become a house anthem: "Connected". The song became a mainstay in Solomun's performances and with that set the stage for a diverse range of sounds from the pair. Their EP on Moda Black entitled “Sister” was picked by Pete Tong as his Essential New Tune, and their chart toping remix of Baunz’ “Out the Window” on Pets Recordings garnered support from many of the biggest artists in electronic music. Most recently the duo has joined the ranks on Claude Vonstroke’s seminal Dirtybird Records with the release of the “Boy” EP and “Hit Dem Draws” and Green Velvet’s legendary Relief Records with their chart toping release “Peep This Cat”, and “3 4 Shake It” with fellow Dirtybird artist Will Clarke. Having solidified their unique sound, you will hear Walker & Royce's music in many of the top DJ's from around the world! From Sasha to Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex to Gorgon City and Eats Everything to Locodice, they continue to break down the genre barriers and turn heads....
Their RA profile lists Music For Freaks, Crosstown Rebels, Dirtybird, Anabatic Records and 6 more.

  • DJ Minx

    Detroit · 25 bookings since Sep 2023

“A longtime fixture of Detroit's club scene, DJ Minx is often referred to as the First Lady of Wax.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
A longtime fixture of Detroit's club scene, DJ Minx is often referred to as the First Lady of Wax. Her sets and productions range from deep and minimal to boisterous and funky, earning her enduring respect across the global house and techno community. Active since the early 1990s, she formed the Women on Wax collective and launched its label in 2001, amplifying the voices of Detroit’s female DJs and producers. Minx scored an underground hit with the 2003 minimal house track “A Walk in the Park”—later reissued on Richie Hawtin’s M_nus imprint—and has continued to release music that bridges Detroit’s rich history with forward-thinking club culture. Throughout her career, Minx has played pivotal roles in Detroit’s musical story: hosting Deep Space Radio on WGPR, broadcasting Steamy Windows on CJAM, holding residencies at Club Motor, and performing at every edition of the Detroit Electronic Music Festival / Movement since its inception in 2000. Her contributions were formally recognized with the Spirit of Detroit Award in 2018, and she has been honored by Mixmag and Time Out as one of the women who shaped dance music history and among the top house DJs of all time. Since 2021, Minx has embraced her voice as a proud advocate for the Black queer community. She released Purse First to benefit Detroit’s Ruth Ellis Center, where she was also immortalized in a mural celebrating LGBTQ+ leaders. Her EP Queendom on HE.SHE.THEY. and her BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut in 2022 cemented her global presence. Do It All Night (Planet E) showcased remixes from Carl Craig and Honey Dijon, further elevating her reach. In 2025, Minx continues to thrive as one of Detroit’s most important cultural ambassadors. She released “Blocked” on Rules Don’t Apply in February—a sharp, self-empowering anthem—and collaborated with Kevin and Dantiez Saunderson as e-Dancer on “Detroit”, an intergenerational tribute to her city’s techno legacy. She also lit up her hometown with a halftime performance for the Detroit Pistons in March 2025. International bookings remain strong, with headline festival slots and curated stages at Movement and beyond. From her roots in Detroit’s underground to her present role as a global cultural force, DJ Minx stands as a living legend: bold, soulful, and uncompromising, still shaping the future of dance music more than three decades in.

    the whole biography
Kyle Watson has carved out a distinctive space in the global house music landscape, known for his fusion of cutting-edge sound design, deep basslines, and chunky, percussive grooves. His sound blends underground grit with forward-thinking production - music built to hit just as hard on a festival rig as it does through headphones. Early releases like ‘Watermelons’, ‘Moments’, and ‘Don’t Talk’ connected on dancefloors in the US and South America, breaking him out of the South African scene and earning global attention. Since then, he’s delivered standout records on labels like Catch & Release, Realm, Black Book and DFTD, with tracks like ‘The Afterhours’, ‘Magic Carpet’ and his remix of Sage The Gemini’s ‘Gas Pedal’ receiving widespread support. As co-founder of No Context Records (launched alongside his wife in 2023) Kyle has created a platform for innovative, bassline-driven house music that pushes new and established artists in the scene. Backed by tastemakers like Chris Lake, John Summit, and Gorgon City, Kyle’s sound has taken him worldwide - from EDC to Coachella, Lollapalooza Brazil and Ultra South Africa to headline shows across the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and his home turf of South Africa. Now based in the UK, Kyle continues to push boundaries with no signs of slowing down.
Their RA profile lists Ultra Records, Armada Music, Atlantic Records, DFTD and 3 more.
