    their own biography

    the whole biography
Now based in NYC after several years in Berlin, she earned a bright reputation in the scene as well for her long dedication to the dance music community and authentic love for music. With a broad style forged by long days of digging crates and stumbling upon all sorts of electronic music gems, mu”he’s techno sets move far beyond the latest subgenres, incorporating influences from 80’s Japanoise, 90’s old school rave and 2000’s left-field electronica. Her depth of knowledge allows her to build wide-ranging sets that meld cutting edge sounds with forgotten classics, interspersing tough physical grooves with moments of timeless dancefloor euphoria. mu”he’s style is imbued with the purpose of preserving the essential and treasured values of dance music that moves hearts and bodies irrespective of time period or genre. Moved in Berlin in May 2023, mu”he has been quickly booking appearances at some of Berlin’s best clubs and festivals across Europe in the last year–most notably: Berlin Atonal, Lunchmeat Festival, La Nature Festival, Whole Festival and an array of Berlin clubs including Berghain, Tresor, OHM and RSO. She continues to maintain a busy touring schedule in Asia as well, having toured Japan, China, Taiwan and Thailand in the last year. In May 2024, she founded her own label PARNASSUS with the vision of creating timeless dance music for bold, sexy, and free dancefloors and released her first EP featuring two original tracks and remixes by two of Japan’s most prominent producers: DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, a techno producer with close ties to Berlin’s legendary club and label Tresor since the 90s, and Mars89, a singular and important talent in Tokyo’s underground scene.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Joiah is an Italian–Colombian singer, producer, and DJ based in New York whose approach to electronic music feels closer to ritual than performance. She gravitates toward the spaces where eras, textures, and energies blur — between 90s trance echoes, cosmic house sensibilities, raw house breaks, and the shadowy pulse of techno. Never tied to a single lane, she moves through styles like currents, guided by intuition, symbolism, and emotion. As a producer, she released “Alchemic Amazon” on BSR, featuring a remix by Paolo Mosca, alongside several independent projects. Her collaborations include work with Muted Noise (with Roger Gerressen), Picnic Records, Klassified, vocal contributions to Gojnea76, an appearance on Nathan Melja’s Djo Sinego, and a guest mix for R&S Records. She has also delivered mixes for The Lot Radio. Joiah holds a residency with Signal and Apollo Studio while further expanding her presence within the global underground landscape. She has performed across the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, France, and the United States, and has shared the stage with acts such as Mochakk, Deniro, Gojnea76, Sandrien, BELLA, VTSS, and more. In New York, she curates the underground series Sudden Logic and hosts Talks With Goddesses — The Artemisia Collective, a podcast devoted to female empowerment in the arts and sports, exploring intuition, identity, and the transformative force of community. “Joiah’s artistry is like a galaxy brain-scaled explosion of sounds. She weaves Cali, Colombia’s bustling markets into ear candy with jazzy breaks, acid twirls, and dreamy vocals. Picture yourself vibing from a chill house party to a neon-lit club, all in one track. Indeed, Joiah’s eclecticism appeals as much to the listener as the dancer, which grants her a PHD in spirit lifting.” - Best Kept Secret Music Festival
