Born and raised amidst the vibrant rhythms of Maracaibo, Venezuela, Fabiana Medina known as CRYFXB emerged as a force in the world of electronic music. Her journey began in South America, where the rich tapestry of cultural influences laid the foundation for her deep connection to music. In her formative years, CRYFXB's musical palette expanded, and she found herself captivated by the electrifying energy of techno. Fuelled by this newfound love, she delved into the art of DJing, honing her skills and developing a unique style that seamlessly blended high-energy techno with elements of hardcore. Her early performances in the local scene quickly gained attention, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. CRYFXB moved to New York City in 2019. The city's dynamic and diverse music scene provided the perfect backdrop for her to carve out her niche in the industry. Embracing the city's relentless pace, she became a fixture in the underground techno circuit, known for her electrifying sets that blurred the lines between hard techno and hardcore. Sparking interest with her bootleg remixes and grabbing the attention of scene staples Gupi, SEBii, Donatachi and their fans alike. The founder of Rock Angelz - a queer/poc focused music resource group, Riri has made a name for herself as a prominent black trans artist in a white dominated scene, and as a consistent collaborator and a talented producer, working with the likes of Fraxiom, Left at London, RYL0, Girl Online, Charlie Fisher, Saturnultra and many more. Since her debut, Riri has appeared in a number of essential producer lists, had been featured in soundcloud’s “Hi-Lite” editorial, and even has been included in both of the infamous hyperpop icebergs and in a variety of publications from around the world. Along with regularly playing shows across the country alongside friends such as food house, Riri will be touring with the Rock Angelz Tour in the spring/summer of 2022. Wren’s Lullaby is multimedia artist and DJ based in New York City. Her sets rise out of the shadows of queer nightlife, crafted with intention and care, fusing emotional resonance with rhythmic complexity. Whether in a smoke-filled basement, a warehouse rave, or a late-night bar booth, Wren builds immersive sonic worlds, ritualistic, cinematic, and often haunted. Her selections are shaped by a broad and nonlinear palette drawing from minimal techno, dark ambient, industrial textures, and the forgotten corners of the internet. Wren isn’t interested in genre for genre’s sake; instead, she curates with feeling. Her sound moves between tenderness and tension, layering dissonance and stillness into sets that are less about climax and more about sustained atmosphere. She’s known for long, textural builds and emotionally raw transitions, inviting dancers into spaces that feel intimate, distorted, and alive. Wren, and respective party: CMPLTLYGONE, have become a recurring figure in NYC’s underground since 2024, performing at queer-centric venues like Rash, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and Talon, as well as community-run events and warehouse parties throughout Brooklyn. Her presence on lineups often signals an intentional mood; events that center femme rage, trans joy, grief, resistance, and the subversion of normative dancefloor expectations. She’s shared space with a growing network of artists committed to radical nightlife—ones who know that safety, pleasure, and politics are inseparable. Off the decks, Wren is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher whose work spans video, text, and sound. Her practice focuses on memory, embodiment, queer archives, and the afterlives of club spaces.
