the whole biography
Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. Most recently, he released the experimental project "Where The Ashes Glow" on NNA Tapes.Techno on 2, Afrobeat on 1, Art Rock on 1 and Ethereal on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on White Owl Records (3) (2) and Gonzo Circus (1); their RA profile also lists NNA Tapes and White Owl Records. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Le Petit Box, BASEMENT · often with Juana, Ne/Re/A, VILE, none of them here that night

AOIFE is an Irish DJ and producer who has carved out her own space in the underground circuit, steadily building a reputation for her uncompromising sound and hypnotic selections. Renowned for sculpting heavy low-end and immersive soundscapes, her sets are defined by raw, driving techno that blurs the line between intensity and transcendence. She has brought this sound to some of the most respected dance floors across the globe, with standout performances from Tbilisi to New York, as well as multiple appearances at UNFOLD at FOLD the flagship London party reserved for only the most distinctive artists as well as Techno institution Tresor, Berlin. These defining moments, recognised by those who truly know, have cemented her reputation as one of the most compelling DJs to emerge from Belfast in recent years. Praised for her fluid and immersive mixing style, AOIFE seamlessly drags listeners through warped techno grooves, long, lingering blends, and cavernous soundscapes. Each set is delivered with patience and precision; sprawling arpeggios colliding with deep bass weight and textured rhythms, creating a sound that feels both tactile and transportive. Recognised by Resident Advisor and FourFour Magazine for Mixes of the Day / Week, she has also showcased her sound on Rinse FM, and NTS. Expanding naturally into production, AOIFE has begun to tease her growing discography with contributions on Disconnekt, Re:flect, Encrypted and Flash Recordings with much more on the horizon.Their RA profile lists Flash Recordings and Disconnekt Records.Recently at The Chocolate Factory, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with TRESOR, TAUREAN (2), Offtrack, none of them here that night

Irish-born and New York-based, STE-VÍ has carved out a distinct space within the city’s underground through a disciplined, vinyl-led approach to techno. His selections span the spectrum of the genre, moving from deep, hypnotic layers to driving, emotive peaks and rhythmic grooves, all anchored by a room-led approach. By prioritizing timing and flow, he allows the specific energy of the night to dictate the trajectory of the set. Committed to vinyl culture, his selections prioritize modern pressings while drawing from earlier records for both inspiration and functionality. This approach allows different eras of techno to sit naturally within a forward-looking sound, a perspective recently highlighted by his Berlin debut at Renate for the QS1 showcase in March 2026. Active within New York’s underground circuit since his debut at Basement NY in 2025, he continues to build momentum through consistent appearances at the city's most respected booths. As the founder of Solace NY, he further champions this vinyl-first ethos by curating a platform for emerging talent from the US and Europe. The event series fosters a deliberate exchange between the two landscapes, emphasizing thoughtful programming and a commitment to the fundamental craft of the selector. Whether navigating major club systems or steering an intimate floor, STE-VÍ remains focused on the enduring culture of the wax-only booth.Their RA profile lists VÍSO Records.Recently at BASEMENT, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Jupiter Disco · often with Adrian Hex, Secret Raver, jay york, none of them here that night
