A born and bred in New Yorker, DJ Thank You first took to the decks at age 16, and has cemented herself as an integral force in the city's underground. Her signature stadium style sound has rightfully earned her the title “hottest DJ in NYC” (Interview Magazine). Known for clean technical execution and a mischievous sense of drama, DJ Thank You takes you for a wild ride... tight turns, curveball blends, sudden drops, and a euphoric hands-in-the-air spirit. She synthesized this approach in her self-produced debut record, “Roller Coaster,” an homage to the Dirty Dutch sound that first inspired her love for electronic music. Following the album’s release, she brought it on a nationwide tour with rising EDM superstars, Frost Children. In her 9 years as a DJ, she has been tapped by major cultural and brand-name institutions including Celine (hand selected by Hedi Slimane himself), Nike, Adidas, Ugg, Red Bull, NASDAQ, Gagosian Gallery, Rockefeller Center, Times Square Arts (TSQ), and was featured twice in the official score of the Mowalola's "Detty Pop" collection.Noise on 1 and Power Electronics on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesRecently at Elsewhere, 99 Scott Ave, Le Bain · often with Angel Money, flirty800, Miss Parker, none of them here that night
“To sum it up best, Juno sees techno as a textbook through culture and history.”
their own biography
the whole biography
To sum it up best, Juno sees techno as a textbook through culture and history. The Queens, NY-born Jamaican DJ has always gravitated toward electronic music since they were younger, but it wasn’t until after their time living in Germany and North Carolina that they realized how much deeper this music goes. Through their own research and the guidance of the owners of the former NC record store 641 RPM (shoutout E&T), they discovered the roots and sound of the music we all love. Underground Resistance, DJ Bone , Jay Denham , and many more acts and individuals inspired them and shaped what this music means to them, as well as what it can teach to so many, such as themes of resistance, community, and humanity. Now living back in Queens, they’ve been making their way around the circuit, playing at notable spots like Bossa Nova Civic Club, Signal and H0L0 , where they’ve shared the stage with techno OGS such as Joey Beltram, Adam X, DJ Shufflemaster, Mike Dearborn, and Shawnscape Renegade. While their growth may not be exponential, they’re truly in this for the long game and the love of the sound. Picking up records in late 2023 only deepened their passion and knowledge of music, and they’ve become increasingly comfortable with their style, showcasing it whenever they can in the new NYC music scene.Recently at Paragon, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mood Ring · often with KYRUH, wahala.wav, Simisola, none of them here that night

Erika dreams on the cellular level, or perhaps of transdimensional intelligences moving through strange patterns on celestial objects, working towards a mysterious goal. Her connection to the dreamworld becomes concrete in her approach to music, simultaneously so solid and yet so ethereal. Erika still finds time to accomplish many things in her waking hours, such as being a member of Ectomorph, co-conspirator of Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions record label, DJing and making music with her pet machines. Her freeform streaming radio station erika.net was one of the very first iTunes presets, running 24x7 for 17 years from 1999 to 2016. Prior to that, Erika was very involved in WCBN-FM Ann Arbor, as a freeform and jazz DJ, and Program Director. The daughter of a famed scientist and already running a well known BBS from her bedroom by the time she was 13, Erika is no stranger to expressing her ideas through technology. In 1997 she was handed a TR-606 and asked to join Ectomorph, and has since become an electronic musician of the highest order, focusing on analog synthesis, with live hardware sequencing that allows transformation over time and a deep depth of tone. to book live or DJ — NA: michelle@thebunkerny.com rest of world: mike@berytus.artTheir RA profile lists Tresor, Interdimensional Transmissions, Modular Cowboy, Acid Test and 2 more.Recently at Nowadays, Mansions, Elsewhere · often with TRESOR, GLOBUS, Lexicon, none of them here that night
