Marcel Fengler: A Visionary of Modern Techno Marcel Fengler has been quoted as “one of the finest techno DJs” (Resident Advisor), earning international recognition for his “well-crafted body of production work” (FACT) and the unique, “multi-faceted personality” (Electronic Beats) he brings to his craft. For almost three decades, Fengler has developed a versatile and dynamic DJing style, making him one of the first resident DJs at Berlin’s legendary Berghain / Panorama Bar in 2005. Known for his ability to shift pace, atmosphere, and energy in response to the dance floor, he seamlessly moves between industrial-drenched hardness, broken beats, gloomy dubs, and melodic grooves. His early releases on Ostgut Ton and Mote Evolver paved the way for his debut album, Fokus (2013), a statement of intent filled with emotional depth and unexpected contrasts. These influences manifest themselves in further own projects, which he combined in 2018 under his other artist profile AZUR. In 2011, Fengler launched his imprint, Index Marcel Fengler (IMF), a label dedicated to his timeless techno vision while serving as a platform for emerging talent. This philosophy took on new dimensions in 2024 with the launch of ‚KISHIKAN’, an event series combining elements of his ‘IMF label showcases’, ‘Marcel Fengler Invites’ events and the newly established HARDPROOF VA project. With KISHIKAN, Fengler contiznues to push boundaries, creating a fresh space for artistic innovation and musical exploration. As a DJ and producer, Marcel Fengler stands for imposing surprises and the appeal of variety. For him, techno is both unconditional passion as well as an essential part of his identity. He’s not bound to a linear or one-dimensional sound, instead, he’s constantly seeking for new ways to express his emotional storytelling skills. His willingness to challenge himself and to stay curious, while establishing changes as his secret persistence, is showing his true vision of techno which makes Marcel Fengler to one of the today’s most exciting electronic artists in these days.
Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Coincidence Records, Mote-Evolver, IMF and 4 more.

  • Amanda Mussi

Sao Paulo, Brazil · 7 bookings since Jan 2024

    “Amanda’s sets change people.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Amanda’s sets change people. They feel like they are flying, and love moves through their bodies in waves. She plays with time like an alchemist, stretching it, deconstructing it, rebuilding until the floor becomes somewhere else entirely. Particularly known for her closing sets and all-nighters, she understands how a night breathes, how to read the arc of hours and bring a crowd to exactly where they need to land. Shaped by the mechanical soul of Detroit and the fractured textures of UK sounds, her music translates into deep, driving, dubby and hypnotic techno, extending into sassy, rolling house. The way she assembles a set carries that same instinct as sampling culture, lifting, layering, recontextualising until something new and unrepeatable takes shape, but still keeping the unrelenting continuous groove as the lead of her ceremonial sounds. What you hear is a language built from tribalistic percussion, layered vocals, and soundscapes that move between the earthly and the galactic, cinematic in texture, like transmissions arriving from just beyond the visible. She moves between ethereal stillness and raw kinetic force, between grounding and flight, holding space for both surrender and elevation. Over the years she has run a record label, a booking agency, and her own party, building scenes, not just playing them. That history of community-making lives on in how she moves through the world: collaborating deeply with artists wherever she plays, never a passing presence, always part of the connective tissue. Today that same energy goes into mentoring emerging talent, bringing together technical rigour and a holistic, intuitive approach to the craft. Berlin-based and South American at her roots, Mussi built her career across her home countries Brazil and Paraguay before planting herself at the heart of the global electronic music world. She has been performing on Berghain’s main floor for years, and has carried her practice further across São Paulo, Asunción, Amsterdam, and New York, continuing to tour widely across Europe and into Asia.
Their RA profile lists 24 Hours Records, PG TUNE, Massa Records, Unterwegs and 3 more.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Jeffrey Sfire is originally from suburban Detroit, where he was introduced to underground dance music and illegal warehouse parties as a teenager in the 90's. This escape from suburbia led him to the dancefloors of the city’s most talented DJs and musicians, who soon exposed him to a new culture of creative riches. Learning by example, Sfire’s taste and skills as a DJ developed naturally and he soon began playing out at parties, clubs and sleazy gay afterhours, entering covertly through back doors or with a fake ID. At the age of 18, a move to Chicago led Sfire to a whole other side of dance music history, including the Italo Disco and High Energy sounds of the 1980s. He spent afternoons digging through record store crates, meeting retired DJs and developing his musical palette. Jeffrey’s style is absolutely unique and clearly tied to the roots of his midwest upbringing and he can be found working the floor out with italo, high nrg, chicago house, and everything WBMX. Having held numerous club residencies, he regularly plays in LA, Detroit, Chicago, and New York, consistently offering a finely-tuned selection at clubs like Basement and Nowadays in NY, Panoramabar Berlin, and Hot Mass in Pittsburgh. He also has a hand in producing parties such as Detroit's infamous Movement weekend queer rager, Club Toilet, and collaborating with Justin Cudmore on a new monthly Sunday party at Signal (NY). Jeffrey is also a gifted producer and one half of production projects: Sfire (with Sophie), Looky Looky, and Pushing Movies with releases on labels such as Dark Entries, Cocktail D’Amore Music and Ultramajic, while his mixes have long been prized for their depth and quality and are often featured as RA mix of the day.
