    the whole biography
XSB-R (acronym for 48-2) is the electronic music project of Brooklyn native Henry Chen. Raised in the New York Tri-State area, Henry’s musical foundation was shaped by countless nights immersed in the region’s Goth, Industrial, and Dark Techno dancefloors. XSB-R channels these deep-rooted influences, aiming to embody cultural heritage and musical lineage while serving as a messenger for dark electronic sounds from across the globe Beyond his own project, Henry founded TUNNELWERK, a platform dedicated to showcasing Acid, EBM, Noise, and Underground Techno music. The monthly series highlights both local DJs and producers, fostering a space for community and exploration within the darker edges of electronic music. Henry was also a resident at Caffeine Underground in Bushwick, where he launched Cafe Reflexion, a more intimate experience that brings Darkwave and Industrial-adjacent music into a coffee-shop setting.
