the whole biography
Boyfriend Dick is a New York-based DJ and multidisciplinary artist. Emerging from the Bushwick rave scene, he has become a distinctive voice in queer nightlife, performing at iconic queer festivals Honcho Campout and Whole Festival, as well as well-known NYC venues like Paragon, Public Records, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and The Lot Radio. His sets range in genre and tone—from euphoric, polyrhythmic dancefloor intensity to slinky, sensual downtempo textures. Across disciplines, his practice spans performance, music production, sculpture, and meme curation, with a current focus on clowning.Recently at The Cock, Paragon, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with SPRKLBB, Total XTC, Simzii, none of them here that night

OYYSTER, born in Mexico City to a Mexican father and Chinese mother, has never been fond of cookie-cutter labels. That's palatable in his energetic club sound, which flows through genres like raggaeton, baile and guaracha to techno and ghetto tech. In 2021, he founded the influential queer party collective Whorechata, which has championed artists who push the boundaries of Latin identity and sound.Last at The Chocolate Factory in Jun · often with Roman Sensation, Iris Estefanía, SINKITTY, none of them here that night
