Glasgow’s finest, Lauren Andrew, aka La La has made waves for herself in recent years. With origins in Edinburgh’s FLY Club and Glasgow’s Sub Club, she stepped out of her native Scotland in 2019 and hit the ground running on the international circuit, regularly playing at world-renowned clubs and festivals, before launching a family of record labels. La La’s reach now extends around the world, having toured extensively across Europe, Asia and Australia, at institutions such as Fabric London, Circoloco Ibiza, Lost Sundays Sydney and Awakenings Amsterdam to name a few, as well as headlining her own parties in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and Dublin. Her weekly radio shows on Rinse FM, broadcasts on Boiler Room and Mixmag Lab, and guest appearances on BBC Radio One have cemented La La as an authority on dance music. Her taste spans peak time Techno to classic House, and everything in between, perhaps best demonstrated on her debut release ‘Give Yourself A Try’, a 10 track mixtape released via her own Brand New Records imprint in 2023. After launching Brand New Records as an imprint to empower Scottish artists, La La then started sister-label Sound As – an outlet for great music beyond Scotland. Having already hosted the likes of Spencer Parker and Man Power, Sound As is carving out a space for quality dance music, whatever the genre. MATTHEW LAW is a Philadelphia-bred DJ, producer and torchbearer for the city’s rich, party rocking legacy. When he moved to Brooklyn NY, he joined The Fool’s Gold Records team as a DJ, remixer and producer alongside the legendary A-Trak. Now, alongside DJing and music production, he’s added NYC operations manager for Wax Poetics magazine to the list. Law draws upon this vast musical knowledge during DJ sets, entertaining audiences in cities across the globe. He’s rocked crowds alongside such DJs as Benji B, Waajeed, SG Lewis, Jazzy Jeff, Questlove and more. Law has also spent time as the official tour DJ for Grammy Award-winning singer Jazmine Sullivan. As a producer, he returns to his impetus for becoming a DJ in the first place; Club, Broken Beat and House ––the rhythms that are closest to his own heartbeat. His debut EP entitled Rumble has already received critical acclaim and has been featured on 2 episodes of HBO’s breakout comedy series Southside. His most recent EP, MATT!, has been playlisted on Tidal’s “Future Proof.” Law has also released remixes and original music on Fool’s Gold, Sony and K7!/Planet E. In 2018, he released his 1st single featuring iconic underground singer/producer Seven Davis Jr. entitled “I Call Her.” In 2024, he expanded into the realm of live electronic production with a piece entitled “Sustainable Dystopia” at King Britt’s Blacktronika Festival. Matthew Law has toured extensively in the U.S., Europe and Asia since 2011.
