Her work is both driving and calculated as well as colorful and joyful, showcasing a strong influence of diasporic roots and a depth of musical understanding that's under constant redefinition. Having performed with staple parties of the LA underground, such as Mustache Mondays and Rail Up, she’s opened for DJ Lag, Yaeji, Mexican Jihad, Tayhana, and Coucou Chloe. Her mixes provide an exploratory interpretation of music and culture, such as her mix for Moonshine on Rinse France, her mix for The Astral Plane’s LA series, and her 100% Dancehall Mix for Sleeper Cell on NTS.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Gabriela, Mood Ring · often with amita, Statice, Marios, none of them here that night

Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist tinasnow knows no bounds. She channels her love for design, music and community in every way possible. Born in Portland, Oregon in 1988 to Vietnamese refugees, her early life was soundtracked by new wave, 90s hip-hop and club classics. Her sets reflect her love for sounds that raise you into higher frequencies, blending genres across soulful house, funk, break beats and disco.
