Shaped by her path from Bogotá, Colombia, to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and now New York City, Bana’s sound creates space for feeling and release through deep, immersive textures and deep-groove rhythms. Each set is carefully curated to invite introspection, connection, and movement, drawing inspiration from labels like Studio Barnhus and Kompakt. Traces of her Colombian and Caribbean heritage shape her rhythmic sensibility, adding warmth and pulse to her sonic language. Ana Maria, artistically known as Bana, is a New York–based DJ, visual artist, and co-founder of Audio Studio, a creative collective launched alongside Marco Araneda. With a background in art direction and design, she approaches music as narrative—merging sound and visual storytelling to craft intimate, emotionally driven experiences on and beyond the dancefloor.Recently at Apollo Studio, Bogart House, Dead Letter No. 9 · often with Enssembl, Ardio Zemog, Spencer Zabiela, none of them here that night

Influenced by the old days of the underground scene in his hometown of Bogotá and the vibrant local scene in Brooklyn since 2020, Juan has evolved into a passionate record collector, selector, and DJ. Drawn to minimal, spacey, and organic sounds, he aims to craft immersive sets that tell a story—building toward a dynamic climax that evokes movement and deep engagement with the music. Juan has collaborated with rising collectives like Audio, Ethos, and Nocturnal Sounds, and performed for leading communities such as ReSolute and venues such as VideoClub in Bogota, Mad Radio, and H0l0 in Brooklyn, among others.
