the whole biography
Gee Dee is a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer rooted firmly in North America’s club scene. With longstanding residencies at New York institutions Good Room and Public Records, and as a 10-year veteran of Philadelphia’s iconic party Making Time, Gee Dee has been commanding dance floors for over a decade. Since his debut 12” EP in 2020, Gee Dee has delivered standout records on Superior Elevation, Planet Trip, and most recently, Klasse Wrecks. He has contributed tracks to compilations on Dream Chimney and Terra Magica, and turned in a remix for Rhode & Brown on Permanent Vacation — a track that was recently supported by Matisa on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1. In 2025, Gee Dee launched his own imprint, Free Universe, with debut collaborations alongside household names Kim Ann Foxman and Roman Flügel. An optimistic sense of freedom and a contagious lack of inhibition shine brightly throughout his work. A true purveyor of the “anything goes” ethos, Gee Dee seamlessly traverses decades, genres, tempos, and moods in both his DJ sets and productions — taking listeners on a sonic journey that’s equal parts euphoric, hypnotic, and psychedelic. His sound reflects the past while pushing fearlessly toward the future... always guaranteed to make you sweat. Gee Dee has performed at leading festivals such as Dekmantel, Making Time, and Love International, and graced club institutions like Basement, Flash, 1015 Folsom, Floyd, Nitsa, Zukunft, Platforma Wolff, and The Observatory. Whether in the U.S. or abroad, his sets leave a lasting impression. Outside of his solo work, he is one half of Infinity Machine — a live ambient act with Juan Maclean. Together, they’ve released three album-length cassettes on DFA Records, with a full-length double LP slated for 2026. A consistent contributor to the online mix sphere, Gee Dee’s encyclopedic musical knowledge comes to life in guest radio spots for Peggy Gou’s Gudu Mix Series, HÖR Radio, Heels & Souls on Worldwide FM, Bar Part Time, Friendly Potential, Tuff Shed on NTS Radio, and many more.House on 5, Ambient on 4, Downtempo on 4 and Acid on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on FREE UNIVERSE (3), DFA (1) and Soft Rock For Hard Times (1); their RA profile also lists Permanent Vacation, Superior Elevation, Klasse Wrecks, Dream Chimney and 2 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Honey's, Knockdown Center, Good Room · often with Juan Maclean, JDH, Mike Servito, none of them here that night
“Born in Ohio and raised by New York clubs, Cosmo is a shining modern representative of the city’s Golden Age of DJing, in skill, in spirit, and in sensibility.”

Born in Ohio and raised by New York clubs, Cosmo is a shining modern representative of the city’s Golden Age of DJing, in skill, in spirit, and in sensibility. A forever student of 90s subcultures, Cosmo is now an authority in connecting those dots, decompartmentalizing genres during her sets and revitalizing the club as a much needed space for expression and joy. Cosmo may open a night with her early entry points to dance music, gospel and funk and vocal-heavy RnB, and proceed to blend break beats with new jack swing or old-school house with tribal—all delivered with remarkable clarity of voice and a sense of self that fueled her fated teenage move to New York to DJ over a decade ago. Being from the Midwest, her house music literacy circles its epicenters and favors groovy records, warm basslines, playful vocals, and elating instrumentals that stir the spirit. Her deep knowledge, cultural curiosity, and refreshing authenticity make Cosmo one of New York’s most in-demand DJs, a regular at the most iconic clubs and a Fashion Week party go-to. She is a resident at Public Records, where she can explore every inch of her collection and join forces with legends like Sandy Rivera as well as other torchbearing peers. She’s represented the city sharing the decks with her heroes like Honey Dijon and Mike Dunn, and on esteemed platforms such as Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show and Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company show. As a longtime resident at The Lot Radio, Cosmo gets the opportunity to share everything she cherishes and often includes parts of her CD and magazine archives. Music has soundtracked Cosmo’s every move. Her gratitude for her practice is apparent, and her effervescence behind the decks reaches the crowd no matter the size of the room—a musical hug that holds dancers through times good and bad.Recently at Libera, Elsewhere, Mood Ring · often with Eli Escobar, Donis, Hidden Spheres, none of them here that night

kels is a triple threat: dancer, digger, and DJ. She had her musical upbringing in Detroit, where she danced for 13 years surrounded by the people who gave birth to the music and values that exposed her to different realms. Being present and sensitive trained her ear and took her musicality to the next level. In 2018 she started her party and mix series maneater - where she cultivated unique line ups that connected many talented DJ’s to share music in spaces that allowed them to shine.
